Yeah, I am two meters tall. Being long and heavy noodle in moving vehicle causes you to get more inertia - which in result makes it diffcult to keep position. When I was younger and had weak muscles I was suffering in a buses.

+Khachi I just want to point out that unless you take lessons specifically for piano, that's not what you generally learn to play. Schools generally only have very basic synthesizers and what you learn isn't playing the piano. Have you ever needed to use a pedal when playing at school or having to think about the pressure you press the keys? You just learn to take accords on a keyboard, not actually playing the piano. Unrelated to what I wrote above, I didn't play the recorder in school, but it was required when my older sister was in school. Also, recorders aren't hideous. If one learns it properly it's a lovely instrument, just like any other.
I once played the recorder, but when they found out that I played most instruments (like guitar, bass, drums, piano, saxophone, violin, cello, harp, ukelele, and etc.), sing, and dance, they told me that I can continue doing what I'm good at and can stop playing that annoying instrument

I can relate, I'm a girl and 1,58cm (around juns chest haha) but I got to that size when I was 12 or 13 so everyone always thought I was way older! :( I'm German and when you go a shop or a butcher it's not unusual for the children to get free candy or a little sausage or something. But I rarely got any. Childhood ruined.

that's still short in Japan most girls i knew there were around 5'2"-5'4" and sometimes the occasional 5" anything below 5" is short in Japan for a girl ;w; i'm like 166 cm so they think i'm tall? XD
You could try the UK, lol. I'm 4'8" and felt oddly at home in Scotland. No one was terribly tall. My fellow classmates and instructor, however, stood out being around 5'11"+.. Very few Scots I met were as tall as them. My friend in Cebu also told me she knows many girls that are around my height.

You see as doctors say, milk or calcium is good for strong and healthy bones, but calcium effect the Metaphysis too. The metaphysis you see is the end of the bone that's resposible for making the bone tall, and here is how it works. In children the metaphysis is just a Cartilage , it's soft and it break the tip of the bone and calcium build the broken bone around it, and it keep doing that until the metaphysis become hard and solid when you reach 18-21. The main problem is that too much calcium make the metaphysis hardening faster than usual. And when it becomes hard, it will stop growing. So the solution is to make balance between calcium and protein, why? Because calcium is good for bones but bad for metaphysis. And protien is good for metaphysis but with no enough calcium, the bones will be tall but weak. But still 157 cm is amazing for a lady 😁.
Japanese have caught up with the West in height. Went there 2 years ago. Stand approx 6 ft. Saw many japanese my height or taller. And Most buildings and furnitures are designed for all sizes to fit. You should be fine.
I'm 6'2" or 188cm. I'm very large build and always have been. Cant find clothing ever. As a kid was always looked at as a bully to other kids, and I hate the idea of hurting others. It always sucked. There are some benefits but not many.

essennagerry i've known someone who was 195 cm when he was 13, so 175 cm at the age of twelve doesn't surprise me. i also was about that tall when i was that age. i'm from west europe though. for a japanese guy 175 cm is indeed very tall at that age
essennagerry I was 1.73cm at the age of 11. By the time I was 12 I was already 1.80cm, and I couldn't really fit the desks in school. Now I'm almost 17 and I'm standing at 1.87cm. But I pretty much stopped growing at 14. I didn't really grow since then. It's subjective, there are plenty of people who reach their maximum height in their 20s, and others just have their growth spurts in the early purberty, just like me. I'm italian by the way.

I understand your pain, Jun. I am 202 CM. When I lived in Japan, I had to have all my clothes tailor made. I was working at SMAPPA! in Kabukicho at the time, so it was sort of a good thing. But my house was so small, I was always hitting my head on the door frames. And even though my house had a shower and bath, I could not fit in there. I always had to go to an sento. Though I did go, once a week to a nice Onsen
+Cat My head knows that I'm around 203 cm (6.7 ft.). I haven't been spared from headaches here in Finland. Can't even sit in buses without killing my knees on every ride. Still proud of my height, though! :)

Edit (2-10-20): I grew ABOUT 10 cms (so perhaps 8/9). Don't really measure it, I use tiles to do it. As to how, I uh, drink milk, and eat a lot (yet I'm still skinny :'< ). I think I was 151-ish and now 159-ish

I'm not tall at all, I'm actually the shortest (besides my half sister) in my family, however, I've had my fair share of awkward hugs. When tall people want to hug me, my face is always in their chest or reaching for their shoulder and for whatever reason, I always get the awkward side hugs or last minute turn and try to hug before running to your class. In my school, their are a lot of tall people (mostly boys) and being 5'3 doesn't really help😂 but oh man I would hate for me to have a face full of crotch tho😂😂😂

You answered yourself, genetic reasons.
But still that's not all.
You mentioned that you drank a lot of milk in your childhood, that's good, but possibly that's the main problem.
You see as doctors say, milk or calcium is good for strong and healthy bones, but calcium effect the Metaphysis too.
The metaphysis you see is the end of the bone that's resposible for making the bone tall, and here is how it works.
In children the metaphysis is just a Cartilage , it's soft and it break the tip of the bone and calcium build the broken bone around it, and it keep doing that until the metaphysis become hard and solid when you reach 18-21.
The main problem is that too much calcium make the metaphysis hardening faster than usual. And when it becomes hard, it will stop growing.
So the solution is to make balance between calcium and protein, why?
Because calcium is good for bones but bad for metaphysis.
And protien is good for metaphysis but with no enough calcium, the bones will be tall but weak.
But still 157 cm is amazing for a lady 😁.
Japanese have caught up with the West in height. Went there 2 years ago. Stand approx 6 ft. Saw many japanese my height or taller. And Most buildings and furnitures are designed for all sizes to fit. You should be fine.

I'm 6'2" or 188cm. I'm very large build and always have been. Cant find clothing ever. As a kid was always looked at as a bully to other kids, and I hate the idea of hurting others. It always sucked. There are some benefits but not many.

essennagerry I was 1.73cm at the age of 11. By the time I was 12 I was already 1.80cm, and I couldn't really fit the desks in school. Now I'm almost 17 and I'm standing at 1.87cm. But I pretty much stopped growing at 14. I didn't really grow since then. It's subjective, there are plenty of people who reach their maximum height in their 20s, and others just have their growth spurts in the early purberty, just like me. I'm italian by the way.

I finished the Shōgakkō or elementary school and still the teachers or adults treat me like someone who was older..
after some years they still call me "LuZilla" and some things like that.. it reaches a point where it still hurts you and broke some things at you - but you show them as you don't care..

I was working at SMAPPA! in Kabukicho at the time, so it was sort of a good thing.
But my house was so small, I was always hitting my head on the door frames.
