      Hi I've already done quite a few videos about how to secure a job as an IMG on the standard pathway. They are a bit old so I might do an update sometime this year.

    Sir. One doubt. So after completing AMC 1 , we need to apply for intern position or apply for RMO campaigns for individual jurisdiction. I already completed my internship in my native country and am working for one year now.
    So what should I apply for ??

      You don't need an internship in Australia if you have already completed one elsewhere.

      @@CareerDoctor thank you so much sir.
      Then since I have been working for about a year after my internship - this would make it PGY2 sir ??
      Also, can you pls make a video regarding the application for RMO campaigns. Their documentations are really confusing, especially the Queensland one.

      Unfortunately, they are all a bit different. So it's difficult to do a video on each one.

    After completing three years of gp training..... For FRACGP shall we have to do more 18 months post training?

      The FRACGP program is a 4 year program (including a 12 month hospital year which is often completed in PGY2)

      To work initially in general practice you generally need several years experience in primary care

      Sorry, my channel is focused on the Australian medical system. I don't know about the rules in Europe.

    Hi Doctor, is it possible for an IMG to apply for internship without clearing AMC Part 1?

    • @CareerDoctor
      @CareerDoctor  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are significant restrictions on IMGs applying for internships which I cover in other videos. If you have already worked, you cannot apply. If you are from a competent authority country you have some limited scope to apply. If you are from a standard pathway country you won't be able to apply without the AMC Part 1. But even then your chances are extremely limited.

      Hello, you can obtain your general registration after completing your AMC Certificate and doing 12 months supervised in Australia. After this you can normally apply for GP Training but are restricted to the rural path as an IMG.
