Thanks for a great review. Four years later, I've purchased a used M1 Mark iii and am looking forward to seeing what it can do compared to the mark ii that I've been using for a few years.

Another interesting review from LCE. Once again they have given us a real world outdoor test that is informative and entertaining. Great stuff!

Comprehensive presentation of the features, thank you. It has a few things over my EM1ii that make me want to upgrade .

We were really impressed by the stabilisation, especially in video mode - all our footage from the Mk III in this video is all handheld.

Another nice real life review/test showing the benefits of m43, well done :)

Does the AF works at 120fps?

Good video; nice presentation of the camera's features.. However, you should invest in a better outdoor microphone.

No mention of using the same Sensor, LCD and EVF as mk2? Is this an olympus paid ad?

cyrax83 I think it’s the same size but not the same sensor as E-M1.2. It is the same sensor as EM1X

@@StewartBairdPhoto Actually the Mk II, 1X and Mk III share the same sensor but the 1X and Mk III have new coatings to the sensor compared to the Mk II. I shouldn't matter all that much though since the sensor is excellent and way more than most people need or can take advantage of :)
Evf and display, in response to @cyrax83 I do agree on, they should've been updated long time ago.
Processor is also different way different if the Olympus visionaries are correct in their videos, stating that Olympus says the new TruePic IX is as powerful as the two the TruePic VIII's in the 1X. It would seem plausible given most features are the same including live ND and HHHR.

Rasmus Mattsson I would have just minor complaints with the em1.3 - slow 2nd SD slot and no new grip. The grip is missing the joystick, so a pity they didn’t add this. Sensor size is fine to me.

@@StewartBairdPhoto Agreed, mostly. Apart from EVF and Display. Sensor size is more than fine, as is the resolution. The second UHS-II while missing, I prefer it this way over the Panasonic G9 which has two UHS-II slots but due to PCI lanes (not sure if the cameras use PCI lanes as computers but it's the same concept) those two cards only work at half speed rather than full speed. So the E-M1 Mk II and Mk III will write much faster to the UHS-II slot it does have compared to most cameras with dual UHS-II slots (I believe the 1X writes full speed to both UHS-II slots?).
Hopefully they can update the grip with an added mini joystick as well.

Really disappointed by the EVF, the backscreen and the video specs. Warehouse cleaning at Olympus I guess.

Well there is often something better.
Should compare in a similar price range though.
