I just started watching and ran across your site, you are by far..the most creative and your cups are breathtaking! Im really excited about making Christmas gifts using your techniques. Thanks again for the detailed videos...super helpful. Ann
super cute! I am having THE hardest time making one. I have ruined 4 so far. I have no idea what i'm doing wrong!!! THe epoxy is turning the paper a dark color in random spots. I've tried sealing with mod podge on like 2 or 3 of the cups, Ive also tried sealing with a clear spray paint.... I think im gonna give up!!
Where did you get your storage container in the background that you have your supplies in? I say a later with the same one but I could not find where to purchase one from. Also what is the name of it? Thanks in advance😉
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have a question about the epoxy you use, I know you explain about using a thicker epoxy for flood coats, which of the epoxy's you have linked in the description are best for this? The stuff I am using is just not thick enough. Is it the marine epoxy you're using?
OMG let me start by saying that cup is super cute. Now I want to thank you for filming you doing the entire scale portion. I have looked at several tutorials on making these and none have really explained how to cover the cup with the scales. For a someone wanting to learn this method this was very helpful you explained it from well start to finish. My 1st attempt was a disaster and kind of discouraged me from this method. I just have 1 question did your paint dry before you applied the powered mica? Once again thank you.
@@KitchenTumblers I just wanted to let you know I just started a cup with your method and it was so easy. Once again thank you if is coming along really well..
Really, cute and great idea but this is more of dragon scales then mermaid. Mermaids have more of the scale showing and don't overlay like this but other then that its really cute. I'm going to use the same tecnquie to make one that matches my mermaid tail. I also don't think you know the difference in the scales because you said dragon scales in the video at 12:25. The difference is dragon scales lay like yours and less of the scale shows. Where as mermaid scales show more of the scale and don't overlap. They neatly lay side by side.
Super cute! 😍🙌🏻
~faints~ thank you 🙏🏾

+Friskit Biscuit firstly I love your name 😂😂😂 yes, pro marine or faux rizzle is my thick epoxy of choice.
