I see a young man that will grow into an old man with grace and love for others, understanding all the hurts of being young and learning. I wish you peace in your life and all the understanding and love a good man can have. Your family must be so proud of you!

When she passed and years later it was he that needed care and his greatest fear was a nursing home so I quit my job and of course it was frustrating at times but he loved me from birth and he wasn’t even my blood grandpa but he was the only one I knew and he loved me unconditionally and he also had arthritis that curled his hands and the cleaning was difficult at first because I was his granddaughter and didn’t want him to lose his dignity but we will be together again and I’ll introduce him to your grandma and I’ll tell her how much joy she brought to me ❤

Chris, When it comes to haters, just take one moment and then just say a small prayer for them. These people are obviously in fear and are angry about something in their lives. So just say a quick prayer and then think of your grandmother and be in your happy place. I personally would love to see videos of your grandmother everyday for the next 30 years, the same ones over and over and over!! How can someone get tired of seeing pure joy?!! Warmly, Mrs. J

@JohnJones-gk8ix, I tend to agree with you .. we just never know what someone is going through in their lives that makes them say, or do, ugly things. I try to always remember that when I am faced with that situation; I don't always succeed, but I do try my best to bear that in mind. Someone may be cantankerous for reasons unknown to them at the moment (waking up on the wrong side of the bed) .. or, they might just be a miserable and that's all they want to spread around (misery loves company, as the saying goes). Sadly, being kind does not come naturally for everyone, but you are definitely going down the right road when you say that if you are unhappy with, don't like, or are a miserable person, just walk away. Revel in your bad mood but don't force the same on someone else. No need in spreading hate .. life is hard enough as it is without someone purposely hurting another simply for their own selfish gratification.

My sister passed away last September 2023 and up to now our family is still grieving over her passing. When we get together we like talking about her, memories from childhood and up to when she was already sick. One reason for that is because we want to continuously remember her. We do not want to forget her. It is also part of our grieving process talking about her. So for me you reading devotionals and talking about grandma is my companion during my grieving process. Thank you Christopher Columbus(🥰)!

God is so good and even in my darkest hours I trust he knows best for me and that's why I continue to seek him each day! ❤ and for the negative comment you got stuck on. The way I look at it is we post about our loved one that passed away is to keep their memory alive. The person who made that comment obviously has never suffered such a loss in their life. Chris you keep doing what you need to do to cope with grandma's loss. You are a smart and string young man. Don't let others who need to give negativity to you bring you down!

I am hoping you go on to share your knowledge of joint health with us as this is an issue for us older caregivers. I have prayed for you for a long time and am grateful to God for you. The world needs more Chris-es -young people who care about God and others before themselves. May the Lord bless and keep you and your family as you navigate through…. ❤️🌹🙌🙌🙌🙌🙏

Chris, me, my mom and 3 sisters took care of our grandma as she was dying of cancer. It was the worse thing I ever did and it was the most wonderful things I had the privilege to do. We said everything we wanted to each other. My grandma hated for us to have to care for her but Chris she cared for everyone of us through our lives. I felt a sense of relief when she died. We were there with her when she took her last breath. We had bad days and good days but the most important thing is She knew how much we loved her and I knew how much she loved us. I was with her every day before she became so ill so I felt so lost when she died. I still miss her 20 years later.I thank our Holy Father for the times with my grandma. You are loved Chris.

Same here I didn’t leave my grandma side for 8 weeks and my nephew drowned at 2 years old 3 days before Xmas, I went in and said grandma there’s been a accident u remember little Ryan well he’s not here anymore and he’s waiting for you to help him cross over, within 40 minutes of me leaving my mum ringing says nan died and my aunt has big problems with me telling her it’s okay to go, she hung on I feel to help Ryan. That was 16 years ago, goosebumps thinking about it.

I can’t even watch videos that I recorded of him right now because I still can’t process hearing his voice and stories yet. And I could talk about that man endlessly & I love hearing everything about grandma. I think about her every single Tuesday - “Chooseday” 🥰

My prayers go out for you and your healing. About a year ago, I lost my mom who I took care of as you did your grandma. It has taken me about a year to finally feel almost normal again if that makes sense. It felt as if I was not me or like I was just walking around not knowing what to do or where to go. Sort of like a dream where you are looking down at yourself and not even knowing it is you. Where do you go from here? What does you new day look like? It's as if you are in a dream in a sense. Then one day, I realized, I was finally through that. The pieces were all back together again. It did take me about a year, but I am much older than you are. I hope this makes sense and it may not to anyone except the person going through it. Again, I will be praying for you and your healing.
