Thanks! Yes it's just me here, I film, photograph and edit all of the content I put out. Photography/cinematography is something I've always enjoyed as a hobby so it's nice to be able to do it alongside my work 👍🏻
Haha! I did think about filling it with enamel but I wanted the pocket of the logo to remain sharp in the internal corners, so painting the entire thing then sanding the top surface off made the most sense! Thanks for checking it out!
Great work. Can I ask you, which CNC router are you using please? I want to buy one for making Logos wood, aluminum and brass. Can you suggest good one. My budget is around 5000 Euro. Thank you in advance
Yeah I use Fusion 360 for all my modelling and program all the toolpaths in there too. I used to user Inventor and the HSM Works plugin which was so clunky and such a taxing program to use. I’m so glad Autodesk made Fusion 360 into what it is now, so much nicer to use than Inventor ever was! Do you do any cnc work for work in Fusion? Thanks again for watching.
@@RTAFabrication thanks for the reply. Currently I only use Vcarve Pro on my cnc, i'm getting bored with just 2D so I am branching out into Fusion now so I can have more control over my process and have access to better toolpathing. Vcarve is great for some and its quick to use for simpler jobs. I get bored with simple and prefer challenging myself each day to improve. I enjoy design but Vcarve is flat, so Im looking forward to Fusion and the 360 degree environment. Ill work all day and study all night. Any recommendations for Fusion 360 videos or channels that you found more useful or maybe chronological? Again thanks for the reply, keep in touch, keep up the great work with your skills. Look forward to seeing more
@@Poisonous392 No problem Joe. Yeah I’ve used. Vcarve Pro before on my brothers CNC as that’s what he was using. I found it was great for 2D layouts and the nesting feature was great too. Really quick and straightforward workflow for cutting out flat profiles. If you’re looking at branching out in 3D parts then Fusion 360 is definitely the way to go. I’ll be honest I don’t recall coming across a specific channel or resource that had a chronological list of videos. I mainly recall searching more specifically for a task that I wanted to do and within whatever video it was there would be other useful tips surrounding that that I could apply to other tasks. A great resource actually is within the program itself. Hovering your noise over each button provides you with a fairly brief but complete description of what the tool does and how it’s used. I believe there may even be a built in help section to the program that’s more comprehensive. I think just spending time in the program and having a play will help out a lot. Thanks again, I’m going to try to be as active as I can in the comments so I’ll definitely keep in touch. Hopefully I’ll have my next video completed in a week or two. I’m currently doing some tweaks to the cnc machine so when I’ve finished that I can get on with some more content!
@@RTAFabrication Sounds great 👍🏻 i downloaded Fusion last night and have been poking my nose around a different things. Always enjoy a new adventure and setting goals. Thanks for the great reply! Very much appreciated. Looking forward to your next video. Keep in touch. Btw I'm based Canada 🇨🇦 just to give u some info on one place your video and talents are reaching. Cheers
Love that. Great to see craftsmanship like this. Came across this video looking for a steering wheel badge for my R8.
Great job 😊!
Such a great work. I admire Your dedication to details and a culture of work. Beautiful work!
Great to see you take so much pride in your work!
Did you do the video editing as well?

Now that’s attention to detail!! 👌🏼
Thanks Paul, appreciate it!
Very impressive, what you're doing and the video production
Wow everything is perfect
Super great video! How do you position the components exactly when turning them for CNC machining?
Greetings Christian
Are you taking orders? I would like one made for a steering wheel im having made.
That looks great! When he started to paint it I thought "NOOOO" but then I saw the sandpaper come out 😂

super clean video!!🤗🤗 super clean work .
Thanks man! Again, appreciate the support! :)

What cnc machine you using here bro ? I've stumbled onto your channel and your vids are 👌👌👌
Hi Nice Work!
Do You have step 3d model of these logo?
Good job. Taking order ?
Excellent work! I also enjoy the process of making things. For your design, do you use Fusion 360 to design and make gcode for the cnc?

@@Poisonous392 NY CNC has a great tutorial set for fusion360!
Great video 👍🏼
Do you sell these? Id like an S-line one with yellow instead of red.
Consider taking orders? Or where can I make one? 👍🏼🙏🏻
wow!
How difficult is it to remove and replace the badge?
Real easy to swap them out. The original badge just needs some gentle persuasion with a trim removal tool and comes straight out.
