More than a year later any insight on what caused this much foam?

      Hi buddy
I think it was down to over feeding , also I don’t have a skimmer back then and that makes a big difference.
However I do tend to get some foam especially in the morning coming out of my shower
I have tried filter floss but it still happens ?

I added 50 liters of K1 media to my filter and my pond is now a bubble bath 🙄. Hopefully it'll go once the media matures

Hi yea the k1 can take around 4 weeks to sink properly you will have a nice roll effect in the bio chamber when it is all working correctly
Have you got a skimmer that will help

Don't mix the chemicals using fingers over the top, it's nasty stuff.

Protein Jiffster, cut down on the food for a couple of days, see if that clears it up. Subscribed :-)

@@jiffsterkoi Hey there, I have never used Wheatgerm anyway, was told by a food nutritionist that it has no nutritional value whatsoever.
NT Labs Medikoi is really good, I used it for about 5 years or so. I use Nishikoi now, cheaper in the long run if you can afford to buy in a big barrel. Try them on a lettuce leaf or wholemeal bread with garlic paste on, the are like piranhas when you feed them that !
