  • A tutorial on making 3-D device schematics of FETs using 2-D materials such as MoS2. You will need thse free softwares - Blender, Vesta.
    Vesta: jp-minerals.or...
    Blender: www.blender.or...
    MoS2 (or other materials as needed) cif files: materialsproje...
    Update: you might need to install an add-on in blender to import pdb files. (eg. Atomic Blender - docs.blender.o...)

    Thanks a lot for the content. Would you kindly show how to do heterostructure?

      @soorajsanjay6853  ปีที่แล้ว

      The MoS2 layer can be simply stacked for simple heterostructures. Is that what you are referring to? Or is it more complicated structures (like lateral or even non-planar heterostructures?)

      @@soorajsanjay6853 hi, thanks a lot for replying to the comment. I mean vertical heterostructures of two different materials, say, BP on top of MoS2 flake with slight bending of BP before heterostructure region.

      @@mdgiusuddin7035 bends are a bit tricky without looking unnatural. Let me try it out.

    Why color of atom changes when I join all together?

    How do you cut the MoS2 into square shape? When i pressed delete, only the parts selected were deleted.

    Thanks for the video.The file format .pdb is not in the import file format list of blender. how it is showing in the software you r using. please reply.

      There's a blender add-on called atomic blender that'll allow you to do that. There are plenty of instructions online on how to install it.

    Thank you so much for that video, it really helped me a lot! Do you know how to change the colour of the atoms and bonds? I want them to be the same as they are in VESTA
