Thank you so much for this video! Your tumbler is beautiful!! I've been scanning all of the mermaid scale videos as well and I'm going to do what you did but with vinyl (hopefully) lol. Thanks again!
You are so very welcome Linda! I’m so glad you find my videos helpful! Thanks so much for watching and I hope you have fun creating your mermaid tumbler!!! ☺️☺️☺️
I love that idea. I have not yet tried making a mermaid scale or dragon scale tumbler. This tutorial has given me inspiration to try it. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
So happy I found your video, so beautiful. I wanted to ask what is the height of the scales? And what size double sided sticky tape did you use. Thank You can't wait to watch more videos.
Thank you! I believe I made them about 3/4" tall. My tape was 3/4" as well but I want you to be sure and watch my latest mermaid scale tutorial. NO TAPE REQUIRED! Here's a link to that one... and thank so much for watching! th-cam.com/video/RiCgvBFQPAA/w-d-xo.html
Hi there! There isn't an actual mermaid scale image in cricut design space so you'll just need to search for the word "scallop" in images. You will then select the scallop image that you want to use. It's usually just a long skinny strip looking scalloped image and then you will select it and then get it the size you want. Measure the circumference of your cup to determine the length...you might have to weld a few of these together to get the look you want then duplicate it and weld together. Like I mentioned in the video... I was able to fit 10 scalloped images on a sheet of 8.5x11 sheet of cardstock.
Finally! I’ve also watched a number of scales videos & wondered why no one has done this. Great job!
Thank you! I know... it just makes sense..right?!?! lol Thanks for watching!

How do I get the scales all together ? I have a cameo! I want to try this
I’m not exactly sure how the cameo works but in Cricut design space I just group them and weld them together to cut them. I hope that makes sense.
