@@thejourneyofwhat oh HI 😄👋 Well I start my year in a Vfx Cinema School named VFX-WORKSHOP. It's special effects everywhere and I love it. I start with all the basics (Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Nuke 🙄🙄) I only made the couple first exercices of the video but I follow currently the course of my school about SideFX. It's really a insight by the pros so I go on with that. I hope you doing well too 👋
Hiii! Its amazing, I was learning last weeks and im so frustrating respect to "correct" way to learn it. Follow tutoriales makes u understand more every day? Cause' people says that just following is not enough and blah blah, first learn"fundamentals" and I so boring about fundamentals(nine between houdini is HIP follow now)
I'm still learning myself but I've heard companies want to see you do your own projects, courses and tutorials are great but they want to see your level of understanding on the software. That being said, rbd sims, explosions, smoke, particles and flip are always a win. Especially when you layer effects!
Amazing progress. I have recently started learning Houdini. Would you mind explaining how to make the color gradient and gradual size decrease from birth to death of particles like in your 7th work?
Hey Alif! There's many ways to do the gradual size decrease but the easiest is this one. Create an attribute wrangle after your pop net then type this "@pscale = 1-@nage;" That should give you the gradual decrease. Then for the gradual color, I created a colour node > Set colour type to ramp from attribute > In the attribute section I put in "age", then that will change the colour of the particles depending on how old they are. Put in whatever colours you want! Hope that helps!
Houdini is usually used for simulations, and blender is more generalist. I use blender for in all my projects, but when I need to simulate something, Houdini is the GOAT
That's really awesome progress. Keep it up Actually I was few months started learning Houdini and got super busy . Probably I will try my 5th attempt of learning Houdini 😅
you learnt more about houdini in a month than was taught by my college professor
LOL
same almost two months in I can barely render stuff ._.
Hi! Great progress, could you please share what is day 21 tutorial?
Hi Sonia, I did that one on my own using the skills I'd learned so unfortunately there was no tutorials for it!
Thank you for including links in the description! Super helpful
That's a really really nice thing to help the newbie (I AM) in the Houdini learning process
@@Leo-sd4ps have u kept learning?

Awesome artist with a sweet tooth perhaps 😂
I want to learn but I hate that it is soooo expensive!!! Any tips?
They have an apprentice version which is free and has pretty much everything you'll need as a beginner, trust me bro it's worth it!
Looks great,
Keep progressing
Thank you! I will!
goosebumps...! ❣ 💕
Thank you!

Hey dude, it's called "threedscans"
@@mkhizeart thank you so much homie . Much appreciated ❤

How much your computer. I cant think of simulation time
how did you learn this?
great job king, thanks for the tutorial links
Awesome! You're welcome.
Did you use code for any of these?
Don't worry, by the time you get to the ones that need code you'll probably already know what to write/what to search!
Great work!!!!!
Any tutorial on day 22 work anyone
What are the basic things we should include in a Houdini fx demoreel?

What's your system specs?
In 30 days challenge anyone can become intermediate user
Not intermediate but you'll know enough to at least not need tutorials so much
@@mkhizeart and how much time is needed to become a junior fx artist please guide me a complete roadmap

hi bro, what are the specs of your computer ?
Amazing progess!
Also, what are your laptop specs?
Is Houdini the top 1 3D software or blender?
They're both useful for different things, apples and oranges you know.
Houdini is usually used for simulations, and blender is more generalist. I use blender for in all my projects, but when I need to simulate something, Houdini is the GOAT
What's your laptop specs?
This is impressive af! Does learning houdini require programming knowledge?
Nope, as you keep learning you'll eventually figure it out!
your pc specs?
Which render engine do you use
That's really awesome progress.
Keep it up
Actually I was few months started learning Houdini and got super busy . Probably I will try my 5th attempt of learning Houdini 😅
Thanks! This was my third time learning it and it finally stuck! So hopefully it sticks when you try it out as well, enjoy!
Can u give me chanal name u learned that 😍😍😍😍

ty so much brother
hey, just wanted to let you know that you made a typo in the title. you put Days instead of Months. cool video tho, cheers
Lol!
😂🤣😂
Did u ever encounter any render problems like slow renders or something?
If yes how did u resolve those issues?
Also very inspiring progress : )
Thank you! And yes I did, mantra is cool but kinda slow, so if I could avoid it I did. In my later renders I used arnold in Maya instead.
@@mkhizeart yeee rendering is the part that worries me the most about houdini ty for replying :)
@@daquevisthethrid1734 No problem, take care!
Зачем говорить неправду? Месяц для Houdini- это ооочень мало
