I think it's a good idea to get feedback for big rules changes before they are implemented into the core game. Part of their motivation for this experiment may be to address the feeling that QP has nothing to distinguish it from Ranked. If QP gets a tempo boost, it may lead to player acknowledgement that it really is actually a casual mode, and as you mention in the video- it's not as bad to get rolled for 7 minutes as it is for 10.
I started playing overwatch when OW2 came out, and the first thing I noticed having played other team MP games before is that, how long does it take to respawn and "walk" to join your teammates in the battle, it's a bit insane how long does it takes to rejoin the game after an elimination.
Without having played it yet, I like the changes for escort and push, as those games go on too long and to be honest, most of the those maps suck. But not so much for control (koth). Those are already 2-3 rapid fire games and I already feel slightly exhausted afterwards.
after playing like 10 games of quicker play, I can say that I enjoy it more than what we used to have. It does feel a _little_ bit too fast, so maybe dial it back a little bit. but I really enjoy how fast the games are, as they used to be able to drag so much
My problem with this if it ends up to be permanent only in QP in the future is it's gonna make me abandon QP forever and only play Comp . For players that play let's say half of their games a season in QP and the other half in Comp , this is gonna give me bad habits from playing QP then going to Comp ,especially in comp for how many fights we can get , the pace we should be playing in , should we hard engage and play very fast or play slow , the ult charge gained is gonna be different cus in QP ur gonna respawn faster meaning u will be back in fight faster and start building that ult quicker , third point in Escort and hybrid is gonna be played different I guess ect . These QP Exclusive rules are gonna build bad habits when u transition to Comp imo .

If the game goes by faster, you will not get more team fights. You will get less. I don't care that the respawn times have also been adjusted. That's not going to somehow increase the time you spend walking back to the fight. You're still going to walk that 40-50 meters to get to the fight.
so poke immediately dies and brawl/dive becomes meta….? how else do you force fights fast on objectives? Lucio bouta be a demon just for the weekend lol
This will make most of the immobile heroes redundant because you wont be able to take enough fights if you don't have mobility. Also, i think they are doing this because they want to reduce the time for comp, so more people play it. Alot of people avoid comp because of how much time it takes to finish a single match.

If this goes well, It would be cool if they could do this every weekend. Ensuring that no one can ever "figure out" the meta
