    Pronouncing the name of El shaddai is not forbbiden in the Torah, what it is forbbiden is to take it in vain. The contraction YAH is it also pronounced Adonai?

    The 4-letter thing, or even the writing out thing creates a problem; whatever substitute you come up with must subsequently not be written out. Believe what you want, keep keeping what you’re keeping, I just think this rule is impractical.

    • @larsenalexanders6644
      @larsenalexanders6644 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's not a problem. It's a problem for people who does not know how to pronounce it. But I as a Nazarene know it. and I will not tell you. Because you are a blasphemer you attack the name of God and calling he's name a problem.
      This is why Early Judeans Change the name of God into Adonai which is Lord. So that people will not misuse he's name for he's name is holy. And it's name describes it's authority.

    The hashem YHWH is not pronounced Adonai and never was....now the substitute adonai/Lord or LORD in all capital letters in English when replacing the original Name YHWH is pronounced as Adonai, a title name or expletive. The two words do not have the same meanings in Hebrew. The practice of substituting the hashem YHWH with the title of Adonai/LORD and on a few occasions Elohim/GOD in all capital letters was never ordained by YHWH or any of his inspired Prophets. It is a God dishonoring tradition invented and instituded soley by imperfect men.
    Sorry. I have no Hebrew keyboard to more accurately type out my explanation.

  • @michelemoneywell5474

    Nowhere in the Torah is the pronunciation of the Tetragrammaton forbidden. But the priests were so worried about violating the 3rd Commandment that they added doctrine. The Talmud is the doctrines of men, not Yahuwah. So, say the name Yahweh or Yahuwah or Yahuah -- you still will be obeying Torah!

    You should have a million views. Those that have a million, introduce too much in one go. Printed letters, hand writing, and it has to be quick. Don't they know we have a limited attention span? And telling students that Hebrew alphabet is "supereasy" is directly misleading. It isn't and it will take time. Slowly does it. Cheers
