When you're panning with the camera, can you see if you're able to read your for sale sign in front of your house? Im trying get buy something that can read license plates from aprox that same distance. I have the d1 classics and theyre not clear enough to read them.
I can read the text "FOR SALE" at the top and "HOMELIFE" on the left side. The bitrate is around 2700 kbps, so it isn't ideal for making out finer details at that bitrate. I'm not sure if any of AOSU's cameras offer very high bitrates for maximum clarity, but other brands like Reolink may offer higher bitrates on some of their cameras.
@@DemCrumblies thanks. Ive looked at the eufy s340, but then I came across this video so i think I'll hold of on eufy's... th-cam.com/video/M4QRwpy84tA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-u6GYvA1nX586VF-
@@ziteshbatra4829 Yep, even though it isn't really meant for solar panels, I was able to secure one nut and bolt in very securely and the solar panel stayed in place even on windy days.
Should be zero issues. I tested the AOSU D1 SE, which is the wired version of this in the Winter in Canada when we had a couple Winter storms, no problems.
@@KiDkoLa888 That's great, you'll love it! Only thing you will have to buy is a microSD card. If you plan on running it with 24/7 recording, you can insert up to a 512GB microSD card.
It'll really depend on how far away the camera is from the car, but if it's close enough it should be able to with a 3K lens. If you want to be able to read license plates from a far distance, it might be worth looking into a camera with dual lens, where one of the lens is zoomed in, like the eufy Solocam S340.
I've bought this thing. It's the biggest pos I've even owned. I've tried changing every setting possible to make it work the motion sensor is garbage. Unless you stop in front of the camera it won't record
I have 2 classics, the inly kinda complaint would be the tracking is slow. If someone walks fast by the camera at a closer distance it cant keep up with the person then itll just return to default location, other than that theyve been good.

What’s the mounting bracket that you have used? Can you share a link?
Sure it's this one: geni.us/witimnt (Affiliate Link)
Thanks, did you connect the solar panel on the same?

Can this be used with a amazon echo show?
It should because it shows that it has Alexa support, but I don't own any Alexa devices to personally test it.
Can it handle winter conditions?

I went ahead and purchased the wired one. Thank you.

Hmm weird, how high up is yours mounted and how much is it angled down? Also, is your firmware updated to the latest on it?
@@DemCrumblies 8ft. I've returned and got another one. Still same issue. The d1 classics work pretty good, the max. Junk
How do you put the sd card in cos mine only goes half way

@@sm8202 It might be that you're putting it in the wrong way, try to flip it and insert it, but don't try to jam it in or it will get stuck.
