And, finally, I recommend another spanish rock song that for me is a lesson in how a song grows, grows and grows as musical arrangements are added, until they end up building it completely. Stevie Nicks is also singing on certain parts…the “stop” is her…but due to contractual issues she wasn’t “allowed “ to be on the song but was anyway and Tom just kept it quiet….and Tom wrote Stop Dragging my Heart Around for her
I actually was an original employee of MTv (Manager of Finance) and the reason why they do not make videos like this anymore is because they are no longer profitable to make. A video like that costs a lot in production expenses and the royalties due to digital streaming are so little that you can NEVER make your money back after paying for the video. It is a sad thing. Digital streaming has killed the video star.
I loved the song! I do believe the video takes away from the way the song impacts on its own. But of course, I'm relating to how it made me feel while listening to it on the radio back in the day.

The song is not as great as the video. His music is great, and this one is catchy, but not his greatest. The video was made for the song at a time when MTV and video dance parties and megascreens were in all the bars. It was a video revolution. Also Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics is the caterpillar. The Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams” with Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox is another great one to east to.
