Testing block against the Neurothrope Barrier Shockwave while at a sliver of HP was absolutely Valourous. Thank you for your service, Brother.

Correction you not should try to block Tyranids sniper shot on Higher difficulties. It will stagger you A LOT opening you for a lot of damage. same for Xoans and Neurothropes on Higher diff you can block only one of their green orb attack, it will stagger you opening you for damage. The video creator should mention this otherwise new players gonna get wrong info.

Everything here was tested on Lethal, you can tell by the lack of the enemy indicator at the top of the screen.
As mentioned in the description, you have to block the zoan orbs head on and not have them detonate at your feet.

it won't stagger if you have the "armored advance" perk

@@guess_im_just_here I have never seen anyone use this perk. Its either Emergency countermeasures or Defensive Mastery. Later is Pros choice because on Lethal we get 2 extremis it helps to insta kill 1 extremis. In reality its rare that you will always have full armor to block dmg against sniper or xoans because minoris or the barbed wire tyranids keep chunking away your armor and health. Lmao 🤣 even all the big space marine 2 youTubers or theFirstGuardsmen lethal master never uses this.

No he's right, I use Armored Advance because I let Intimidating Aura deal with mobs and extremis enemies to basically kill themselves and Armor Reinforcement to stay topped up on armor. Plus the perk only requires you HAVE armor instead of being fully armored. I don't tend to watch guides online, the game isn't that hard to figure out.
I cleared all missions on Lethal with this single build before the patch removed Tight Formation. Hell, I've even solo cleared Lethal with bots.
