That Lawler vs Snowman match was one of the most absolutely bizarre but compelling spectacles of 90’s wrestling. Seeing Lawler do his best Minoru Suzuki/UWFI impression vs Snowman was wild. The match is ugly from a technical standpoint but that’s what made it great. They made it look like a shoot with the takedowns and strikes.

Lawler had worked shoots with Savage and Dundee and a street fight they all could work. Snowman couldn't even throw a legit looking punch, no wrestling skills and couldn't sell anything. Horrible matches.
@contentm3893 Not saying the matches were good, they were awful. My point was...they were clearly not a normal wrestling match, the fans could tell something wasn't right (it didn't look like a legit fight, but it didn't look like a worked wrestling match either)

I always used to laugh at Lawler stupid wwe gimmick. I think Vince turned him under. He was a great wrestler & gimmick. One of the top guys who is still around. He is definitely one of the top best. He’s also the best on the microphone. Puppies!!!!
