Le Mans Classic 2018 - Endurance Legends Sounds ! (333 SP, GT ONE, PANOZ GT1, MC12, 550 GT1, DBR9..)

- Something totally new at Le Mans Classic this year was the Global Endurance Legends class. So here it is, a small compilation of the best sights and sounds of this group ! Too bad there was only two demonstrations during the weekend... Anyway you'll see some endurance legends like the Bentley Speed 8, Toyota GT ONE, Ferrari 333 SP, some Panoz, a lot of Porsches, of course some GT1 cars etc... I hope it will bring back nice memories for everyone ! Enjoy !

Kinda surprised Toyota brought it, tbh. Awesome car, shoulda won (superior to the still-brilliant V12 LMR in every way, faster on outright pace), but the strangest thing is you can barely hear it. Rather quiet compared to its contemporaries. Audi R8 and Bentley too.

Funny that they have the MC12 on a track that it never raced on. Would have been lovely to see it compete with the Vettes and Astons back in the day
.You beat me to it, Sir. The MC12 didn’t race, but it was going to because there was a rule in place that said any GT1 car from the Blancpain GT1 series could run for 2011. The VitaPhone team must have had a problem as they brought a Aston Martin Db9r to La Sarthe instead.

So fking awesome, this is my favourite group. I'm already impatient to be in 2 years.
Sadly, I saw only one time, what is the best sounding car ever for me, the McLaren F1 GTR. ANd the driver was not really pushing.
The Yellow Ferrari 333sp sounds awesome, but the 550 wins hands down as the best sounding Prancing Horse.
Didn't heard so much the DBR9 ... I hope to see it at the Master Endurance Legends at Dijon-Prenois in october.

Ferrari needs to make a LMP1 (or GTP in the new 2020 rules ) with an updated version of 333SP's V12 coupled to hybrid system.

True ! The Bentley is relatively "flat" and wide , I think that's what makes this impression 🙂

it didn't race with these guys back in the day. these were from 1994 - 2014 boys. the 787B is 1991 = Group C not LMP Era
I have nothing against Toyota GT-One but never the ACO should have accepted it as a GT.
All this mess has started with loophole 911 GT1 and Mercedes CLK/SLK fake GT which finally killed the category !
The best GT ever is the McLaren F1
