Effie really don’t want to do the program I’m convinced! This the second time she gave up that program for cane ! I’m like atp you don’t want it girl and it’s ok
I feel like Diana will also make an appearance with Tariq in force, she literally has none of her core family left, her parents are gone, Cane is on the run, and Dru is moving away, it’s almost like she doesn’t have anything else to lose.
Training Day is based on the LAPD-Rampart Division. I’m actually from Los Angeles. The police do NOT tell on each other. And the ones that do, they end up on the breaking news. Nico and Carter would’ve never happened in real life.
I was highly disappointed with this series finale, everything was very predictable except for Anya's death, But the rest of the episode felt rushed and bland 😤😤😤
My thoughts on the finale: (1) Effie actually loves Cane. Even if it's that young puppy love, she loves him and he knows it which is why he teared up when she gave him the money. Remember he also paid her tuition previously so this was almost like a full circle moment for them. He wouldn't have wanted her to come with him being most wanted now and he knows she has an actual future. Those two were my favorites when together on screen. (2) Diana wasn't built for this life before but I think after getting assaulted, losing her baby, her mother, and then catching a body (Anya) she is motivated now more than ever to keep her family's legacy alive. The scene when she was remembering their dinner was showing how she's lonely now. The only person still standing at the dinner table is her. She's one to watch out for in future iterations. I predicted she was gonna probably kill Noma's daughter to make her feel the pain of losing a child, something she knows too well, as revenge. (3) Brayden grew up watching a lot of high functioning drug addicts so he doesn't think about addiction the same way as Tariq who now sees him as a loser. Brayden doesn't get it and he may spiral into some bad habits again. It's funny cuz remember Tommy had a drug problem too but Ghost didn't really check Tommy until it was too late and Tommy was tryna kill him. Tariq is checking Brayden early so Brayden may stay in line like a dog on a leash. (4) I think Dru is going to Paris and gone for good. He had daddy issues and the scene when we saw Monet pull him outta art school to learn the business as a kid alludes to him now being able to live his dream. I don't think he'll be back, and if he does come back it'll just be for a cameo or to reel Diana back in once she goes too far. Cuz she's the one with the most to prove now and those are usually the most dangerous people, the same way he was when trying to prove himself and crossing his own family for his own pride. (5) As much as I don't like Tariq, he's learning from his dad's mistakes of being emotionally attached to people and trusting them too much. He's keeping firm boundaries so his business can run. It'll have to be someone like Diana to oppose him and show that he still has emotional attachments because of their history. I don't think Noma's brother is a threat to Tariq as long as the money keeps coming in. Also, I definitely think it was Tommy calling Tariq. It just makes the most sense for suspense. Excited for what's next. I agree with your review, a 7/10! 💯✌🏾
Diana got on my nerves after she took out Anya. I was like “you’re dumb” she can’t ever stick to the plan 🙄. I understand now why Drew was always the go to when it came to handling the more complicated situations in the drug game. He had more sense than Cain and Diana.
This show was to show us how much we really are like our parents no matter how much we try to escape it. Tariq becoming the drug dealer/king pin like James. Diana is about to become the matriarch of her family, replacing Monte. And Effie puts men over everything, like her mother. Now I’m a die hard Ghost is dead believer, but I really wanted to hear “What’s up lil nigga” when Tariq answered the phone and that would have ended it perfectly.
This show makes no sense cause I am still in disbelief that Tariq has overcome all of these big wig drug dealers all these season and I still stand by it that they should have built him up better in the game but like you Ashley I watched the Wire and know good writing and mess. But it is what it is.
They tried to wrap up some of the storylines but still left us hanging. The Tate spinoff could happen now that Carter was arrested for his brother’s murder and maybe then we can find out about Carter’s background and how his wife died.
Hold on. Compliments to the artist! We got another new background!! I’ve been watching since before your locs fell onto your shoulders. Now look at them!! Ashley just grew up in front of us.. 😌🥰🥰
Ashley this finale was trash 🗑️ Tariq ain't nothin compared to Ghost and what ever happened with Tate??? SMH Doubt I'll be watching the spinoff they setting up for cuz the writing been too disappointing 😮💨 Love me some Woody McCain and hope he end up getting more roles.
I think effie fell in love with cane and cane fell in love with her. She did that cuz cane had her back despite his flaws. Remember he paid her tuition. He was a good dude but effie was being stubborn and she still was confused about tariq. Now she realized her and tariq is over and she just i believe dont know when someone really loves her. But i do believe cane fell in love with effie despite the things that happened
EFFIE DEFINITELY FELL IN LOVE WITH CANE & CANE DEFINITELY FELL IN LOVE WITH EFFIE... THEY HAVE A LOT IN COMMON. EFFIE LITERALLY GAVE UP HER WAY OUT OF THE GAME FOR CANE. HER ENGINEERING CAREER...OH WOW... SMH.!!.
@desireedebarros1395 yeap and unlike how she did tariq from the jump with her shady shit. She never did cane that way. Matter fact she was most of the time solid with him. Maybe at first it wad about taking her from tariq but I think once he start talking to her more he began to love her. Something he didn't understand because of the family he came from that wasn't built off love only loyalty. And effie she didn't understand love because her own mother never given her love or loyalty just what was shown 2 episodes ago. So it's like two fucked up people in love but nor realizing it or knowing what it is. The only thing I will say is cane didn't feel loved or appreciated because he had to feel he had to go to great lengths just to have some kind of respect which was to marry noma. I wished he used his brain after seeing what she did to obi without a blink of a eye or thought. That was her right hand and honestly damn near close like her brother. She went downhill after that. Cane should know if she did that to him what makes him any different, she snaked her own daughters father.
For the first time in almost ten years I nearly shed a tear at Anya's death. Diana really was out of pocket for that one. Probably her most savage thing in the entire franchise.
No, Diana did the right thing! Equal bodies. It actually made it better. I wish Kane didn’t kill noma and she had to live her life suffering with the loss of her daughter just like they had to deal with the loss of their mother. It was completely in pocket!
@@illegallygorguz I actually agree with this. It was a chess move but unfortunately Anya was collateral damage but Diana knew that doing that would make Noma want revenge
Hi Ashley, your background is "beautiful"!! This series finale was about a 7 out of 10 for me. I agree with you regarding Tariiq making an appearance in "Force" that seems to support how it all ended. I would love to see what the future holds for each of the remaining characters.
Good morning Ashley and everyone. Hoping everyone is doing good today 😊 Thank you Ashley for all you do. I can't watch any series without your reviews to encourage me to watch 😊

The season finale was the best part because it’s over lol. This was the only good episode to me as the rest made no sense and I couldn’t quite follow the plot.
I don’t hold grudges but I for doggone sure wouldn’t have given that money for me to get outta that mess! Maybe a pamphlet or brochure to an underground place& best wishes 😭
I feel like they decided to end the show halfway through filming, and was like we ain’t doing no re writing for closure which is why there are so many questions. The cast didn’t know of the ending , except for Michael
Im sorry Monet dying is more so on her and Drew than Cane ....This all started when Monet and company tried to steal Nomas shipment and got caught by Carter....then Drew was the one who flipped on Noma and gave her up....Cane knew all of this and despite him not really dealing with the family like that he STILL protected them and said nothing instead lied to Noma and said it was all on Zion...And even when giving the oppurtunity to save himself he STILL chose Monet despite alllll that she had done....Granted Cane dumb arse had no busniess marrying Noma but honestly it would not have mattered Noma was after Monet for snitching Cane or no Cane she wasnt gonna let that go she was gonna take her out regardless....LOVE the new background!!!
I agreeeee. Up until the end when they showed up LATE and Monet was dead. 3 of them vs noma and her remaining dude could have made all of the difference
I thought the finale was cute for what it was. I wished it was 1 more season to finished the story. I was hoping to see Carter taken out by Rashad or Nico (his partner). I wasn’t expecting that Anya scene.
I dont understand why Kane couldnt get some money from Diana/Drew. They didn't have a stash house or something? I so wish they would've gotten rid of Diana last season. Now she wants to stay in the drug game 🤔
Exactly 😭 also why did they keep returning to their home when everyone knows where they live? No safehouse, no stash house, Diana has been in and out this whole show up until wanting to leave because of the baby. She was having a damn breakdown about killing the cop just to have two bodies within 3 episodes, now her heart I guess has suddenly turned cold? Lol I dont buy it and Diana is not a good actress to me 😂
I mean the series finale wasn’t perfect but at least it wasn’t like cliffhangers like “Hit The Floor” or “Star” and I knew there would be some type of collaboration coming especially since Force is gonna end this season. I bet that Tariq will show up towards the end of Force. Now I heard a rumor that they were making a London show. Since Cane was still legally married to Noma does he inherit all her businesses and is that where he went since he had to leave town? And is this the last we will see of Dirty Diana because she look like she wants to become the new Monet
what kind of witness protection when tarqiue visits her whenever he likes . i cant stand those two cops especially that one with that awful accent. hope not to see them in powerforce
Ashley I was waiting to see your review and get your take on it. For me it was so disappointing, somewhat predictable and surprising at the same time. I wanted Cane to be the one to take out Noma I really wanted Tate to take out Carter even though the hype around O’Dog coming to avenge his brothers death made me feel it wasn’t gonna happen I didn’t see it for ghost coming back either. Now I’m interested to see are any of these storylines going to carry over into another series? All the hype around this last episode was just that mostly HYPE!!!!
Effie was an idiot to give him her money. People saying because she loved him. I said well he didn't love her because he took her money. He didn't even ask her to go with him.
Was an okay finale I knew Effie wasn’t gonna get away but I’m confused why she’s back in the business with Tariq and Brayden. I thought she wanted out Also I thought Tariq and Brayden would’ve graduated by now. What year are they even in? I was kinda disappointed that he wanted to remain a drug dealer as well like damn no life goals? Nothing? What’s the point of continuing school then? I’m tired of him trying to prove he’s not like his father too when he is. I really liked cane the last two episodes but I really thought he would’ve taken over Noma’s business. I think I would’ve liked that better than him on the run. Also, the way he killed Noma was anticlimactic. Anya getting killed tho, was a shock. I definitely didn’t see it coming. I don’t mind detective Carter’s ending but we never really learned about his wife or what happened . Maybe it’s not important but it came up a lot so I was confused about his motivations. I still would’ve like if Rashad Tate came back and killed him . That would’ve been great.
I really wanted Tate to make an appearance and handle Carter 😢
I swore he was!! Smh
Man I thought he was going to show up in that circle too!
I was waiting on HIM to walk out.....and here comes detective Nikko!
Me tooooooo
I most definitely thought Tariq was going to let Tate know how his brother died and have Tate handle Carter and that video for him!!
The series finale felt like a prequel for a new one!
Right! I think Cane is gonna get a spin off.

I thought Brayden was going to find Carter's dead wife in Carter's home.
I did too... .. .

I think Noma brother is the one who really runs the show. Noma just does what she wants
You know I did say the same thing, that noma was acting her ass off in that death scene
Effie made me so mad! That was her way out. Kane not worth it at all

Lol I dont buy it and Diana is not a good actress to me 😂
Seeing your mama dead would change anybody for better or worse. IDK why people feel it was out of nowhere?
I really like Diana and you really can’t STAND her 😂
I mean the series finale wasn’t perfect but at least it wasn’t like cliffhangers like “Hit The Floor” or “Star” and I knew there would be some type of collaboration coming especially since Force is gonna end this season.
James Larosa said if hit the floor gotten a 5th season Zero Asha and sloane would’ve came back but low ratings got that show cancelled
what kind of witness protection when tarqiue visits her whenever he likes . i cant stand those two cops especially that one with that awful accent. hope not to see them in powerforce
The writes said they did they best because they was on strike that’s why the season was all over the place
I agree they did the best under the circumstances i enjoyed it
The episode was corny after. They could've put this on last week for a 1.5 hr ep.
This was so dope I loved it!!
Carter had no reason to be in the series. I wanted action, not dialogue to much talking .They could keep this series finale.
So.... Diana the new Monet?? I was really waiting on Tate to come out! What will they do with Cane??
Me too, I thought Tate was gonna come out too! I believe Dianna is the new Monet
Death Penalty for Tate
Too many loose ends for it to be END!! We got introduced to a lot of new people and nothing came of it
Name one lose end?
Effie was an idiot to give him her money. People saying because she loved him. I said well he didn't love her because he took her money. He didn't even ask her to go with him.
I saw it more as returning the favor. Remember when Cane paid for her tuition so I thought that’s why she gave him the money..
@@marvaaba3929I agree 👍
He cares he doesn’t wanna risk her life leaving with him be serious right now 🙄
Tommy is who he was talking to? Smh I wasn’t even sure
Me too like why would Tommy call Riq and he doesn’t even like riq after what he did and why would Tommy need Riq in the first place?
Was an okay finale
I knew Effie wasn’t gonna get away but I’m confused why she’s back in the business with Tariq and Brayden. I thought she wanted out
Also I thought Tariq and Brayden would’ve graduated by now.
I like Monet too, but I knew she was go be 💀
I enjoyed power a lot . it worked for me as usual. we smoking on that Anya pack and we smoking on that noma pack
