Great WIP Parade! Don’t feel bad about stopping things you don’t enjoy stitching. I stopped Flea Market Flowers too…there are SO many things to stitch, and just not enough time, so just get rid of what doesn’t still draw you to stitch- that’s what I do, anyway. I love that you are filming in your pretty sewing room & when 2024 ends, I’ll bet you have some new framed FFO’s on the wall behind you for all to enjoy! Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into your wonderful videos….I enjoy every single one!
Thanks for the inspiration to go through WIPs and determine their viability! Sometimes we must admit that while we might really like a design, the stitching on it just isn’t going to happen. Might as well pass it on to someone who will enjoy it!❤
I so love the Anniversaries of the Heart and look forward to seeing more of your progress. LOL Poor Harietta. Good luck with all of your WIP's and I do hope you can finish some in 2024. That is what I would like to do also. And I hope your finger heals quickly.
Great WIP parade! I didnt realize how big Snowballs for sale was! Like your tomato pattern and bag. I am currently working on Every Knitter by October House. My daughter is a knitter and i know she will enjoy it!
Hi Nicola. Happy New Year to you and your hubby and family. Loved your WIP Parade. Love all your project bags and your kits. Your stitching is beautiful.
Don’t give up on the Vintage Housewife… I didn’t like doing the border either, but decided to bite the bullet and get the whole thing done THEN stitch the inside parts. I left the white squares in the border until last and did the darker pink and lighter pink with first, you will get into a rhythm it just takes awhile. I then went back and filled in the white, much easier. I’m convinced you will get all your WIPS completed in 2024 🎉🎉 enjoy your last few days off before returning to work
Great WIP parade and thanks for showing all the lovely project bags. I know what you mean about Glitter Village. I have completed house #1 and just starting to think about house #2 but that fabric is a real beast to work on. I am doing them all individually and going to do them as a flat fold finish to arrange them like a, well, a village whenever I eventually get them done. You should not feel bad at all about calling it quits with a WIP that you just do not want to complete. There are only so many stitching hours and you should stitch something that you love. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers from Canada.
Thank you Nicola - really enjoyed the Parade, kept me company whilst tackling some fully finishing. Feeling fairly smug on the 2nd January - now to tackle one or two more.
Happy New Year ❤ I love many of your WIP and have many same WIP with you ! I think we love many same things 😂 I’ll join you as my own Sal with you on those same WIP and will write to to you 😊
I do love à good WIP parade… and yours was a Great WIP parade!!. I also did Vintage Housewife and struggled on through that border with gritted teeth. I don’t think I would do it again! So glad you have my little pieces of Australia with you in your craft room. Lots of love to you and your family x
Hi, HNY 2024 !! I'm doing the same, WIPS will be done!!!!! Can't wait to see your WIP Parade. I have my coffee, I'm ready. ** Maybe just finish the 2nd elephant and make that into a pillow!!! I need to do a parade of mine and put them into 2 piles. I put a paper gift tag on the zippers of what is in my full fabric bags, written in pencil. Agree make the glitter village house into a pillow. Sometimes it is hard to stitch on sparkly fabrics. Big house & snowman for sure, yet they will be nice to finish.
Lots of great projects. Give yourself some grace on your previous starts - your return to full time work put a dent into your stitching time. Only benefit to getting old is more stitching time ❤
Happy New Year! So much stitching to look forward to. I love the idea of the bowl with British and American flags for June and July. Wondering if you have ever talked about how you make the project bags? I would love to make some. Most of mine are the simple Amazon bags.
Happy New Year to you and your family, thank you for sharing your beautiful projects, I’m also a big fan of Brenda Gervais patterns, she’s one of my favourite designers. May 2024 be filled with love and blessings 🍾❤️
Happy New Year, enjoyed all your videos you took the time to do in December. Great wip parade, love to see all your stitching progress throughout 2024 😊❤
I’m about as far along as you are on Anniversaries of the Heart. Planning to add 2 more months this year. Enjoyed your wip parade. I’ve been watching from the beginning and Love to see you.
Loved all your projects! Not so many, really. And a lot so close to finishing; like you said, you just need about 2 more hours a day strictly for stitching!! I think you should finish up the garden/gnome project like you discussed and make it into a project bag! So cute!!
So many beautiful project to stitch! How will you ever decide which one to work on! And the bags are all wonderful! Well, happy stitching and wishing you a very Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Nicola. Thoroughly enjoyed your WIP Parade. Did you mention an updated version with Aurafil threads for the shine on cross stitch from Bonnie and Camille . If so could you share where I might find it. Cheers Di

Loved your WIP parade! You stitch beautifully! Happy stitching!!
I just started a giggling fit when you said "she's crumpled, she's got no flosses, she's got no legs..." Poor poor Harieta bunny. 😂
