Lovely to see you again. I’m always ready to see Christmas stitching! I absolutely love that abandoned pink Christmas village that you turned into a bag. It makes me want to stitch just a few of them to make a bag like that.

I have started Christmas stitching in preparation for the Jingle Ball. I also am planning on making a trip around the world quilt using fabric I inherited from my mom. The other quilt I am working on is a red and white quilt using half square triangles. I am using the half square triangle paper. I have to get the papers all sewn before my sister comes for a visit. We always sew enough for one quilt but trade half to make it a bit more scrappy. Good luck with your Christmas projects!

I was going to start Winter Rose Manor as a birthday start this month, but then came Stacy Nash's class...& I'm trying to finish last years Jingle Ball pieces , before more appear. I seem to be caught up in all the adorable smalls, the larger samplers sit waiting...something to think about for 2025...you are right ,though, if you commit to starting there is hope one might get it done!

Yes, Christmas is on the go for me, however mostly quilting so far. Making tablerunners and table squares so far plus 2 or 3 quilts.

Lovely to spend some time with you Nicola and see all your beautiful projects. Just this past week I pulled out some Christmas stitching and started working on some projects. You reminded me of some Brenda Gervais patterns I have that I need to go through. Now if I could only stitch faster😂. Bring on the Christmas music and movies.

Yay! Let the christmas stitching begin! I’m working on a Dimensions gingerbread house and recently started Durene Jones’ Merry Christmas design. Seeing all your WTNT christmas/winter designs is tempting me to start one of her designs. They are all so darling. Happy stitching.

On your trip around the world quilt: According to Google you get 640 2.5" squares from a jelly roll. You get 840 from 15 fat quarters. I made that exact quilt using the fat quarter bundle. I think I may have added a few more neutrals. Not positive though. It's a fun quilt and turns out beautifully. Good luck and have fun with it!

Oh, please let’s start Wensleydale! It’s on my list to get started. I received the book as a gift with the templates, but I think I will order the papers too as I really enjoy paper piecing. You are inspiring me to begin sorting through my stash as this is a use what I have project for 2025. You have made me realize that I don’t own enough Christmas’s stitching patterns….🤔

Loved your video as always! You invariably inspire me to get on with my multiple stitching and sewing wips and I particularly liked your sewing box (I have two waiting for their transformation!) I thought the quilt book looked beautiful - my family despair of the number of books I have in my collection but they mean so much to me 😂📚 I would love to see more frequent videos from you and I think the idea of seeing your stash, wips and other sewing projects is great.
