Thank you! My 17 year old loves braids and I can corn row, box braid(not knotless😂) and I started knotless braids last night. YOU HAVE SIMPLIFIED THIS PROCESS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR ME!
I used this method - not only is it WAY faster, it looks better than every other time I've done it! My daughter loves the way her hair turned out❤ Thank you for posting this video!
This was so simple and easy. I also can do box braids and cornrows but the knotless I can't master that one as yet. So this was very helpful. My daughter love braids when ever she is on summer break so I'm definitely going to try out this method. Thank you
Thank you so much. 🤗 My daughter wants knotless braids for school but I only knew how to do the regular rubber band box braids. This way appears to be within my limited skill set. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
Cute 😍 I believe I use the same edge control you used in this video, “Magic Fingers”, and it works well for me (more on the 4b side). One tip to remove the stiffness of the top portion of the braids: once you’ve dipped and dried the rods on the towel, take the heat/steam from the towel and pat or wrap it around the head! Easy, safe and reduces the stiffness! 🙌🏾
Magic finger is great for the base, but i find it was a little soft for the hair left out. Maybe her texture just different. Great point about the towel on the top, using the steam to soften the hair.
I recommend using Shea Butter..put a decent amount of clumps in..massage what you can in to the scalp then use a blow dryer to melt the butter (do not go over board lol what want our hair, natural or not to be safe). Gives the same effect as edge control, less gunk, better for your style and hair.
I just discovered your channel, I really like the hairstyle tutorial, it's well explained in addition😊, I also made a video on how to make box braids with the elastic technique. Good video (from France )

Thank you so much I’m going to do my granddaughters for Christmas
I will try this method besides using the crochet. I like this way better 👍🏽
You can also use a beader to crotchet hair as well. I use it all the time instead of the crotchet needle it snags a lot.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gorgeous braids, she look amazing, perfect tutorial. Thanks 😊
You have a gift when it comes to braiding!
Thank you 😍😍
Thanks so much for this❤😊

You did a great job! I’m going to try this technique because I don’t have the crochet lach
Amazing beautiful job 💜

Eco booster edge control is the best I have this same hair type
This method looks very simple.
Love it. ..did she feed in the first braid
Thanks a lot ma'am.Youre a darling
Beautiful! Will the rubber band break the hair off? Could mini scrunch/hair ties work?
I haven’t experienced rubber band breaking off my hair if taken off properly. Mini hair ties may be bulky but it’s always worth a try
Can you use this method with smaller braids vs jumbo?
Thank you!
Well explain thanks sista
My pleasure 😊
Can I really try it out ofcourse am doubting
You can try it out, the worst that can happen is you try one and you don’t like it and you take it out.
Thank you 😊
Thanks!
woo nice
Thanks Abby
Wow
Is is ok if I double my rubber band twice?
I just discovered your channel, I really like the hairstyle tutorial, it's well explained in addition😊, I also made a video on how to make box braids with the elastic technique. Good video (from France )
Can you do one with the over arm braiding
Okay will do
Quick question, will the rubber bands break the hair?
How many packs was used
How do you cover the rubber band?
how many packs of hair did you use, and how many braids did you make?
How do you prevent rubber bands from popping
😍😍😍😍
Can this be done for medium or smaller braids
Does this method ever tend to slip?
Nice
Am Ashwin n I Wana do it on my own tnx
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
NOW, THAT IS WHAT I CALL 4C HAIR!!! THE STRUGGLE IS REAL. GOOD JOB!
💜💜💜
Thank you
💎💎💎💯
I LOVE YOU
I still see knots ..
Appreciate the tutorial but the slowness of it was really stressing me out
No no.. rubberbands pull the hair out
Add oil to the bands, don’t wrap bands too tightly, hair won’t break.
Someone doing my hair better not use rubberbands😒
Why does nobody like knots ??
Too chunky for me, and you can tell they are fake too easily
Nice
