3D Object scanning using the Xbox Kinect/Skanect (Mac)

A 3D scan of me using the Xbox Kinect and Skanect software on the Mac. This was created using a MacBook Pro 2009 - A model theoretical that this software won't work on. It does, just a bit slower than normal!

Hi! I have a kinect 360, use it on my pc, but i only have access to a mac laptop, similar to yours. How to you get the mac to use the kinect? Are there drivers available for that? There is very little info availble online, and its all 3-5 yearls old.. Thanks!!

So I just got Skanect and am now looking to buy a Kinect 360 sensor. Can I basically just use any 360 sensor that comes with a USB-cable or do
I have to get the Microsoft one? I read somewhere that you have to reprogramm the Microsoft Kinect in order to use it on Mac, is that true? So when I get a 360 + USB-adapter no reprogramming is necessary? Would love to get some advice on this. Thanks!

Andrew- I am using skanect pro and I have a structure sensor attachéd to my iPad Pro. Do you know the best dimension for scanning a full body ? In the bounding box there are options for body but for some reason I can only scan half the body from the torso and up. Any suggestions?

you have to loved, that you did not show the scan equipment you used just went on to the sun set did your thing came out great but didn't show...
