I miss hearing all my three dogs played together and the chaos in the house. My 8yo golden retriever sweet boy passed away suddenly 3 months ago, I think about him every single day, still cry from time to time. Cherish the noise and chaos while you still have them. Dogs life span is too short, never feel you have enough time with them. love them rotten every day and don’t leave much regret like I did ❤
So sorry about the loss of your beloved doggie. It is so true, we only have them for a short time ... Someone said, it is the only time when they will break your heart🐾😢🐾
I'm sorry for your loss. I'll tell you a secret (that isn't much of a secret), I still cry sometimes over dogs I lost years ago. But most of the time I remember them with a smile instead of tears. I wish for you that time when you think of your sweet boy mostly with a smile instead of tears.

@@Clovelaurel LOL I hear ya!! When I was her age i did run a lot like doing what married women do as in my case i took care of the house worked out side of the house cooked cleaned just like renee does to, but iam 67 and i cannot do that anymore. my life is a slower pace now. LOL.

I am sitting here, thinking about how I use to do so much at your age, and kept up a heavy schedule and wish I could go back to that age. I'm 72 and hardly am able to move . . . like yesterday, it took me 8 hours to get my living room cleaned, due to dusting, mopping, wiping down the furniture, getting the cobwebs, vacuum and putting up Christmas decorations. I am so happy for you to get so many things done and report it. You are my inspiration now days, and I am so glad I found your vlogs. Have a great Christmas.

What a treat! I saw a vlogmas video this morning and didn't expect another video and I got into the internet and there was a Renee video waiting for me. Our three dogs play all the time--morning, noon, and night. I don't mind but we have to put the breaks on when it reaches 11:30 pm and they're still going strong (even after a long walk). They'll play until 2 or 3 am if we let them. Rebath was here Monday and Tuesday and redid my bathroom. What a treat it is to take a shower now! I absolutely love it. I'm so glad I had them redo my bathroom. I feel so much more confident now that I'm not having to step into and out of a tub and I've got grab bars if I need them. If you are considering having your bathroom done, I'll join Renee in highly recommending Rebath. They did a fabulous job and the young man who came out to install everything was so nice. He spent some time playing with our dogs (I always think that says a lot about a person, if they like dogs or not) and he happened to be outside when a delivery came and he brought it in for me. Such a nice young man.
I just lost my boy pup in October, cancer, 12 years old. I still have 2 sweet girls and miss our Jimmy so much. They are here a short time so love them lots while you have them:)

We grind our coffee every morning as well. We love Phils coffee! Im not sure if they have locations outside of California, but they do mail order and its so good!!! Lola is so comfortable and fits right in! Thank you Renee!❤❤❤

Girl, you got me so hooked on Diva wash. I typically use it only for blankets and bedding. Last Christmas I bought some small cobalt blue spray bottles and mixed Diva wash and a little water, and made pretty room freshener stocking stuffers for my coworkers. They loved them!
Can't live without Diva detergent! Before a trip, I wash my Pj's, bras, undies, travel pillowcase even my shower cap in it. Makes my suit case smell heavenly!🎅🌲🤶

One thing I do is as I run out of things, I write them on a board that I keep on the refrigerator with a dry erase pen. When I get ready to go to the store, I just write them on a list on a piece that I take with me to the store. But at least you plan your meals for the week. That’s a good idea.
Word to the wise that I learned years ago. DO NOT leave your purse in the cart when unloading groceries into your vehicle!!! It's very easy for someone to steal it when your back is turned. Set it inside the back of your vehicle until you're done.
We heard a story this week about some fellow (probably homeless) trying to access a vacation home. There was a ring camera that caught him on film. Hard to tell if people are actually homeless or temporarily homeless, due to the hurricane. Many are still hurting from that here in western North Carolina.
When I make it my way...I use ricotta. But my Dad asked me to make my Mom's lasagna and she only used cottage cheese...so that's what I'm up to just for him.
My sweet Drake had a yellow yeti bowl. He enjoyed it very much. I’ve kept it as I can use another time maybe. So glad Lola got to enjoy some snow! Fun for most dogs. I was going to ask about how you feed dogs so I’m glad you’ll discuss it another time. Enjoy day. 😊🇺🇸🙏🐾🌲🦌

Hi Renee! Do you give your dogs protein in the morning? With your dogs playing so much and the wonderful walks you give them- protein I think is good. I do give my pups a good protein amount in the am to keep them satiated until dinner. You have the cutest doggies and they are so lucky. Vet approved 😊
@ like a high protein treat. I sometimes give my pups a chunk of boiled chicken or ground turkey patties. I keep them in a container in the fridge. Cook up some once a week and ready for breakfast. Any meat is fine. Sometimes I give them raw ground beef in the am. It’s just what is the easiest sometimes. Renee, Lola hit the dog parent lottery when you guys adopted her! Such a sweet girl!
Oooo gotcha! I feed them a high quality Lamb and Rice meal for breakfast....then for dinner I add more great things to it. But I never thought about adding meat to their breakfast. Perhaps I need to!

I give my pup Pretzel those Nutro treats too, she loves them and they have healthier ingredients than some other treats. She loves the blueberry ones, they smell really good.

I purchased the diva wash after you recommended it. It smells good, but I’m wondering if I’m not using enough. I want my blankets and sheets to smell awesome. I have 3 dogs in my house, and I want to remove all their smells from their blankets. I wash them weekly. Basically, how much diva wash do you use per load?
Ooooo here's the trick to that. Wash the dog's blankets by themselves using this Pet Laundry Detergent (here's the link amzn.to/4ikT7Wv). It will completely remove ALL pet smells. I don't wash dog items in the Diva Wash...I only use it on my bedsheets, blankets and beach towels. I use about 2 capfuls in the laundry along with my regular Tide pod which is unscented. I also use an unscented fabric softener. This gives my bedding the perfect amount of Diva fragrance. If you use scented detergent or fabric softener, it can overwhelm the Diva scent. Hope that helps!

Well, I did it. After a few years of hearing you rave, I finally ordered some of the Diva wash! And I ordered the hotel quality sheets, too! I just put them in the washer and the Diva smell is lovely. It is a copycat of the popular perfume by Theirry Mugler called Angel. Smells just the same. Thanks for the recommendation. As always, you only bring us the best and comfiest and practical items in your videos.
Another great video! Lola and Pollux look like not too distant cousins... wouldn't be surprised if her DNA results reveal some Husky. Would explain why she doesn't mind the cold weather. 😊
It looks like Lola has a dense coat so I’m not surprised she likes the cooler weather. It will be interesting to see if she has any of the Northern breeds in her when you do her DNA. Maybe some Husky would also explain that fluffy tail that curls up. I would be interested to hear about her name. Did she come with the name Lola? I do love it!

We heard a story this week about some fellow (probably homeless) trying to access a vacation home. There was a ring camera that caught him on film. Hard to tell if people are actually homeless or temporarily homeless, due to the hurricane. Many are still hurting from that here in western North Carolina.

When I make it my way...I use ricotta. But my Dad asked me to make my Mom's lasagna and she only used cottage cheese...so that's what I'm up to just for him.
Love to see the snow. We live in Atlanta GA so rarely get to see snow anymore.

I've always used cottage cheese in my lasagna. It's the Betty Crocker recipe.

No struggling with hot wet slippery noodles and they come out perfectly cooked. It short cuts your prep time. You may enjoy them. Have a great day!

Hi Renee! Do you give your dogs protein in the morning? With your dogs playing so much and the wonderful walks you give them- protein I think is good.
I do give my pups a good protein amount in the am to keep them satiated until dinner. You have the cutest doggies and they are so lucky. Vet approved 😊

@ like a high protein treat. I sometimes give my pups a chunk of boiled chicken or ground turkey patties. I keep them in a container in the fridge. Cook up some once a week and ready for breakfast. Any meat is fine. Sometimes I give them raw ground beef in the am. It’s just what is the easiest sometimes. Renee, Lola hit the dog parent lottery when you guys adopted her! Such a sweet girl!
Oooo gotcha! I feed them a high quality Lamb and Rice meal for breakfast....then for dinner I add more great things to it. But I never thought about adding meat to their breakfast. Perhaps I need to!

I give my pup Pretzel those Nutro treats too, she loves them and they have healthier ingredients than some other treats. She loves the blueberry ones, they smell really good.

I purchased the diva wash after you recommended it. It smells good, but I’m wondering if I’m not using enough. I want my blankets and sheets to smell awesome. I have 3 dogs in my house, and I want to remove all their smells from their blankets. I wash them weekly. Basically, how much diva wash do you use per load?
Ooooo here's the trick to that. Wash the dog's blankets by themselves using this Pet Laundry Detergent (here's the link amzn.to/4ikT7Wv). It will completely remove ALL pet smells. I don't wash dog items in the Diva Wash...I only use it on my bedsheets, blankets and beach towels. I use about 2 capfuls in the laundry along with my regular Tide pod which is unscented. I also use an unscented fabric softener. This gives my bedding the perfect amount of Diva fragrance. If you use scented detergent or fabric softener, it can overwhelm the Diva scent. Hope that helps!

Well, I did it. After a few years of hearing you rave, I finally ordered some of the Diva wash! And I ordered the hotel quality sheets, too! I just put them in the washer and the Diva smell is lovely. It is a copycat of the popular perfume by Theirry Mugler called Angel. Smells just the same. Thanks for the recommendation. As always, you only bring us the best and comfiest and practical items in your videos.
