That’s some serious waterproofing man!!!! Never seen anything like this done before and can’t believe this vid hasn’t been picked up and shown on JB & Blunty or something or Ken Heron! Absolutely incredible 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I just emailed it to Ken Heron - thought I should check back with you first to make sure you are ok with it 👍😬
Cheers bro! In the build video I fly it in the lake and in the sea, disarm it in the sea let it float re arm and take off. Had to build it belt and braces for it to cope with salt water landings😬👊🙏🏼🤟
@Stevieboy FPV I have a question about tinyhawk 2 freestyle which I know you own too. It's kind of related to this video as last summer I have submerged it fully under water accidentally. All electronics have been coated with special insulator before so it's still flying. But I noticed a weird behavior. On new 2s batteries (xt30 connector) after 4-5 mins of flying the voltage can drop from around 7,2V to 6V and below. All that in a matter of seconds with throttle 50% max. The cells can achieve uneven charge after, like 3,2V and 2,8V sometimes. They always recover to above 3V though. Do you think it might be caused by some electronics defect or the battery are just low quality?
@@Stevieboyfpv No I have not coated the XT30 connectors. And I have disconnected the battery under water (I was told it's the safest way of doing it after drone drowning). And as I stated, it can occur (V drop) on a brand new batteries. I constantly check the voltage during the flight and try to don't put the batteries to the extreme when it comes to the min voltage. Usually the batteries V per cell when they rest after the flight have 3,7-3,8V per cell. What might be the cause of this issue I think is the incorrect readings of current drawn by a flight controller? When connected to Betaflight with battery the app show totally crazy values e.g. if mAh used. Like 1000 mAh per minute. Maybe the voltage reads are off too? Is there a way to calibrate it?
@@rafalk1809 in truth 4-5mins of flying acro is a normal time for flight time and at a certain point the batteries just drop off the cliff and have rubbish performance until it will fall out of the sky. You can charge a battery and then plug the it into the quad and then plug onto betflight go into power and battery and see what its reading and if its accurate and there is option to calibrate there. If you are running two 1s batteries not a 2s with xt30 then one battery could have issues causing the imbalance
@@Stevieboyfpv I'm flying on 2s battery with XT30 connector and balancer cable. Anyway, I'll try to calibrate the voltage readings in Betaflight. Thanks.
Definitely wow 😮

@@Stevieboyfpv I’ve seen the last few minutes dude and couldn’t believe what I was seeing!!!
Gunna watch the whole vid when I get home tonight 👍😃😎
@@bugsy742 thanks man! Its a long vid as I wanted to show full detail of how I did it and my thought processes so it could be replicated 👊🙏🏼🤟
@@Stevieboyfpv you are a legend for showing the whole process dude 🙏🤝👍

Might be a damaged cell. Did you use dielectric grease on the connector for the water protection?

Wow that looked cool. 🤙🏼 did you use worry free fpv?
Used 3 types of product vid coming soon 👍
awesome. what's the build? i wanna build a waterproof quad
Custom build ill be posting the build vid soon 👍
@@Stevieboyfpv thanks, looking forward to watching it
Could this drone be fully submerged in the water, and still be ok?
Thats the plan and hopefully float i will complete my tests in the next few days and if its successful I will post the build vid 🤞👍
