Should have checked the filter for bio-slime if it's been 1.5 years. That stuff clogs rapidly from a good flow to clogged. I have to change filters 2x per year because of that crap. ☹
It is when flames roll out of the combustion chamber. They are supposed to remain INSIDE. The air band typically is set so that the correct mixture of oil spray and combustion air are balanced--often judging by the color of the flame.
So what is the purpose of that original more complex coupler, what is wrong with it? Thanks for creating your videos. I watch and study/learn from All of them.
That boiler is an HB.Smith series 8 boiler, it is put together with rubber gaskets instead of metal push nipples. The gaskets wear through constant hot to cold to hot back and forth, and leak.
ahh that is my old boiler i miss simple to fix boilers not this new weil mclain ultra gas boiler where it is 700 dollars for just a blower motor that died. the motor still worked but something on electronic board was not right, so you have to replace whole dam unit. seems like the biodiesel is making lots more business for you. government is keeping you busy LOL
