If you're working with fondant the wrinkles in the gloves leave impressions on the surface. If you're working with buttercream, very often the gloves are too long on the fingertips and they drag into the icing giving it a sloppy look. Cake decorating is a weird profession where maybe you should wear gloves, but no one does.

You start slicing at the top. Slice down to the first board and all around, then remove the board and dowels under it and slice the next tier down. The way he did it (even IF it held up), you'd have no choice but to slice gigantic tall pieces of cake and make a big mess of it. I REALLY hope no one tries his methods at home, bc they will fail and not understand what they are doing wrong since he's supposedly a "pro".

I thought the Yellow was really pretty, when he put little pink it also looked lovely. it looked like the rose had sat in a cup of colored water and the tips of the rose changed colors. But then he over killed it which made the rose look horrible.
