Great tutorial. Thank you I have a question, when I bend graphene with curve modifier, graphene shrinks along the x axis (no longer regular hexagon). Do you know the possible reason for this? If it is ok, can I have the your blend file (I won't use your file anywhere, I just want the file to check the possible error of mine)
Distortion is somewhat common when you're using curves or bending so that might not be unusual. I don't know if I still have the file I used to make this. I also have models of carbon nanotubes that are already freely available. Though those ones aren't animated they might help you troubleshoot. You can find them on gumroad or blendswap for free.
