The flashes run may look goofy but the way they explained it was that when he hit a certain speed it wasn't running as much as it's skating along the ground like an ice skater. I know, I know, it's still stupid as HELL 😂

Page 264 of Fall of Reach has John clocking 65mph bit not sustained, and he tore his tendons. Kelly has a much faster sustained speed.

Kelly was the Speed, Linda was the Eagle Eye , Fred was the Braun and Master Chief was the Leader.
Fred had the intuition, perfect right-hand man for Chief
Ummmm not ruin the post with lore… Fred is the actual technical leader of blue team and chief displays much more bruan
Fred also was well known not just for his melee prowess but was also his leadership skills and his marksmanship. 2nd only to Linda and was 1 of 4 others qualified to lead. The others being Kurt, John and Jerome after his reaugmentation.
Chief was technically the best out of all of them. He was fast, not fastest, and he was very strong, not strongest, he was tactically smart, not the most tactical, and he was the best at hand to hand combat. Only few Spartan 2s, and Spartans in general, could fight 8-10 elites at the same time and kill every single one w ease.
I love you can see the normal solders running but the spartan is just so much faster
Cgi might be bad, but their main focus here is to show you speeds spartans can get to while running. Plus the air time to land on the plane so smoothly is solid.
It wasn't the CGI that ruined this show, it was their complete disregard for the established lore.
@@paulyoung3904 Issue is, 343i (whom have heavy handedness with the production of the show + license use) want to make it its own universe within the halo storytelling. Issue being, they do not directly state as such, which still have huge problem with even a year later on reading so much about it, and only just now finding the time to waste watching it because it's free to watch. 😂

@@yeejay6396 "they want to make their own Universe" no they want to ignore the lore and make shit up as they go, thats called fanfiction, and I didnt wait 2 decades to get a high budget fanfiction, and of they wanted their own Universe they shouldn't have used ANY established Characters let alone Master Chief, a Character with certain expectations, such as NOT REMOVING HIS HELMET, its sad that the Mandalorian understood this and Halo can't, even his face reveal was shoddy and had no build up. There is so much wrong with this show that can't be chalked up to "different Universe"
CGI here is actually OK. It's the camera movement that destroys the immersion. I would've added some camera shake into it, and not have it locked to the head of the spartan. I'd also stick it closer to the ground to make the spartan look bigger.

Spartans are incredibly strong, just enhanced by the MJOLNIR. they’re as flexible as marines, have better reaction times, and are essentially just super skilled marines that biologically edited to be the best, then they get a good ole MJOLNIR suit.
You may not be aware, but those buns power that speed!
@@Campbell062780 They are not just enhanced by the mjolnir, 14 year old chief out of armour beat tf out of 4 odsts and killing one of them post augmentation. They can lift 3x their body weight, still have fast reflexes and speed. The mjolnir just enhances the enhancements
@@vitobratta_WL Right, bad wording on my part. MJOLNIR enhances the capabilities of a Spartan wearing it, however even outside the MJOLNIR due to their augmentations, training, and probably more, are still an insanely strong fighting force.

7.8 to 8.0 ft tall for Slightly Tall spaces Marine like the Salamanders.
Primaries Marines Height is generally around mid to high Halo elite Height level.

Halo CE, Halo 2 and Halo 3 and Reach. I liked Halo 4's storyline but couldn't get into the combat mechanics as much as the ones that came before it. If the show wanted to borrow Master Chiefs personality I'd suggest they use Halo 4 Master Chief. The line that Cortana gave to Master Chief pretty much sums him up. "Before this is all over promise me you'll figure out which one of us is the machine".

I love the idea that them running that fast that it doesn't look right, spartan 2 literally defies human nature so I've always thought everything you see them do just slightly hits that uncanny valley
it's like space marines or the Hyperion shrike from the cantos trilogy subconsciously people know something that big that heavy moving that fast of it's own volition shouldn't naturally happen.

To put it into perspective though most spartans are about 7 feet tall and their armor weighs almost a ton, which is insane and due to their genetic engineering are capable of running up to about 80kmh
This is because the Mjolnir Power Armor is Neurally linked to the Spartans mind. So the body doesnt move the suit it's their mind, so it's like a 2nd skin. Their augmentations are meant to be able to handle the suit itself. Then the suit amplifies everything physically and neurally multitude amount of times between the crystal gel layer and the black undersuit.
First the Armor Weight Half ton, not 1 ton
Second 80 KMPH / 50 MPH is Average Running speed of Spartans, In novel there are 3 to 5 feats where they run around 130 KMPH / 80 MPH Speeds.

In Halo 5 Start, spartan 4 Fire team Osiris was running at speeds around 80 mph
In Legacy of Onyx spartan 3 ton was able to outrun warthog(79 mph) that was trying to catch him on clear road.
In one comic Linda is able to catch up to A ghost(82 mph)
& there is 2 more with unsure but likely +70 mph speeds.

She is actually running pretty good but a robotic look might come from the armor they have equipped as it supports them in certain areas or ways that makes them be very straight for the ideal sprint for maximum speed. Also like in spartan 2s and not sure if other spartan programs they are linked to their armors from their head spinal area. So they are using their mind to get the fastest response being connected to the suit. It takes lots of training to not kill yourself while on the suit. Lol

Being second best at everything is much more dangerous and powerful than being the best at one thing. He's like a machine, basically has no weaknesses in his combat effectiveness. And his machine like personality makes him "hyper lethal" because he doesn't have any of the same emotional hangups the other Spartans have
