Um small correction. The motto is Per Ardua Ad Astra.... Through adversity to the SKIES. ... Through adversity to the stars is NASAs motto.
I was shocked seeing this, they have seriously downgraded as when I was in we had Harriers and Tornados everywhere.
Such a sad commentary to see a former strong RAF now de-neutered into a force with a serious number deficiency. Hopefully someday the country will realize the monstrous threats from the East and prepare for it.
The RAF Typhoon is actually a swing-role aircraft meaning it can carry multiple ordinances for different missions through changes in orders during any single specific mission meaning it can not only strike deep in to enemy territory bombing targets, using ATG missiles to take out ground targets like SAM sights, radar instillations etc...etc...then it can intercept enemy aircraft as well as dogfight enemy fighters and it's way out to get back to base too.
Further Cutbacks is the thing now.
If U.S are bringing out B21's then finding money to buy a fleet of B2 stealth bombers would be a solid investment. We'd be one of only 3 nations then to have stealth bombers. Waiting time would be minimal as they already exist so we could stock up now. Plus they're clearly better than what the Chinese have.

you defeat the enemy fighter jet but then you have to have 2x.ect. friendly yets 1x there just behind it and the 2nd some behind it so when the enemy performs the cobra pose the 2 the yet use her cannons and then there is a lot of the enemy yet available as a target to shoot it to shreds.

Wow I had no idea that Great Brittan had become that poorly equipped. I did not see any long range bombers, or any real numbers of stealthy aircraft.
You should see what they have done to The Navy too.....The Falklands could never happen again.
