Strangely enough on a rainy day I actually enjoy putting on comfy clothes, putting on some music and getting stuck in. Makes me feel happy and relaxed when I'm done

HI! We ordered a new leather sectional for our living room....and we're still waiting on it. Ordered in April...supposed to be here in November. It's taking forever!! But we are excited to get it :)
Great tips Renee and you did great for a 'spit & shine' kinda of clean up. I also love to wash the throw blankets in the wash to keep them smelling fresh, clean & fluffy. About once a month, I throw the pillows & cushions on the dryer and run them on a 20 min. mild cycle with fabric softener sheet to remove dust, make them smell nice and remove static.
Starting to watch older videos that I haven’t seen. A couple questions, just a dry swifter for wiping down your furniture, and also maybe a capful of the diva in a spray bottle? Thanks for theses wonderful videos❤️
If you have people coming and you have some hair on the bathroom floor just wet a paper towel and pick up the hair from the floor. It quickly sticks to the wetted paper towel.
I love this video, it is so sweet to see Pollux follow you around all the time and he is in almost every scene, so cute and love seeing Maxxie too! I absolutely love the idea of Glamorous Wash in the spray bottle, I did buy it after seeing it in your videos and love it smells so good!
Renee, I love how you have organized your beautiful kitchen. You have so much room. I’m sure you’ll continue to enjoy your kitchen for a very long time! I love your recipe books. How wonderful that you have been doing this for so long!! Your passion for sure. Thank you so much for sharing your blessed life with all of us. ❤️
Love this philosophy for winter/summer cleaning. I would just caution to check the cleaning code tags on drapery and upholstery - you do not want to spritz SILK with water...some fabrics WILL water spot. Other than that, I finally ordered the Glamorous Wash in Diva!
I love all of your videos Renee. Thank you for inspiring me with these cleaning tips. I ordered the Diva wash and a mister bottle..such a great idea. I can't imagine having to keep my doxies off the furniture and this will make us all happy!

vinegar and baking soda can clean drains....soda with water and then the vinegar to make it bubble.....pinesol for smells or of course orange peels or lemon peels down garbage disposal.

Hi Renee--how about spraying the fabric lampshades, so when you turn on the light it smells of the Glamorous "Diva" Wash. The scent should come through beautifully as well. I use store brand Swifer cloths(cheaper and just as thick) and was taught to rinse them in the sink and then squeeze them out till almost dry before dusting and I have been doing so for years now. I'll give you a tip to keep your drains and pipe clean and unclogged. Professional plumbers use a product called THRIFT. Its only available at a plumbing supper store or online. Its safe on all pipes. Its a crystal material and you pour about 3 tablespoons in each drain every 2-3 months to keep your drains and pipes from clogging. Another how to from a plumber. If you main drain pipe pipe is clogged you can with use a snake or a pipe balloon and hot water. You can get your hot water directly from the outlet at the bottom of your water heater and attach your hose to it with the pipe balloon at the end. If your end pipe is plastic, insert balloon paste that first joint. If you don't you'll shatter the end pipe from the pressure the balloon creates. If there's no joint at the end then there's no problem.

I like most tips. However, for your viewers who have parrots of any kind, they should be aware that using ANY amount of perfume, whether in dryer sheets, room plug-ins, or colognes on people--all that makes the respiratory system in birds freeze up. They can literally drop dead after Febreze is used on the couch. Many people who get birds are not aware of this. And, I must be part bird too, because one of the ways to detoxify yourself after cancer is all those artificial scents and candles are tossed in the trash. My life is worth more than all the chemical remedies that seem to make life better, but just end up causing more issues down the road. Seriously, you need a disclaimer in front of the video regarding birds or people with compromised immune systems. Otherwise, I, too, love a clean house and I thank you for sharing. Renee, wondering if you’ve tried any special brush (like furminator?) for Pollux’s shedding problems. I also have a heavy shedder for the first time and am curious if any brushing tools might be helpful. Thanks so much 🐶
Hi! I bought a Furminator last spring and used it on him regularly. When he started shedding his winter coat again this spring, I went to grab the Furminator....and it's disappeared!! I kept it in the utility room cabinet with all of our other pet items....and it's gone. Mystery!!

I bought the Glamorous Wash Diva from Amazon as soon as I watched your video. It arrived yesterday so I washed my bathroom rugs to give it a try. This morning my laundry room and bathroom have that pretty fresh scent. It calls for 1/3 of a cup which seems a little too much to me. Next load I will dial that back. Very pretty scent and glad I bought it!

Oh my goodness Renee I looked on Amazon in the UK for that fabric conditioner you love and nearly fainted at the price. They have it on there for £133 (about $188), must be some sort of joke !!!! Either that or they think I’m buying a gallon of it. Ha ha
@@WelcomeToMyCurls Renee, I’m so pleased to report I went back onto Amazon and found the price had been corrected to £24.10 ($28). Much more like what I was expecting. Can’t wait to take delivery. Thank you for your wonderful channel, I’m a big fan.
Renee I can see now why that bottle was so much cheaper than the first time I looked on Amazon, it was tiny (thimble sized) and at £24.00 just too expensive to keep. Nearly got to smell Devine, oh well.
I got the Glamorous Wash Diva yesterday. I washed my sheets and blankets following the directions to the tee. I was so disappointed. My bedding has more residual scent when I use my regular laundry soap. I can not smell it on there at all. I also tried the spray on my upholstered furniture and nothing. It disappears moments after hitting the air. I really expected to be delighted by this product. So sad. What did I do wrong. What a terrible waste of money this was. PS - it pours like water.
That's so strange! I use unscented regular detergent and softener so the Diva Wash is a scent I certainly smell. And I only use half of the recommend portion. Did you shake the bottle before use? I know it says to on the cap. When I spray my couches and curtains, I can smell the scent for several days after. Wondering if you got a faulty batch??
@@WelcomeToMyCurls I suppose it's possible I got a faulty batch. I'm sure I must have shaken it first. I shake everything, even my milk. I can certainly smell it in the bottle but it's not as strong as I expected the actual product to be and I know you said Randy misses it when it's not there. I'm wondering if it's been watered down. I will give it another try but if there's no improvement I will return it to Amazon. Can you tell me, is yours extremely thin, like pouring water?
Good morning! I love waking up to a freshly cleaned house. It starts my day off on the right foot. What about you?

@@WelcomeToMyCurls Renee, I’m so pleased to report I went back onto Amazon and found the price had been corrected to £24.10 ($28). Much more like what I was expecting. Can’t wait to take delivery. Thank you for your wonderful channel, I’m a big fan.
Renee I can see now why that bottle was so much cheaper than the first time I looked on Amazon, it was tiny (thimble sized) and at £24.00 just too expensive to keep. Nearly got to smell Devine, oh well.
Pollux has a thing for chickens - so do I - I know weird

Perhaps in the winter :)
Your husband's shaving cream is a wonderful low toxicity oven cleaner and/or degreaser.
Nice!
Just keep them doggies out of the sink ! :) He He!
When I do a quick clean I remind myself “progress, not perfection”. I am going to buy some of that diva and those plink tablets. 👍
Thats good advice thanks. I find cleaning daunting because I'm a perfectionist. Im gonna say this to myself from now on! 👍
Progress not perfection? LOVE IT. I want that T-shirt! Excellent!
🌸
You call it spit-shine, I call it "hitting the high spots". I cleaned today, but just hit the high spots. Means no deep cleaning.
I like that term!!! I'll just hit the high spots with ya 😊
