This video helped me put together mine today! I was a little disappointed bc one bolt came in a different size so I had to go to a hardware store and find a similar bolt. Now it is ready for printing! I am excited!!
Kre8tive Archives 4 weeks. When I placed my order in June it said 15 business days for delivery but it really took about 20 business days. Customer service got right back to me when I emailed them asking about the delay.
So I built a rectangular table for this,do you recommend mounting how you did or the mounting brackets parallel to the long side of the table? I'll mount it the either left or right side
Happy Monday @Jorge Delgado! I would mount it which ever way would be the most stable when you are putting downward force on the press while printing. If the mounting brackets are parallel to the long side of the table it may offer less stability and tip over under your pressure. Hope that helps!
Hi! There could be a few things going wrong. As we will need to see pictures of your press in order to help you out, please give us a call and we can get you in touch with a team member who can walk through your press with you.
just received our Riley Hopkins 4 screen 150 machine and we are unable to move past the first step- mounting the feet to the base. We have the screws and washers and the feet but the hole that they are to screw into, within the base, is just a hole with nothing to allow the screw to secure into. We are clearly missing something- do we need to purchase thread inserts or is there something that’s supposed to be in the base that’s missing? It’s hollow in there which leads me to believe we just need thread inserts that maybe were not installed during initial assembly. Thanks!!
@tidehig999 no, you should not need anything else other than what comes with the press. contact us today and we'll get you pointed in the right direction. 360-576-7188 you can also email us at success@ryonet.com. let's get you taken care of!
@tidehigh999 wanted to follow up again on this. Give us a shout if you haven't already. We would be pumped to get you helped out. email and number are in my other message from a couple days ago.
@@Ryonet hi! Wow ok you guys have great customer service, for you to follow up with me via my TH-cam message!! We actually got squared away. My husband sent in an email Friday evening when we began assembling it and then I messaged here because I was hoping we were just missing something. Turns out though, we got an email response Monday afternoon and we are getting rivnuts sent to us. My husband was able to provide pictures in his email to you all to show that there was just holes with no threading to allow the feet to secure. So we are all set!!!! Thank you SO much. Definitely impressed with you all.
I’m thinking about getting a Riley press and using it in my mom’s garage, but is there any risk to using it in a hot environment? It’s almost summer time so I’m anticipating the garage to be pretty hot without AC / proper ventilation
Hi @Parker Coe! Good question. Not so much for the Riley press or really for the bulk of the items you would use. However, ink, emulsion and some of the cleaning chemicals can be ruined by prolonged heat. So I would be mindful of that. Hope that helps. Let us know what questions you have. THANKS
Who is the artist playing? Sounds like EITS(Explosions in the Sky) or This Will Destroy You..? I’m very interested in buying a press, this one seems legit. And the music is steering me towards your brand over others. Lol.
New to the industry and i could reaalllyy use a video on how the registration bolts are supposed to look and work. Are they sopposed to have this loose fit? The nuts dont lock down completely? Lost. We need more info.
I’m confused on this one. It’s not lining up straight. Off by like a 1/4”. If I tighten up the correction bolt it has too much friction and you have to jam it down. I disassembled and tried again but same thing??
I absolutely hate the screen clamp knobs, the little bolts at the bottom to keep the screen tight are the worst. There has to be a better way than this. I know its a cheap press but dang...
We totally get where you’re coming from. When tightening the screen becomes a chore, it can really slow down your workflow. If these small frustrations are adding up, it might be time to consider an upgrade. Upgrading to a more advanced press can offer you sturdier clamps, smoother adjustments, and overall better build quality. Many of our other presses come with micro-registration features, which can eliminate the need to fuss with the nobs altogether.
@Ryonet that's unfortunate because we got it to save space as we already have several other larger presses and to do simple small one color jobs not to upgrade. I guess you're just forcing people to upgrade out of frustration, that's unfortunate and we will not be buying anymore of your products.
@@Brokenstarz55 I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a frustrating experience with the press. Our intention is never to push anyone into upgrading but to offer tools that fit your needs, whether for small, simple jobs or more complex ones. Thanks for your input! We believe that to offer every press with micros would create a huge cost barrier to entry for beginners. This press is specifically designed for those who are doing single colors, small space printing, live printing, or have a myriad of printing goals.
You should make a how to vid on the best way to register and print a multi color job with this press
Will do!
Awesome!
I agree
.........................................................got our start on a Hopkins......
Just got mines yesterday, I followed this video step by step & figured everything out. Great vid 😉
Glad it helped!

Oh my gosh - so sorry you had that happen! Happy to see you had a quick fix and you are up and running!!!!
ha! same thing happened to me today! I'm off to the hardware store.
I used this to do the whole setup thank you!
Put mine together a few weeks ago. Great press for the price!

put mine together but the bar is now facing down and I can’t pull it up. Nuts to tight? Don’t want to force and have the springs fly everywhere

My understanding is they should have a snug fit to the press arm, and then should be locked down.

What’s the difference with this and the semi pro?
HI Mkjetta. The semi pro is a screen printing package containing the Riley 150. This video is showing how to put the Riley 150 together.
You have micro registration machine 6 pallet 6 station how send in Kuwait
Can you send me this machine to dubai
Can anyone tell me if the heads are upgradable to ones with micro registration? at a later date. Very close to buying this one!!!
Hi Mike - Thats exiting to hear! Unfortunately, the print heads will not be upgradable with micro registration. For that we made the Riley 250.
@@Ryonet awesome. Thanks for the info!
