Hi Hannah, I'm a writer in my 30s. I dance for fun now and danced ballet 2-22 even performing with companies. I've watched your channel for years and I find you so inspiration, plus it is a joy to see you grow as a dancer/performer. But this is the first time I've seen you like this. I don't think you've been this full of emotions since you first started thinking of seriously quitting rhythmic gymnastics. I think you might be having early signs of burnout. All of us viewers would be ok if you missed a week, or took a few days off for yourself. Keep doing things that make you happy like church and chilling out with friends. You body is telling you to slow down a bit (ie tummy trouble, sleep issues, not feeling as motivated as usual). Just be careful. I want you to have everything you desire in life, but if you push too hard you could have serious burnout of ballet or get injured due to lack of sleep etc.
I commented similarly on a video before Christmas - this is the kind of thing you don’t see creeping up on you when you’re in it but others can see from the outside.
Thank you so much for all your concern. I have been trying my hardest to find the balance although I do find it tough. The battle between my desire to succeed and improve versus what is physically possible for a human being on a repetitive basis can be like balancing on a tightrope for me. It’s definitely a learning process and one that I am challenging myself to work on. Thank you for your advice 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Not sure if this will help anyone or not, but I always find that when I'm having a hard week where nothing seems to work in class and I've degressed in technique, a week or two after that is when I improve more than I had before, so keep on pushing through, guys! You can make it, I promise. :)
the fact that you can do all that in a week with low motivation... you've given me a boost of inspiration to have more motivation and be more productive :)
Hannah you are doing brilliantly - I just know that you're going to succeed. Eat well, rest well and keep dancing - it's all coming together, so don't be too hard on yourself. You have an incredible work ethic, as well as huge talent, musicality and artistry - you'll do well! I know you will.

We left the UK 18 months ago and are just finding suitable classes here in Luxembourg. My daughter loves watching. Vlogers like the norris nuts and tiana which in my opinion big waste of time. OMG, if you have not seen Princess Tutu, you simply must. It starts a little immature, but that's because there has to be plenty of room for growth.. and let me just say..... the creators did an INCREDIBLE job of researching and taking ballet classes and making references to other works and such. Once you've finished it, you'll have to watch the video with fun facts. It's really complex. The show gets REALLY good about episode 10, and stuff moves quickly because it's only like 26 episodes. I made my husband watch it and now even he is obsessed.

I make myself go to sleep. Waking up refreshed and recharged almost always helps me feel like accomplishing things. Then I deliberately choose what voices of encouragement/motivation I allow myself to focus on. My picks are women and men who do what they do well, live simply, and are true to themselves. Continue to believe what God says about you in His Word, and let His joy be your strength. (My greatest motivation) 💛💛💛😅

Heya! Yes, I now only where merlet. At the beginning of the season I gave Freed a try but found myself getting an injury soon afterwards so went back to my favourite merlet 🙈

I hate it that I have to worry about terrible things in the world. Evil people (especially governments) did a lot of terrible things and now people like me are expected to fix it. I hope there will be a season 2 of "Tiny Pretty Things" (ballet serie) on Netflix, that will surely give me a better mood.
I also think she needs to add protein to her diet. Veganism is not good!! She needs eggs, chicken and red meat. Seriously! Especially if she plans to be a wife and mom one day she needs cholesterol, fat and proteins!!
But even if she were, there are still plenty of plant based sources of fat and protein like nuts ,seeds, avocado, coconut, soy, and plenty of vegan wives and mother's out there so ...

Perhaps in full-on rehearsal or performance weeks it is for the best to taper off a bit of the cross training, additional work on technique etc?
I’m definitely experimenting on how to balance my own training now we have such a full schedule. I think it’s going to take some practice 🙈
