Couple of days back, I was watching a podcast identifying the problems of Pakistan. I believe everyone can see problems, indentification is important but those people were not coming up with solutions. It is because they lack the skill of critical thinking and problem solving. This video of Muzzamil is the first video I have seen which is identifiying the problems and sharing the best possible solution at best to his knowledge. That's fabulous and these types of people are needed in Pakistan which will lead to problem solving and bright future of Pakistan. Hatts off to you for your contribution. I believe this is education rather than studying useless stuff in schools. This video being an A levels commerce student studying Economics helped me alot in implementing my knowledge practically. Previously, I know all these things explained by muzzamil but this video showed the practicality of these concepts and also changed my style of thinking Thank you Muzzamil.

If some Indians make random, unwarranted comments putting Pakistan down, that is not good at all. But you have in the past made clickbait titles to attract Indians. Separately per capita GDP in India is $2621. In Pakistan it is $1471. The difference is not $400. More relevant to likelihood of bankruptcy is credit rating. India's credit rating is BBB- while Pakistan's is CCC+. The difference is 7 rungs, which is very significant India has not had to approach IMF in last 23 years. Of course even at $2621, India is still a lower middle income country and there is no reason for us to brag. Good luck with your videos. My suggestion: don't clickbait Indians and don't get triggered by them. Stay focused on those that the videos are intended for.
Its not $1471, from imf data mapper website they have not updated it for this year 2024 and it says “ No data” for 2024. Pakistan econony nosedived in 2023 and imf shows data from that year thats why just wait till it gets updated for this year that would shut your mouth up.
@saadwaheed465 Why being so rude? If 2023 was a bad year, then per capita GDP would further decline once data is reported. 2024 has just started. The GDP growth rate estimated by IMF for FY24 is 2% while population is growing at 2.8%. How will per capita GDP increase? In any case, I used the 2023 numbers for India and Pakistan so it was an apples for apples comparison.
@@saadwaheed465 Pakistan's economy is $340 Billion and Population is 250 Million. *So Pakistan's GDP Per Capita is $1400* in 2023-24. India's GDP is 3.75 Trillion and Population is 1.45 Billion. *So India's GDP Per Capita is $2600*
You're amazing bro!! This is the first podcast i heard of yours and I loved it. Well I'm also a business owner who imports laptops and sells them here but nowadays my industry has suffered a lot, so i was thinking the same to change my industry and i wanna make a product that i can export.
This is my first comment on your channel, I have watched your podcasts that attracted my interests, but something about these 9 episodes that whenever I saw on my feed I instantly clicked, they are really informative and interesting to listen to. I do hope you carry on creating these more. Good job Muzamil and the team!
I disagree with some weird comments from our side but an important point, gdp per capita is not the right metric for comparison. It must be PPP per capita, as the buying power is needed to compare the economy’s buying power. For example, one Rupee goes a long way in India compared to equivalent value in Pakistan. It’s the same with China, they are much more prosperous on ground than the numbers suggest. Most commodities and manufactured goods are cheaper in China, it’s similar in India at least for food and consumer goods Let’s take the example of a toothbrush, it will be $3~4 in the US. It’ll be half in India, may be 1/3rd in China but all these transactions are added to gross GDP. It’s the same product but with different valuation. So comparing without buying power is incomplete. I am not going into reforms or social indicators such as education or sanitation or women empowerment as these social commitments also require a lot of govt spending which would suppress gdp numbers as the returns are intangible and mostly go towards human development
bhai kisse samjha rha hai, ye Pakistani hai. inka dimag kam kaam karta hai inn sab mamlo me upar se nawabi kam nhi hoti. Akadh toh itni ki America ke baad yhi super power hai
You are correct..... imported products in India are very costly like iphones, palm oil, chocolates, petrol diesel etc or Heavily Taxed products like alcohol, meat etc because of religious reasons.
@@krunalbansod773 Yes but iPhones are a luxury in India. Meat in India is actually not that expensive. Only big issue is the cooking oil, govt is trying to encourage farmers to grow corn or soybean for vegetable oil. Generally speaking, food is much cheaper in India
As an Indian, I firmly believe that promoting negative comments is never the right approach. However, given your influential position and considerable viewership, I suggest having a more thorough understanding before making any comparisons. Although I am not a subscriber, I have followed your podcasts where, I must point out, many guests displayed limited or no knowledge about India and its functioning, making uninformed comments. Making comments without a complete understanding is not acceptable, especially when your audience is as extensive as it is. While I cannot address all your biased points about India, I'd like to highlight a couple of counterpoints. According to IMF data on GDP per capita, India's figure is twice that of yours, despite our population being 7-8 times larger. Additionally, when it comes to IMF bailouts, India has sought assistance only once in 1991. Considering your youthful appearance, it seems unlikely that you were born before then. Thus, for your entire existence, India has not turned to the IMF, unlike your country. It doesn't require exceptional insight to recognize that there are fundamental issues in every country, including yours. Comparing Pakistan with India loses relevance when the Tata Group of Companies alone holds a higher valuation than the entire nation of Pakistan. I rest my case. Please understand that my intention is not disrespectful, and I hope you take this feedback in a supportive manner.
As an Indian, apologies if some comments from my country hurt ure feelings. ... however as an upcoming u tuber u ll have to learn to disregard troll..... Just see how shah rukh salman modi handle troll.....i guess u ll learn Further if u have put a content nyone can watch it and comment. Thats democratic. U cannot get offended by comments. Now coming to the content.. coal is never a good idea for electricity. None of the fossil fuel is in long term.... Hydro nd nuclearis the way ahead
Pakistan should also invest heavily in rooftop solar as well. A few suburbs of Adelaide alone are good enough to provide for all the power used in South Australia and the remaining is all exported to other states. Pakistan has immense potential for it.
The best solution is RFO power plants can be converted to thar coal because they dont rely on critical temperature boilers(simply speaking you can put anything in them). we have rfo plants all over country too, so grid stabilisation issue is also solved. The thing is hubco has recently started this just a few months back. thar can literally change our electricity prices overnight.
As an Indian, Muzamil, we all know that in our subcontinent, mostly people can Fannekhan (toxic). Here in India, almost 30-40% of people are very toxic; they blindly follow the state narrative and mostly watch biased media channels. Please ignore them. However, there are people who are working really hard to develop India. I admire your work. There are some areas where I can argue, but overall, you are an intelligent person.
"Aapke ache din chal rahe hai, hamare kharaab" lekin inshallah waqt badlega. My man isnt praying for pakistan to do better He is praying for India to do bad or atleast pakistan to be above India. Bro tumhari problem hi yahi hai, India is either your goal post or getting India behind is the goal. Goal is never to get better together or simply form good relations with India. Itni ego even after being such a failed state that podcaster doesnt even live in the country yet is jingoistic enough to make such comments.
Thank you so much for this insightful episode, I've been delaying this because of my schedule, just finished two back to backs. A suggestion is to add more options in stripe, and add PKR as a currency as well.
1. Education is needed. Agree with you there. But focus should not be on degrees. Two gaps need to be addressed: a) skills gap eg Pakistan needs plumbers. electricians, fitters, lathe operators etc. to transition to production based economy; b) Basic literacy which is missing due to insufficient primary schools. India noticed that even a woman with basic literacy is likely to give birth to fewer kids than her illiterate counterpart. Pakistan needs to work on bringing down total fertility rate. 2. There was huge loadshedding in 2009 in Pakistan. So if take or pay contracts were the reason then circular debt should have ended. Access to electricity comes before affordable electricity. If PMLN had not established electricity plants in 2013-17 and loadshedding would have continued to increase, how would you move to a production based economy? In 2013, no foreign company was willing to invest in Pakistan other than Chinese companies, and they were only willing to do so on a take or pay basis. In order to attract FDI, Pakstan will have to reduce terrrorism, improve availability of skills based education and labor, improve ease of doing business, etc. Until then, there are no options other than Chinese companies demanding dollar based take or pay contracts. Reducing transmission and distribution loss (in some cases it is theft and dacoity) through metered readings and coming down heavily on kundas is the only short term approach to reducing circular debt in addition to prioritizing production of electricity from those plants that use cheaper fuel. The 1990s plant with take or pay contracts can now be renegotiated since their investmenrs have already been paId for in last 25 years. 3. India had pulled out of IPI in 2012 itself because the transit cost demanded by Pakistan was found to be unreasonable and Pakistan was unwilling to provide insurance for the pipe infrastructure from terrorism. Zardari signed an Iran Pakistan pipeline agreement in 2013. At the time also, US sanctions existed against iran. So using sanctions as an excuse to not complete the pipeline infrastructure on Pakistani side is just cheating Iran. The real reason is Pakistan's dependency on Saudis and Emaratis for dollar deposits. They prevent Pakistan from completing the pipeline. India has just signed a 10 year contract with Qatar for LNG. It is no longer interested in TAPI. In any case it is the stated policy of Pakistan to not have talks with India unless it reinsttates article 370. Pakistan's relations with Afghanistan are also going down the hill. So TAPI is dead in water. Focus on renewable energy sources like sun and wind. 4. During peak sumner only 26 K megawatts electricity maybe evacuated from power plants, but simultaneously there is also huge load shedding. So why is more electricity not manufactured? There is insufficient distribution capacity to evacuate electricity from plants if they produce more. Investment in distribution capacity is the need of the hour.

At 29:04 you mentioned, if Rupee falls relative to the dollar, and someone sends USD from abroad to Pak, their money will be more valuable. I Disagree with this because when PKR loses value, Prices increase in Pakistan. Just look at Petrol, Real estate, commodity prices after the Rupee downfall You also mentioned that a Free falling Rupee is advantageous as it causes Exports to rise, however in Pakistan when our currency devalued, we did NOT export more. If we did our GDP should have increased which it didn’t! Btw Muzamil I’m not a hater, In fact I think you put out great content. Much love and respect ❤
Muzamil you are right in your resersch for pakistan to grow, but don't you think before you go towards production based economy you need skilled labour in large scale which brings you to education, what do you think kindly comment.
Bro very good work....every where we just see that Pakistan has finished and there is nothing in Pakistan so it creates a kind of disrespect towards our beautiful land. But here we understand that No!things are bad but there are reasons and that can be overcomed and some good things are also going on like Coal in Thar.... ♥️♥️♥️♥️💞
Hi @muzammil Sorry on behalf of some indians who just have got arrogance to showoff some things that they havent achieved in life and try to you know make fun of people or country which is on the way of development and we hope that it will develop bcz not only one country can grow in region everyone should grow and when everyone grows then only our neighborhood would be peaceful and India has to achieve many things in future and still we are on the path and currently we are just 1000 dollars more in per capita then Pakistan in 2024 so we also have to go a long way
Sir, in my opinion, the reason why India is developing so fast is because of people who are focused on working hard and contributing to the development of India. Then you have people like you mentioned who have achieved nothing and are showing off like they are the ones who did something. I believe you are part of the former ❤

Cng was introduced in India in Delhi in 2003 , before metro was build The entire bus fleet was overnight switched to cng and diesel buses were forced out The infrastructure slowly grew , with Nearby cities slowly getting coverage Never saw a day where there was shortage Until recently with electric cars , every single commercial vehicle (trucks, buses , taxi, tempo ) are mandatory cng Then cars were being launched, government has very strict rules about cng kits and companies have launched factory fitted cng The infrastructure also supplies gas to homes now with pipe gas Currently there's research over adding bio gas based cng and hydrogen mixed with cng (H-cng ) I'm surprised at like most things in Pakistan , even cng ends up being a pain in the long run. Right now there are cng based power plants and locomotives running Natural gas is indeed the cleanest fuel

10000 dollar per capita nahi pahuchega
If some Indians make random, unwarranted comments putting Pakistan down, that is not good at all. But you have in the past made clickbait titles to attract Indians.
Separately per capita GDP in India is $2621. In Pakistan it is $1471. The difference is not $400. More relevant to likelihood of bankruptcy is credit rating. India's credit rating is BBB- while Pakistan's is CCC+. The difference is 7 rungs, which is very significant
India has not had to approach IMF in last 23 years.
*So India's GDP Per Capita is $2600*
Clickbait for view and huge $$$
You're amazing bro!!
This is the first podcast i heard of yours and I loved it.
Well I'm also a business owner who imports laptops and sells them here but nowadays my industry has suffered a lot, so i was thinking the same to change my industry and i wanna make a product that i can export.
You answered most of my confusions, thankyou!

Most commodities and manufactured goods are cheaper in China, it’s similar in India at least for food and consumer goods
Let’s take the example of a toothbrush, it will be $3~4 in the US.
Plus India is the 2nd cheapest nation in the world so Indians can live good life with minimum money
bhai kisse samjha rha hai, ye Pakistani hai. inka dimag kam kaam karta hai inn sab mamlo me upar se nawabi kam nhi hoti.
He is incredibly wrong about the GDP per capita figures in the first place. Lol. The difference is huge, in nominal terms and in PPP terms.
Just see how shah rukh salman modi handle troll.....i guess u ll learn
Further if u have put a content nyone can watch it and comment. Thats democratic. U cannot get offended by comments.
Now coming to the content.. coal is never a good idea for electricity. None of the fossil fuel is in long term.... Hydro nd nuclearis the way ahead

really educational , thanks
Pakistan should also invest heavily in rooftop solar as well. A few suburbs of Adelaide alone are good enough to provide for all the power used in South Australia and the remaining is all exported to other states.
Pakistan has immense potential for it.
My sincere suggestion to make a program on Pakistan embassy schools around the world. Happy to discuss with you in more details. Javed AZIZ khan, FCA
Seriously after watching your videos I feel so thankful that i have access to your content. ❤
Wow...This is the first podcast of yours I have gone through....and I am completely impressed with your logic & explanation.
Keep it up Dear Syed ❤
Please upload them on audio platforms too.
Thank you so much, Muzamil. Please continue this. BTW. Congrats on hitting 3 million subscribers.
Wow and wow. Love the way you explained the industrialization and how the local people in Pak can leverage and be competitive.
Pakistani people will never be able to get any leverage or competitive.
Beautifully explained muzammil hats off man🫡
"Aapke ache din chal rahe hai, hamare kharaab" lekin inshallah waqt badlega.
My man isnt praying for pakistan to do better
He is praying for India to do bad or atleast pakistan to be above India.
Bro tumhari problem hi yahi hai, India is either your goal post or getting India behind is the goal.
Goal is never to get better together or simply form good relations with India. Itni ego even after being such a failed state that podcaster doesnt even live in the country yet is jingoistic enough to make such comments.
Negative insaan. Wakt badlega meant pakistan will improve, it never meant India will ruin. Change ur perspective on pakistan
@@InamUlHaq1syed Muzammil zaidi is a lying piece of shit.
As per IMF website GDP per capita gap 1400 vs 2800 hai.. double. 1400 ka gap.
Insane person writing paragraph but failed to comprehend a single sentence
bruh
This guy is the rare real material in Pakistan.
Thank you so much for this insightful episode, I've been delaying this because of my schedule, just finished two back to backs.
A suggestion is to add more options in stripe, and add PKR as a currency as well.
You are doing great, please keep sharing the business success of people, it inspires and encourages as well.
Better go to Pakistan ..

At 29:04 you mentioned, if Rupee falls relative to the dollar, and someone sends USD from abroad to Pak, their money will be more valuable. I Disagree with this because when PKR loses value, Prices increase in Pakistan. Just look at Petrol, Real estate, commodity prices after the Rupee downfall
You also mentioned that a Free falling Rupee is advantageous as it causes Exports to rise, however in Pakistan when our currency devalued, we did NOT export more.
♥️♥️♥️♥️💞
Well done bro keep it up we want such thinking minds to uplift Pakistan..
Jazakallah khair sir. Thank you so much for this informational video, keep making more of these. We will all support to the best as we can. I share your videos on what'sapp and I like each and every video. Hopefully every viewer does the same, especially if you're Pakistani.

Cng was introduced in India in Delhi in 2003 , before metro was build
The entire bus fleet was overnight switched to cng and diesel buses were forced out
The infrastructure slowly grew , with Nearby cities slowly getting coverage
Never saw a day where there was shortage
Until recently with electric cars , every single commercial vehicle (trucks, buses , taxi, tempo ) are mandatory cng
Then cars were being launched, government has very strict rules about cng kits and companies have launched factory fitted cng
The infrastructure also supplies gas to homes now with pipe gas
Currently there's research over adding bio gas based cng and hydrogen mixed with cng (H-cng )
I'm surprised at like most things in Pakistan , even cng ends up being a pain in the long run.
Right now there are cng based power plants and locomotives running
Natural gas is indeed the cleanest fuel
I am From India, and i accept your comment about Arrogance.
You are right.
When we become 3rd Largest economy in 2028, then we'll become Arrogant.
For now, we will keep it aside

I didn' t understood what do you meant by capacity.....
loving dil ki baat but i want podcasts as well
Does that means propagating solar systems will cause decline in demand of electricity and that in turn will cause increase in price of electricity??
@14:27
yes, because fixed capacity payments for plants are due irrespective of cheaper modern energy sources being available. quite a mess.
