Imagine my surprise when you released this amazing subject. Love your study. Just yesterday Sabbath/Saturday I spent much time on this subject and walked away with "It's all about the shepherds in the field at night" Just confirmation that God has us in the same Spirit of excellence/truth.
You, are absolutely correct. I did the quick math using Zachariah date of when he left for home after completing his priestly duties, probably in May, John was conceived. Mary must have been pregnant three months when Elizabeth gives birth to John the Baptist, probably March...Six months later, Mary gives birth to our Savior, Yeshua, in September. The bible teaches that if we continue to do something that is perceived wrong and in this case, acknowledging and celebrating a pagan holiday that shows no reverence to our Savior, and still do it, is wrong..so, as Christians, I ask my dear brothers and sisters, is this something you want on your conscious. The Word of God tells us to be separated from the world and all of its worldly nuances. Rather than celebrating these pagan holidays, celebrate the blessed Feast Days of God. They should be a joy to us and they will be a joy to the Lord!
Sometime in the new year we will do a video series on the feast. You make a great point that why would we celebrate holidays not given to us by God and neglect holidays that are given to us by God? Even though there is freedom in Christ why would we use freedom in this way? We will bring that point up in that series
I grew up in the Worldwide Church of God. From birth we always celebrated the Feasts of the Lord. We did not celebrate Christmas. During the Feast of Tabernacles our family gave gifts to one another. It is only the last 10 years that my wife and I have looked into the origin of Christmas more thoroughly. I believe that our Lord, though not orchestrating Christmas, has used this time period for people to consider His birth as the Savior of the world. I see Colossians 1:11-17 and Romans 14:4-10 as examples in the scripture that Christians need to show grace to one another and as you say Nelson in your video, it is a personal decision whether we celebrate Christmas or not. I appreciate Mari S comments as well. Thanks for this very in depth video.
The problem with our churches today is that they throw out the baby with the bath water. Yes, these are the Lord's feasts, not just Jewish feasts and we should at the very least acknowledge them. I am having a difficult time keeping the feast of unleaven as it requires removing every item from your house that contains leaven and that is extremely overwhelming to our household , considering we have no other place to store the items...so I am very pleased that you will cover this in the new year. Here is a little breakdown I found on the feast days: God’s seven annual feasts are relevant to both Jew and Gentile today. They show, prophetically, God’s complete plan concerning the coming of the Messiah, the redemption of mankind, judgement and the establishment of the Kingdom of God on earth. The first four feasts have been fulfilled: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost (the birth of the church). The last three feasts (Trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles) relate to the future.
Thank you Brian for your enlightening comment. When our Savior brought me to the knowledge of His feasts days, I was so ready to keep them and to find a local church to partake with them...sadly there was none. So, I fast on those feast days and spend time with the scriptures. When I read Isaiah 60-61; it was difficult to do without crying after every verse! It meant so much to read that chapter during Rosh Hashanah...the feast of trumpets. Let us pray that more of our brethren will come to know these blessed feasts. God will reveal Himself in such a way that their hearts will ache having not known sooner. These feasts are as close to God as we can get!
Thank you for your videos and knowledge brother Nelson. I love all of them and love how you break down prophecy bro. You have taught me a lot on these subjects in the Bible. U are Truly a blessing to all of us brother. Jesus Christ Bless you and your Channel brother Nelson. Joshua
Excellent teaching! I have read several chapters of Joseph Lenard's book online and was fascinated to learn about "Migdal Eder", the tower of the flock. This makes so much sense! God is in the details! And the prophecy in Micah 4:8 sure seems to support this. Your presentation here clarified the issue of when the sacrificial lambs were born (in the spring), so that the tower would be available to Joseph and Mary for Messiah to be born there. Also the fact that the shepherds were in the field at night, as someone below also mentioned. I couldn't reconcile how there could be sacrificial lambs in the field and being born in the tower at the same time, which is what I had thought. Well, they were born in the spring, so it's logical they would be in the field this time of year. And note, the scripture only mentions a "flock" (singular). I recall that Lenard writes that these sacrificial lambs were also wrapped in swaddling cloths (which is why I thought they were being born as the same time as Messiah), because they had to take such special care of them to ensure they were acceptable for sacrifice, no blemishes (or injuries). The angel gave the shepherds two signs, that they would find him 1) wrapped in swaddling cloths and 2) lying in a manger. Thus, they "made haste" to look for him, because they knew right where to go to find him. Does the fact of Yeshua being the "Lamb of God" give us any clues as to the true length of His ministry? I refer back to the sacrifice of Isaac, for which the LORD provided a ram, but Abraham said the LORD would (i.e., future) provide a lamb. There is one teacher who believes that Yeshua's ministry may have actually been about 70 weeks, in other words a little over a year, not 3 1/2 years. He says, "Yeshua was a one-year-old lamb, not a 3 1/2 year old ram." I'd be curious to know how old the sacrificial lambs actually were on average when they were sacrificed in the temple at Passover (perhaps a clue to the length of His ministry?), considering that Passover would occur somewhere between March and the middle of April, as I understand it. In any case, how was the idea of a 3 1/2 year ministry for Yeshua calculated? Could it actually have been less? 3 1/2 years actually seems like a long time to me, especially considering that the religious leaders almost immediately wanted to have Yeshua killed when he started performing miracles. Would His ministry really have been able to last 3 1/2 years? I don't know, but I think it is something else to consider. Have you studied this, Nelson? It would be interesting to see a video teaching on this as well to hear your thoughts. As you said, knowing these things that aren't so clear may not be so important in the scheme of things, but when we love someone we want to know everything about them. Furthermore, there are lots of "traditions" taught that are not Biblical (like, for example, Mt. Sinai being in the Sinai Peninsula!). Merry Christmas, Nelson, and thank you for your ministry! God bless!
Great comments Jeanne. I have seen that idea that Jesus' ministry was only 70 weeks long, but that requires John 6:4 not be biblical and a verse that added to scripture. I think 2.5 years personally.
Another great insightful video Nelson. Thanks for the video, we have alot of biblical mysteries in common lol. Have you done one on pharaoh of exodus? Its something I've studied for many years and would be happy to share notes.
@@NelsonWalters Studying it can be a can of worms lol. I believe Hashepsut was the pharaohs daughter, Moses was in line to be the pharaoh as she had no male children with her husband and half brother thuthmosis ii. Moses leaves during this time, she becomes pharaoh and raises thuthmosis iii until he can rule. The bible places it in 1446 BC. (890th year before the destruction of the Temple in 587 BCE). So it was thuthmosis the 3rd...if egyptian records are right. He had a coregient son that died (unlike the movies he wasn't a baby or even a child but a first born) His second son Ahmenotep the 2nd was away fighting, his first born died too. Thuthmosis body was mangled (said to be by looters in antiquity) and had signs of boils. Ahmenotep never had any military campaigns during his reign. Interesting enough it dates Joshua's conquest starting in 1406. Egypt was silent between 1446 and 1406. The Tel armana letters beg an unknown pharaoh for help as the "Hibiru" conquer cannan which happens to be the first and last time an egptian ruler converted to the belief in 1 God (Akenheten) There is even a writing which seems.to be an eyewitness account of the plagues called the Iquwer Pypyrus.
In Luke, we are told about the conception of John Baptist. After his father, Zacharias, who was of the course of Abia, completed his service in the temple, he went into his wife, Elizabeth, and she conceived. John Baptist was 6 months in the womb, when Mary who was pregnant with our Lord Jesus, walked into her cousin Elizabeth's house, and John lept within his mother's womb (Luke 1:5--44). In 1 Chronicles 24: 10, we are told that the eighth of 24 lots fell to Abia. The tabernacle of the tent of the congregation was set up on the first day of the first month. If Zacharias went home immediately after he complete the days of his ministration in the later part of the month of Tammuz (July), and Elizabeth conceived, John Baptist would have been born 9 months later in the month of Nisan or Abib (April) [Luke 1: 23-24]. Jesus was/is six months younger than his older cousin John Baptist, so Jesus was born in the month of Tishri (late September/early October). This agrees with the fact that Jesus was 33 and 1/2 years old on Passover of the year that he was crucified.
Isn’t it amazing that Yahshua ALWAYS FULFILLS with over-achieving our understanding!! You bring up an amazing point in the video Nelson... where you mention that Solomon took 9/11 to inaugurate his kingship, but it was written that Yahshua would be from David’s line... and of fulfilling and exceeding our understanding this would be very fitting for Yahshua to inaugurate his kingship! I’ve been preaching this for years cause of Johns birth and how it is connected to Yahshua’s conception and birth which also points to this same time of year... then he was born in the fall feats and fulfilled the sprIng feasts... and will return likely to finish the remaining fall feasts, which are fulfilling to say the least of what God intends within these feasts
We can estimate when Jesus was born by counting backward from his death on Passover, Nisan 14 in the spring of the year 33 C.E. (John 19:14-16) Jesus was about 30 years old when he began his three-and-a-half-year ministry, so maybe he was born in the early fall of 2 B.C.E.-just a theory . G-d bless you Nelson always.
The Shepherds of Bethlehem were part of the priesthood since their lambs were for temple sacrifices. I don’t presently have the reference, but I recall a YT video noting that there were breeds of sheep (Awasi, perhaps) for whom there was a second lambing season in the fall.
The problem with winter argument is that there is no winter in December in Israel. The icy winter occurs during January. And about the sheep, the type of sheep that is being tended by the shepherds were not ordinary sheep but the type of sheep that were being used in daily sacrifices and they roam year round.
@@mandan3899 the shepherds mentioned in the Gospel of Luke accounts were no ordinary shepherds but are what we call Levitical shepherds. The type of sheep they are raising were as it was said, used for daily sacrifice and as you said, "blemishless".
Stephen, I live in a climate where the weather is not yet quite as cold in December, however it doesn't have to be icy for the shepherds to stay indoors at night. this week we got down to 27 degrees one night. Checking the Jerusalem forcast you'll see a couple nights in the low 30's this week.
Dan, the video shows that the Talmud claims these sheep were sacrifical, but I asked Stephen for a verse as well because it would lend support to this idea
Also, the temple was destroyed in 70 AD; 40 years after Jesus' death... 40 is a very Biblical number and it wouldn't surprise me if that 40 year-number was on purpose as well... That also puts Jesus' death in 30 AD and His birth in 3 BC...
Hi Nelson. Thank you for the very interesting video. I listened to it several times. Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about Christmas. I’ve come to the conclusion, for myself, that as we pray daily to thank Heavenly Father and his most Holy Jesus for the sacrifices they made for our eternal salvation, should we not also be thankful every day that Lord Jesus was born? For the purity of His life and the miracles that He performed? Just a thought. To me, in that way of thinking, every day is a celebration.
I so agree. "This is the DAY the LORD has GIVEN me. I WILL rejoice and be GLAD in it. " One of my fav. verses. Every day, we wake up with a clean slate...and we write what we want for ourselves and others on that slate for the day. " Many blessings to all for 2020 !
@@NelsonWalters I agree with you regarding Jesus possibly being born on September 11th, because they're various different sources that verified it as well. However, I personally rather not celebrate Christmas because of it's pagan roots, especially after I found out that even the early apostles traditionally never celebrate any form of birthday due to it's pagan origins. Perhaps you can research that fact and do a video regarding the reason why the apostles never celebrated birthdays.
Scholars say Jesus was born Tishi 1, 1 BC wrongly assume Jesus' ministry was 3 years. Jesus' ministry was 1 year to proclaim "the acceptable YEAR of the LORD." Mt, Mk, Lk all have 1 year ministry, Jn, if translated correctly, agrees. Somebody incorrectly added another Pentecost that was simply "a feast of the Jews," they say it was Pentecost, but Jesus was NOT at the Tempple, which violates the Law. Jesus our Passover Lamb had to be OF THE FIRST YEAR. So scholares agree on Tishri 1 (Sept 11) 3 BC.
After 7th October this Year i would believe its 11 September too ...both 7 Oct is Yom Kippur Israel holiest day ...Terrorists knew that ..and 11 Sep ..is another day terrorist made a statement too ..
You lost a lot of credibility for me when speaking of the census of "Quinarius". ??? It's not Quinarius, but Quirinius. For someone who is purporting to put forth details surrounding the birth of Christ, how am I to take you seriously, when you can't even pronounce the governor's name correctly. 😊
Mary was told by the angel she would conceive and this happened on the 6th month of the year, 9 months later we have a baby. John was conceived in the start of the year meaning his father was appointed at the start of the year. When the wise men told Harrod about the star and child much time had passed from their travel, it is why Harrod sent the order for the children who were 2 years and under to be killed.
The Bible does not specifically say the date of Jesus’ birth. However, the worldly tradition of December 25th is wrong because it is a winter month and the scriptures speak of the sheep being in pasture (Luke 2:8). A study of the time of the conception of John the Baptist reveals he was conceived about Sivan 30, the eleventh week, [our June 22]. Many Bible believing scholars believe Jesus was born during the Feast of Tabernacles. Matthew Henry states: “It is supposed by many that our blessed Savior was born much about the time of this (Jewish) holiday; when He left His mansions of light above to tabernacle among us (John 1:1), and He dwelt in booths. And the worship of God under the New Testament is prophesied of under the notion of keeping the feast of tabernacles, (Zechariah 14:16). For, (1) The Gospel of Christ teaches us to dwell in tabernacles, to sit loose to this world, as those that have here no continuing city, but by faith, and hope and holy contempt of present things, to go out to Christ without the camp, (Hebrews 13:13-14). (2) It teaches us to rejoice before the Lord our God. Those are the circumcision, Israelites indeed, that always rejoice in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:3). And the more we are taken off from this world the less liable we are to the interruption of our joys.” When Zechariah was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son. The eighth course of Abia, when Zechariah was ministering, was the week of Sivan 12 to 18 (Killian n.d.). Adding forty weeks for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan14) [March 25]. We know six months after John’s conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33). Therefore, Jesus would have been conceived six months later in the month of Kislev. Kislev 25 [Dec. 25] is celebrated by Jews today as Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world” conceived on the festival of lights? Starting at Hanukkah, which begins Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Feast of Tabernacles (the early fall of the year) [late September or early October]. [Wouldn’t it make sense that the gospel that we preach is supposed to be “according to the scriptures?” (1 Cor. 15)] During the Feast of Tabernacles, God required all male Jews to come to the Temple in Jerusalem. The many pilgrims coming to Jerusalem for the festivals would spill over to the surrounding towns. (Bethlehem is about five miles from Jerusalem). Joseph and Mary were unable to find a room at the inn because of the influx of so many pilgrims. They may have been given shelter in a booth [sukkah], which is built during a seven day period each year accompanying the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles. Due to the difficulties during travel, it was common for the officials to declare tax time during a temple feast (Luke 2:1). [In an agrarian economy harvest time is when the farmers have monies so they can be taxed!] We know our Messiah was made manifest into a temporary body when He came to earth. Is it possible He also was put in a temporary dwelling upon His birth? The fields would have been dotted with these backyard Sukkoths during this harvest time to temporarily shelter their animals. It may be of some interest that the Hebrew word for “stable” in Genesis 33:17 is translated Succoth, (“And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.”) “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in a manger; [animal feed trough found regularly where cattle are kept] because there was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7) Joseph and Mary soon took the child and flew to Egypt and remained there until they were told by God that Herod was dead. Joseph and Mary brought the baby Jesus into Jerusalem forty days from his birth for Mary’s purification and the child’s dedication. (According to Torah this had to be done within forty days of the birth of a male child -not doing so is considered a sin) [see Leviticus 12:2-8]. This indicates that Herod died as recorded in the scriptures, within the same forty days, because as long as Herod was alive, they had to be very cautious not to appear at the Temple at Jerusalem. (According to the historian Josephus’ calculations, Herod’s death occurred during Autumn in the fourth year before the Common Era [4 b.c.]) Later in His life, is it possible Jesus celebrated His birthday on a mountain with three of His disciples? In contrast to birthday parties, such as Herod’s where people were killed for entertainment, His would have been a celebration of life. On the Feast of Succoth (Tabernacles), Jesus entertained two special friends that specifically appeared to speak with Him. Moses and Elijah, from centuries past, representatives of the Law (Torah) and the Prophets, appeared on the mount of Transfiguration and talked with Jesus. One disciple (Peter) suggested building three tabernacles (succoths) for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah. Could it be because it was required for the festival? Peter may not have understood that these three were fulfilling that which the festival symbolized: saints dwelling in their temporary tabernacle (succoth) of flesh, awaiting their eternal resurrection temples as promised in Bible prophecy. Today, a number of Christians are celebrating Christ’s birth during the Feast of Tabernacles, complete with decorations and even strings of electric lights on their succoths, with music celebrating Jesus’ first Advent. Is there any other way to legitimately show your love for God and that He has made you different from the world?
Lots of good info in this comment. I agree with a Hanukkah conception but a Tabernacles birth is pretty impossible given that those same shepherds had to be in Jerusalem for the feast. Watch the video and let us know your other thoughts
Just after Jesus 40 days in the wilderness after his baptism he was at the wedding feast where he changes water into wine. His first miracle but he told his mother Mary that it wasn’t yet the appropriate day (30th birthday) ...
It's Was the Job of the Groom to provide the Wine, and they say Jesus Christ married Mary the Sister of Martha Who Was annointing Jesus Christ Feet with her hair after he Raised Lazarus from the Tomb ! Supposedly they had two children a boy and a girl ! Just speculation I think no real evidence ! Supposedly Mary and Her children went to France and the daughter married the King ! Not important to the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ
Brilliant research as usual. I think all the streams coming together like you have done make this the best calculation I have ever seen. As to the place, I think Migdal Eder is the perfect candidate for this. Also the shepherds were told they would find the baby in a manger, they would have had free access to this place. Just out of interest, how far from Bethlehem is Migdal Eder? Just a couple of production notes, the volume seems to be getting lower and lower on the last few videos, I've got it up as loud as possible on my pc and it is hard to hear over some background noise. Also, are you aware some of your art is from the Watchtower Society (Jehovah's Witnesses)? Just mentioning so you can decide whether you want to keep using it or not.
In terms of watchtower art, if it explains the topic discussed, it's just art. As long as it doesn't portray a false doctrine, I see no problem. What do you think?
@@NelsonWalters Those hidden-in-plain-sight methods of communication are in them. The "halos" are sun-worship/Saturn-worship. The Trident handsign conveys something as well (the Masonic M, I think; I could be wrong). The hand across the abdomen is often a covert or complete hidden hand, which is Freemasonic. Some are also portrayals of "As above, so below" - that's one that gets *very confusing* because of the many, varied ways it's portrayed. It's all from Kabbalah. Even the infamous God touching Adam picture has Kabbalistic symbols in it.
@@glintoflightonbrokenglass9473 Not the WT art. There were some rumors years ago that there were hidden symbols in it, the examples I saw were very weak, laughable even. I have studied symbols a lot and I am sure there are no intentional occult symbols in their art, some of it portrays their false doctrine, but that is obvious.
"Our ancestors restricted the Saturnalia to a single day, the fourteenth before the Kalends of January, but, after Gaius Caesar had added two days to December, the day on which the festival was held became the sixteenth before the Kalends of January, with the result that, since the exact day was not commonly known-some observing the addition which Caesar had made to the calendar and others following the old usage -the festival came to be regarded as lasting for more days than one." -Macrobius "From that time there is no mention of the celebration of Sol Invictus in Roman history until the rule of Aurelian (A.D. 270-275). Aurelian did try to re-introduce the worship of Sol Invictus by decree in the year 274. But there is no record of this festival being held on December 25th. “The traditional feast days of Sol, as recorded in the early imperial fasti, were August 8th and/or August 9th, possibly August 28th, and December 11th.” (Hijmans, p. 588 )
I tell you what Nelson. You might be on the money because you're not the only one to point out that Jesus birthday is on September 11 3 bc. Just by working out the season's alone. December is winter in Israel.
And how appropriate for the demonic (illuminati) forces to use this date for their hoaxes, false flags, ceremonies, etc. It's unfortunate that most of the world and so-called "Christians" not only don't have a clue, but refute the notion of the truth. [Even so, come Lord Jesus.]
I will say that Jesus was born in late March or early April and I skipped that from scripture he says one thing scripture teaches is that the Shepherds were out at night during the time of Jesus birth, and from talking to modern-day Shepherds they're only out at night during the time sheep give birth because of a high mortality rate dying birth because she / usually born breached and sheep generally give birth in late winter and early spring. Which is late March and early April. And personally I do not see Jesus returning be on the anniversary of his own Resurrection Retweeted
Yes, Cherub, thanks. Interestingly, others believe the shepherds would only be in the protection of the tower of the flock for birthing. One thing about them being in the fields we can say for sure is it wasn't winter or on a prescribed Feast when the shepherds were in Jerusalem.
Chereb חָרַב Finder - lambing is huge reason. plus, Bethlehem is known for bread (manna of life), and providing lambs for the temple sacrifices just a few miles away. lastly, why else would our Creator change the head of the year to Nisan???
I know from keeping sheep and goats myself birthing lambs isn’t the only reason to be out with the sheep. Ancient herders would want to keep sheep moving day after day to reduce the parasite load in the animal, if they stay in one place too long they start reingesting parasites and isn’t as big a problem in the cold months when the low temperatures help. This is what would have been practiced in a time without deworming medications or you would lose a whole flock really easy. Just saying I could see flocks being moved greater distance in the later fall months before bringing them home for winter. I’m sorry I do not have any architectural evidence, only what I find reasonable from my own experience.
@@paulpierce2051 And these very special shepherds only took care of the sacrificial flock. So they would have taken "extra special" care of these lambs, to be sure, to include swaddling them at birth and making sure they were healthy and "without blemish". This was no ordinary flock and they were no ordinary shepherds. Thank you for sharing your experience of shepherding!
I watched a compelling Skiba video. In that video, he goes back to the astronomy and demonstrates that based on astronomy records, the likely date of Jesus' birth was 9/11/03 BC.
One question about the calculations, God said the beginning of Aviv (later called Nisan) is to be Israel's New Year. The rabbis changed it. Which do you think Jesus would recognize.
There are two leading arguments for the birth date of Jesus. 1.1st is the traditional date in December 25 in conjunction with the Feast of Hanukkah and Zechariah's temple service during Yom Kippur which is his second service. 2.2nd is the October birth which is conjunction with the Feast of Sukkot and Zechariah's first temple service. This would place Hannukah as the time when Jesus was conceived which is still close to the traditional date. I think there is no problem with either dates because both dates are in conjunction with important Jewish Festivals. And to think that the first Christians were Jews, they put new significance of these feasts to center on Jesus.
thanks Stephen, but here are some things to think about. If the shepherds were in the fields, it couldn't be one of the three holidays requiring the shepherds to be in Jerusalem. Sukkot is one of these so that is out. Second, we discussed the possible service times of Zecharias in the video. there were two times plus the 3 main holidays when they pulled an extra shift. So that makes 5 potential service times. Based on this there were only 3 months possible. Recheck the video so see what I mean.
I like the conception theory being haunaka and his birth being in october looking at several factors starting with the knights templar found something as they escavated the holy city they were celebrating something on October 13th which made it easier to round them up
@@jdb90219 just let u know Haunaka is a Jewish feast day not a Torah feast day, Yeshua would have to be in line with the Torah as he is the the Torah in flesh .
Robert where the story of the maccabees may not be in the Torah it is in jewish readings and teachings jesus fulfilled all the prophecies about him in Isaiah Daniel Psalms ect for his first coming but none of those books are Torah so that in itself breaks your argument. The festival of lights is celebrated as a reminder of how Israel was almost destroyed by Antiochus and how God kept there lights/oil filled now here's a fun fact did you know at the point of conception the egg glows almost as if a light brightens it up scientists have watched this happen in test jars Jesus was the light in a dark world see Isaiah 60 so this would make perfect sense to be conceived during the festival of lights. Tabernacles is a fall festival that's usually in September or october Gods dwelling with us in the festival of tabernacles. Jesus had to fulfill every prophecy about him not just torah
I have a couple questions: what are "Jewish festivals" -- are they God's festivals? Did Jesus celebrate them? And sorry, but I'm not "well-versed" in issues of the Jewish faith. Where you say: "the first Christians were Jews" does that mean that these Jews converted to Christianity?
Thanks as usual Nelson. It took a little time to finally get around to watch this but it did not disappoint. Sept. 11th is an interesting date and number (911)?
Mr. Nelson, in this video you said sins were given remission by water Baptism, but, the Word of God says that "sin can only be given remission by the shedding of blood " What gives?
I have heard, in association with the Sun in the Virgo constellation, that on December 25th, 1 B.C., a star (I believe may have been part of the Virgo constellation) changed direction just above the horizon. This would have been seen south of Jerusalem, in the direction of Bethlehem, just as it would have stopped in the sky and started in the opposite direction. I've heard it theorized that it was at this time the magi were in Jerusalem and would have been guided to Bethlehem. Also, Luke supposedly had a very reliable witness for his information. According to tradition, Luke was with John, whom Jesus gave his mother, Mary, to when he was on the cross. Luke, in turn, would have had Mary as a source for his information. Who better would have that information about Jesus's early life and ministry than his earthly mother?
Jesus was very specific about how He wanted to be remembered in Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24 Luke 22:19-20, and even mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. If He wanted us to remember His birth, to be sure He would have said so. Birthdays mentioned in the Bible were celebrated by Pharaoh of Egypt Genesis 40:20-22 and Herod Matthew 14:6-10. Jesus is not a babe in a manger He is a Mighty King who will be a loving ruler over humankind. John 4:23-24, 2 Timothy 2:15
Your correct Vita. That’s why at the beginning of the video we say it’s not important what his birthday was. But because we love Him we want to know about him
@@NelsonWalters Exactly ! That's why we need to study the scriptures, pray and repent to be found approved by Him ! 2 Peter3:13,14, Jeremiah 10:23,24 !
Since we are talking about Christmas, my wife wonders if the murder of the Two Witnesses occurs at Christmas as Rev 11:10 "And those dwelling on the earth rejoice over them and make merry, and will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets have tormented those dwelling upon the earth." If it was Christmas, it would be a distraction for the world as to what was going on. Of course the prophecy says they do it because they are glad they are dead, but maybe it occurs the first year after the birth of Jesus is officially removed as the reason for Christmas or the celebration/mention of Jesus and his birth is banned.
I heard very similar arguments about the birth, although I fell for the Tabernacle date since it seemed SO logical (G-D tabernacled among US?) - Now I actually hope 9/11 turns out to be the date, since it seems certain that the bad guys planned to turn the tables on the TRUTH !
December (Roman month) December (from Latin decem, "ten") or mensis December was originally the tenth month of the Roman calendar, following November (novem, "nine") and preceding ...
We know Jesus is about 6 months younger than John. We know John's father was promised a child shortly after the Day of Atonement (Or another day the priest goes in to burn insence). So around 15 months after The Day of Atonement is a good guesstimate.
Mossaic, my understanding is that incense was burned on Yom Kippur but also daily within the Holy Place. We just finished a video on the temple of God in Heaven that you will like I think
Nelson Walters yes Yom Kippur... That is the Day of Atonement, same day, different language. And yes, incense was burnt daily, however, on the day Zechariah went in, something amazing happened... because it was a significant moment, it would have had to be on one of the feast days, which were set aside as special and unique directly from Papa.
The shepherds in the Bethlehem fields cared for the temple flock’s and needed to be in the fields year around. I think it was Bishop Lightfoot pointed out that they had portable shelters.
Here is something of interest...The Egyptians ( who by the way never build the Great Pyramids!) said in their books that the Sphinx is the Head of a Virgin and the Body of a loin! .. So I think Christ was born in the sign of Virgo and returns in the sign of Leo...

I personally stopped celebrating this just because of - just personal view! “Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.”
Why do you think God didn't give us the exact day of Jesus birth? Do you think maybe it had something to do with King Herod wanting to kill Jesus? >>> "When Herod saw that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was filled with rage. Sending orders, he put to death all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, according to the time he had learned from the Magi." Matthew 2:16. Divulging this information would be like a general divulging his war tactics to the enemy. This is why such information would not be disclosed, simple common sense. Certainly you aren't saying that there are certain days of the year that we are forbidden to discuss the birth of our Lord and Savior are you??? Since we can't agree on the date are we just supposed to not ever talk about it? God Forbid! Jesus Christ was born, lived, crucified and resurrected on the third day just as it is detailed in scripture. If it wasn't important it wouldn't be included in the Word of God, but it is important and it is included. This is the gospel, the great commission that we are to share with others. You can't share the gospel with others and leave out the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is His Story, History. For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! 1 Corinthians 9:16. Share Jesus all year long!!!
Glenda, of course I think we can look into these things, I even made this video about the topic. In terms of why a birthdate wasn't given, Maybe God doesn't think it's that important?
@@NelsonWalters The Bible tells us the the Angel of the Lord told Mary in the 6th month that she would conceive a baby, all you need to do is count 9 months from then to have the birth month. (do not use the gregorian calendar to calculate) God created us to be curious and He delights when we seek Him. "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." Proverb 25:2
Thanks Glenda, if it were that easy, wow, we wouldn't need this video. However, most Greek scholars believe it was Elizabeth's sixth month of pregnancy. If it were the sixth month, Elul, then February would be the approximate date.
@@NelsonWalters Wow, sorry to break it to you but we DON'T need this video - The answer can only be found in the Bible. He created us to be curious and He delights when we seek truth in His Word. We are provided with several clues in scripture that if you study diligently will lead you to the answer. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2.
One thing that Jesus said dont be partaker of any traditions of men, pagan customs, all of this are doctrine of man.three years already in my house no christmas lights,no christmas tree.there are to monarch that celebrates bday in the bible.king paroah of egypt ang king herod.every celebreation is destruction,Jhon the baptist beheaded from herod.the baker hang in the tree by paroah.thats why Jesus put not his birthdate in the bible so he also not be partaket what the enemies do.God bless us all inJesus name.
@@NelsonWalters I love the Christmas tree and lights. I hang a cross ornament, as well as a spike ornament (from "Christmas with a Point"), a little lantern to remind that Jesus is the Light of the world, and others to remind what we are celebrating. The Christmas tree at our church had a crown of thorns at the top. I've actually thought about getting someone to make a wooden manger as a display and then put a crown of thorns and white linen in it. (This was pictured on Christmas cards I once sent out, and I've never forgotten it.) I believe it is good to spend time studying the Nativity narrative because, among other reasons, we see the meticulous detail of God's planning of this momentous event from eternity, the "unfurling" (to quote a Getty Christmas hymn) of God's salvation. Nothing is left to chance, and there are no coincidences. If God could do this, I can trust Him with my life until the end.
Yes, so true. The doctrines of men (humanity) take precious time away from our Lord Jesus Immanuel the Christ & Messiah. He walks with us, talks with us!
Nissan1 Exodus 12:1-2 states that Nisan is the first month in the intercalation of the new year and the Mishnah in Tractate Rosh Hashanah 1:1 describes the First of Nisan as one of the four beginnings of the Jewish New Year: There are four new years.
The pattern of the Prophetical Fulfillment of the Spring Feasts and the Fall Feasts suggests Jesus as the Lamb of God, was born in the Lambing season in the Spring, along with all the other Sacrificial Lambs, and in the place where the Sacrificial Lambs were born. - This pattern then further suggests that the second coming will then be in the Fall. Notes: to consider. 1) Obviously there was no zero (0) year in the crossover from BC to AD. 2) Further, I have heard that the Jews considered a child to be one year old at the time of their birth, including the 9 months in the womb as the first year. 3) Upto this point in time the best presentation I have heard regarding the Birth of Jesus was given by The Messianic Jewish Rabbi Jonathan Cahn given on the Jim Baker Show available on TH-cam.
I watched Rabbi Cahns video as part of the research for this video. And as we say in the video none of us can say with certainty when the birth of Christ was even spring or fall. But just like tabernacles would not have shepherds in the field, In the same way the landing season at the shepherds back in the protection of the tower were predators could not get the vulnerable sheep and lambs. But of course this thinking could be wrong and he might have been born in the spring we just don’t know for sure but it’s interesting to think about
Thankyou for your time and great effort in researching and presenting facts to all christianity to know the truth. After this video i intend to quit christmas celebration because i don't see any point to do so.I may leave a comment that any biblcal history should not have changed as it is confusing the world who have the rights to know .
The prophecy in Daniel 9: 24-27 showed the time of Christ's appearance, also in the first instance, so therefore, the disciples of John were 'in expectation', and the year was accurate: 29 CE, when Christ was manifest to Israel, as a thirty-year old. Matthew 3: 1 THIS occurred because the Gregorian calendar which we are using, actually has no year "0". So between 1BCE and 1 CE is one year. [Even though we can see it should be 2 years] That is why Christ was manifest in 29 CE as an adult of 30 years; due to the error of this calendar, created in modern times. Does this error cause confusion? Yes, indeed. But Bible students in modern times have taken this into account, so the times and the seasons, according to prophecy, are accurate.
There is still some gray area in these calculations especially with the starting date of 457 BC. A date that long ago could easily be off by a year or so as could the year Jesus is started his ministry I think all of us should be careful to be dogmatic about an exact year although I favored AD 27 It could be 28 or 29 also
@@NelsonWalters "You should know and understand that from the issuing of the word to restore and and to rebuild Jerusalem, until Messiah the leader , there will be 7 weeks and also 62 weeks." Daniel 9: 25. The 'word' is shown in Nehemiah 2: 5, 11; and in Nehemiah 6: 15 a definite date is given, so the 'day' indicated in Daniel 9: 25 can be ascertained. The disciples of John the Baptist were aware of these things, Matthew 3: 1 and they were all therefore in expectation. This date was 29 CE, and was accurate. The Messiah was manifest the first time exactly when Daniel's prophecy, and Nehemiah's testimony showed it would be.
Great video.. you already know that those are the dates I believe too from previous comments on other videos September 11th 3 B.C and conception was on Hanukkah and 27 ce was when Jesus was baptized. Every word shall be established with 2 or 3 witnesses but there is always something to learn .. the tower of the flock.. never heard of it and the prophecy of Micah never studied it to be honest or heard it somewhere.. so ty for that. May God bless you even more
What about the astrological occurrence on Dec 25? When the sun rises for 3 days.. the Bible does say that we are to mourn a birth and celebrate a death. So I've always thought we should give gifts on Easter Sunday.
John the Baptist was born on June 24th. According to the Bible Mary gave birth 6 months after the birth of John the Baptist which would make the birth of Jesus the Messiah exactly December25th…..Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rest.
Brother Nelson, must admit you have done a marvellous job right up to the NEAR end ,but sadly to say it was spoiled by saying you didn't mind if people would celebrate it in a worldly way ,I needn't elaborate.
Nelson, Zech 14;16 is interesting in that during the millennium all nations will take part of the feast of tabernacles or their rain will stop and the plagues of Egypt will visit them. So if the feast of tabernacles was the birth of Jesus it would make sense for all nations to be inclined to celebrate it. Dec 25th was picked because of the winter solstice. And the drunken orgy that Constantine wanted to celebrate. I have no problem celebrating Jesus birthday on Christmas. My problem is the santa intertwining with Jesus birthday. When a home is filled with santas and Jesus is given no praise then it becomes a pagan holiday. Just my thoughts. Thank you for your work.
For what it's worth: Your dating of Yeshua's birth day pretty much agrees with Michael Rood's Book "The Chronological Gospels: the Life and Seventy Week Ministry of the Messiah" in which he identifies Tishri 15 3998 - Sept 26 3 BCE.
I love your work Nelson but with pride cometh a fall and consider what other channels are rated highly by utube and some things that might be censored bless you Nelson but you could be a stumbling block to those trying to achieve humility
It’s interesting that if you count 8 weeks from the feast of Trumpets, Jesus would have been dedicated on the 27th day of Cheshvan. The day Noah left the ark
Jesus was born Sunday, March 1, 7BC in Bethlehem of Judea, a residential complex a kilometer south of Qumran. It was originally a palace for Hasmonean royalty. It was called the Queen's House. He was born there because at the time of his birth he was officially classed as an illegitimate child. Also, because animals were stabled there, it was called the 'Manger'. Jesus should have been born in the royal month of September, on the 15th. He was alloted the 15th of September to be in line for Messianic requirement. Jesus began his ministry in 29AD when he was 35.
Now I have completed watching the whole video. And strangely my first thought was how blessed I am. Because back in 1981 while attending California Lutheran University I partook in a study group regarding this topic. And with the help of the professor we came to the same conclusions that you did! That’s pretty awesome to me. The only 2 things that differed were that we 1, had something about the end of the rainy period (Redaction - it was the end of the summer rains. And I don’t remember how or why. It was almost 40 years ago.) in Israel. And 2, I’ve already forgotten! what it was. Your videos are fantastic Nelson.
1st century Jews, particularly poor ones, didn't celebrate birthdays, but they did commemorate their deaths. That being the case, the best evidence we have is what 1st century people would've had... and that was the belief that people died on the anniversary of their conception. If that is true then March 25th (passover) would be exactly 9 months before December 25th, a day they wouldn't have been celebrated as we do today. Understanding the significance of his birth foretold in prophecy it because immediately clear that this was an important date to hold a feast, thus a Mass in his honor... a Catholic Mass to be exact
The bottom line of celebrating Christmas is this. ALL CREATION, DAYS, SEASON, EVEN SYMBOLS BELONG TO JESUS ALONE. Satan and humans do not own anything in this world. Satan and humans may corrupt everything but everything will be subjected to Jesus and will become pure. Christmas is just one of the ways we humans are surrendering all things under Jesus. Even Scriptures attest to that. 1 Corinthians 15:27 "For he “has put everything under his feet.”Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ."
Really? So everyone’s herd of sheep gets uncared for during 7 days of Sukkot (plus the 8th day assembly)? And thus repeats for each major Festival? No, male representatives from each household went to Jerusalem for pilgrim Festivals. But, shepherds stayed to continually care for their animals. Perhaps, households took Festival turns?
About Virgo: 1) what do you mean Virgo is the only woman constellation? What about Andromeda and her mother Cassiopeia? And then there's the 7 Pleiades sisters. 2) These are Greek constellations, not Jewish. Outside of the letters to the 7 churches, Revelation is a VERY Jewish book, given to a Jewish man, with lots of Jewish imagery, and focus on the people of Israel and therefore if the woman is a constellation, it should be a Jewish one, as the Greek are not universal. In Japan, the aforementioned Pleiades is called Subaru, and Mars (of which they have a different name) is culturally still regarded as a star when it is seen by the naked eye every other year. Polynesian cultures refer to Scorpio's tail as Maui's fish hook.
NELSON! GET THIS! IT REGARDS THE ALIGNMENT IN 2017 At the time of the birth of Jupiter the Sun was on Virgos shoulder! Strong's says the Hebrew word for shoulder, Katheph, comes from an unused root meaning 'to clothe'!!! Strong's h3802 - Lexical: כָּתֵף - Transliteration: katheph - Part of Speech: Noun Feminine - Phonetic Spelling: kaw-thafe' - Definition: shoulder, shoulder blade, side. - Origin: From an unused root meaning to clothe; the shoulder (proper, i.e. Upper end of the arm; as being the spot where the garments hang); figuratively, side-piece or lateral projection of anything. - Usage: arm, corner, shoulder(-piece), side, undersetter. By the way ;my guess would be that the sign of jupiter in virgo would have PRECEEDED Jesus' birth by at least a year, making it a prophetic sign.
Concerning the Sheppard on being in Jerusalem for Sukkot. If we take the premise that Yeshua had to be born on a Mo’diem. And if we use your logic that the Shepard had to be in Jerusalem for Sukkot so they could be out in the field. Well then what about Joseph and Mary? They were in Bethlehem we know that and not Jerusalem. Or is Bethlehem close enough since it is only 2 miles away?
If Jesus started his ministry at the end of the 69th week and was cut off in the mist of the 70th week. Wouldn’t that leave only 3 and 1/2 years left in the prophecy of 70 weeks?
@@NelsonWalters I"m very curious to this as well. Did you hit on this in one of your books or have a video? I've kinda figured the 70th week started with the Great sign of Rev. 12: 1-2 over Jerusalem, and then the woman is protected in exodus, but would like to discern more whether it is 3.5 or 7 remaining once the seals/trumpets begin. Perhaps she is taken after the time, times and half a time with the wings of the eagle, and at the rise of the AC, as well as given time to prepare for 1,260 days.
Can you show what is going on on Nisan 1 in those years? I just watch Jonathan Cahn show the birth date was then, then He would have been born, began His ministry and died about the same time!! John @ tells us at the wedding of Cana , Nisan 3, it wasn't yet His time, but 11 days latter it was!!!
Please show one verse that exempts shepherds from having to go to the city of their father. LUKE 2:1-5 (World Messianic Bible) 1 Now in those days, a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled. 2 This was the first enrollment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 All went to enroll themselves, everyone to his own city. 4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to David’s city, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, 5 to enroll himself with Miriam, who was pledged to be married to him as wife, being pregnant. "everyone to his own city." Shepherds were not exept no matter what time of year. Shepherds always watch over their flocks all year round. If they had to keep their flocks out of the newly seeded fall barley and wheat fields so the flocks didn't destroy the crop, they would definitely be watching over their flocks. Shepherds don't just watch over their flocks at lambing time. If shepherds didn't watch over their flocks, they would lose them as they strayed and theives and predators stole them.
Jesus began his ministry at 27 AD and died in 30 AD as prophesied by Daniel. The destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in 70 AD was 40 years from the date of the Crucification to parallel Jonah’s 40 prophetic day warning to Nineveh. So I agree with your analysis Nelson. My Church celebrates on Jan 7 so at least it is not tied to the pagan date.
Sorry, but you are totally wrong about the shepherds not having their flocks outside in the winter!! These weren't just any kind of shepherds. These shepherds were the best of the best who looked after SACRIFICIAL SHEEP only!! These sheep had to be OUTSIDE for one year!! Everyone got this wrong including myself. Read Zev Porat's new book. Also, Yeshua wasn't born in A manger. He was born in THE manger. He was born in a shepherd's watchtower & underneath that tower was where newborn sheep were swaddled & taken care of. This is very deep. Everyone must read Zev's new book! God bless you all!
Good video. Ok. Now I'm back where I HAD been. Lol. I was so so on if being the lamb of God time vs Sept time. Guess all I had read on year Herod died being 4BC led me to the year but now I see how that year can be off. Good grief. Hehe. But. I SURE know it wasnt Dec 25th.
At least this another explanation is still in conjunction with another important Jewish Festival which is Feast of Trumpets. This was a good point actually. The only thing i disagree with this video is about the connection with Saturnalia. Saturnalia commonly start at December 17 and lasted only for 4 days. The early Christians however are already celebrating Christmas via prayer and hymns but cannot celebrate publicly from the 1st to the 4th century because they were being persecuted by the Romans. Furthermore, the first Christians were Jews and their festivals meant a lot to them. So they could have celebrated Christmas during important feasts like Hanukkah/Feast of Dedication, Sukkot/Feast of Tabernacles and Rosh Hashana/Feast of Trumpets.
Stephen you make a good point about Christians being persecuted in the 200's. However the date of Christmas was established during the time of Constantine when Christianity was made a state religion. Saturnalia was 17th and eventually became a week long festival.
@@NelsonWalters there are already some letters from the Church Fathers determining December 25 as the date for Christmas. The time of Constantine was just formalizing what is already an established observance among early Christians.
@@NelsonWalters to be honest, i am willing to concede that Jesus might be born on another date. The traditional date and the other alternatives even yours were all in conjunction with important Jewish Festivals. I just don't agree on the pagan theories because not only they were pushed by people who want to discredit Jesus, there are no ancient text pointing out to such conspiracy theories.
Imagine my surprise when you released this amazing subject. Love your study. Just yesterday Sabbath/Saturday I spent much time on this subject and walked away with "It's all about the shepherds in the field at night" Just confirmation that God has us in the same Spirit of excellence/truth.

@ you are wrong Jesus came to fulfill the law not change or do away with it
The excitement I get every time u post a new video lol.
THANKS Yahuel.
Amen a big AMEN!!!
Here is a little breakdown I found on the feast days:
God’s seven annual feasts are relevant to both Jew and Gentile today.
Joshua
God bless you too Josh

@@NelsonWalters Yes, there seems to be some controversy over that verse. Some translations don't include it.

Another great insightful video Nelson. Thanks for the video, we have alot of biblical mysteries in common lol. Have you done one on pharaoh of exodus? Its something I've studied for many years and would be happy to share notes.
I am also interested in who the pharaoh of the exodus was I’ve seen several good suggestions over the years
@@NelsonWalters Studying it can be a can of worms lol.

What a beautiful discourse, backed up by much loving reflection on research. God bless you.

Thanks. In the new year we’ll do a series on the feasts
Thanks for the idea Donna. 33 AD is one idea for the date of his death. 30AD is the other.
Sometimes my head spins from trying to grasp so much lol. Thank you for today's teaching.
The Lord led me to the same conclusion.
Donna Power Me too Donna. It’s a lot of information and Scripture to take into consideration all at once!
@@thomasfholland One day I pray we will all understand when we meet our Saviour. Peace to you Thomasfholland.
The Shepherds of Bethlehem were part of the priesthood since their lambs were for temple sacrifices. I don’t presently have the reference, but I recall a YT video noting that there were breeds of sheep (Awasi, perhaps) for whom there was a second lambing season in the fall.
Nelson I've tried two different machines your volume is to low.
Sounds best with headphones.
Volume always seems to be an issue Lawrence, sorry. Some claim too loud, some too quiet.
Yes, I edit with headphones maybe that is why
The problem with winter argument is that there is no winter in December in Israel. The icy winter occurs during January. And about the sheep, the type of sheep that is being tended by the shepherds were not ordinary sheep but the type of sheep that were being used in daily sacrifices and they roam year round.
@@mandan3899 the shepherds mentioned in the Gospel of Luke accounts were no ordinary shepherds but are what we call Levitical shepherds. The type of sheep they are raising were as it was said, used for daily sacrifice and as you said, "blemishless".
Stephen, I too think they were sacrifical sheep, but the only reference I see is the Talmud. Do you know a scripture?
Thanks Marijke

Many blessings to all for 2020 !
Alans that is a great thought
Yes Debbie, I agree. Did you know this was likely the Psalm Jesus sang on his way to be betrayed that Passover night?
@@NelsonWalters No didn't know that...is there a verse that shows he sang? Must have missed it.
@@NelsonWalters
I agree with you regarding Jesus possibly being born on September 11th, because they're various different sources that verified it as well.
Thanks Kawaii, most scholars believe this means Elizabeth’s 6th month of pregnancy
And the more we are taken off from this world the less liable we are to the interruption of our joys.”
When Zechariah was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son.
During the Feast of Tabernacles, God required all male Jews to come to the Temple in Jerusalem. [In an agrarian economy harvest time is when the farmers have monies so they can be taxed!]
We know our Messiah was made manifest into a temporary body when He came to earth. Is it possible He also was put in a temporary dwelling upon His birth? The fields would have been dotted with these backyard Sukkoths during this harvest time to temporarily shelter their animals. It may be of some interest that the Hebrew word for “stable” in Genesis 33:17 is translated Succoth, (“And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him an house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth.”) “And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped Him in a manger; [animal feed trough found regularly where cattle are kept] because there was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:7)
Joseph and Mary soon took the child and flew to Egypt and remained there until they were told by God that Herod was dead. (According to the historian Josephus’ calculations, Herod’s death occurred during Autumn in the fourth year before the Common Era [4 b.c.])
Later in His life, is it possible Jesus celebrated His birthday on a mountain with three of His disciples?

Those hidden-in-plain-sight methods of communication are in them.

"Our ancestors restricted the Saturnalia to a single day, the fourteenth before the Kalends of January, but, after Gaius Caesar had added two days to December, the day on which the festival was held became the sixteenth before the Kalends of January, with the result that, since the exact day was not commonly known-some observing the addition which Caesar had made to the calendar and others following the old usage -the festival came to be regarded as lasting for more days than one."

"From that time there is no mention of the celebration of Sol Invictus in Roman history until the rule of Aurelian (A.D. 270-275). Aurelian did try to re-introduce the worship of Sol Invictus by decree in the year 274. But there is no record of this festival being held on December 25th. “The traditional feast days of Sol, as recorded in the early imperial fasti, were August 8th and/or August 9th, possibly August 28th, and December 11th.”

And personally I do not see Jesus returning be on the anniversary of his own Resurrection

Yes Jari it is
There are two leading arguments for the birth date of Jesus.

Yes, this is part of the star of Bethlehem theory that came out a number of years ago. Quite interesting
Jesus was very specific about how He wanted to be remembered in Matthew 26:26-28, Mark 14:22-24
Luke 22:19-20, and even mentioned in 1 Corinthians 11:23-29. If He wanted us to remember His birth, to be sure He would have said so. Birthdays mentioned in the Bible were celebrated by Pharaoh of Egypt

If it was Christmas, it would be a distraction for the world as to what was going on. Of course the prophecy says they do it because they are glad they are dead, but maybe it occurs the first year after the birth of Jesus is officially removed as the reason for Christmas or the celebration/mention of Jesus and his birth is banned.

The Christmas tree at our church had a crown of thorns at the top. I've actually thought about getting someone to make a wooden manger as a display and then put a crown of thorns and white linen in it. (This was pictured on Christmas cards I once sent out, and I've never forgotten it.)
I believe it is good to spend time studying the Nativity narrative because, among other reasons, we see the meticulous detail of God's planning of this momentous event from eternity, the "unfurling" (to quote a Getty Christmas hymn) of God's salvation. Nothing is left to chance, and there are no coincidences. If God could do this, I can trust Him with my life until the end.
Thanks the incarnation is one of the two greatest miracles of all time
Yes, so true. The doctrines of men (humanity) take precious time away from our Lord Jesus Immanuel the Christ & Messiah. He walks with us, talks with us!
31 ad I'm a novice and found this .... 70 weeks was his ministry....
To be precise: does Messiah come AFTER 69th week or during the last year of 69th week?
How long into the Third Day is that ?
Nissan1
Exodus 12:1-2 states that Nisan is the first month in the intercalation of the new year and the Mishnah in Tractate Rosh Hashanah 1:1 describes the First of Nisan as one of the four beginnings of the Jewish New Year: There are four new years.

Well done sir.
Thanks aeircooled
Great video.. you already know that those are the dates I believe too from previous comments on other videos September 11th 3 B.C and conception was on Hanukkah and 27 ce was when Jesus was baptized. Every word shall be established with 2 or 3 witnesses but there is always something to learn .. the tower of the flock.. never heard of it and the prophecy of Micah never studied it to be honest or heard it somewhere.. so ty for that. May God bless you even more
Thanks CF, glad that idea of the tower of the flock was new
What about the astrological occurrence on Dec 25? When the sun rises for 3 days.. the Bible does say that we are to mourn a birth and celebrate a death. So I've always thought we should give gifts on Easter Sunday.
When does the Sun Rise for 3 Day's ? Like the 3 months of Darkness at the North Pole ?
@Donald Cannon in December the sun moves directly north for 3 days

How about the Feast of Tabernacle....Sukkoth?......Censor time?
John the Baptist was born on June 24th. According to the Bible Mary gave birth 6 months after the birth of John the Baptist which would make the birth of Jesus the Messiah exactly December25th…..Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rest.
During her lifetime Mary would have been asked for the date of Jesus birth. What would be her response?
So 2000 years after the crucifixion/resurrection would be around 2030/31?
Lets hope
I believe so, so be watchful for the early 2030s as the time when The King of Glory breaks through the sky for all the world to see.
Yes, that seems like a good guesstimate
ab, yes, believers look forward to what many unbelievers fear
Bondslave, I think we should start watching now, as signs will be and maybe are beginning
Brother Nelson, must admit you have done a marvellous job right up to the NEAR end ,but sadly to say it was spoiled by saying you didn't mind if people would celebrate it in a worldly way ,I needn't elaborate.
I don’t think I said that Mona - I don’t mind them celebrating a worldly DAY - I very much mind them celebrating in a worldly way
Nelson, Zech 14;16 is interesting in that during the millennium all nations will take part of the feast of tabernacles or their rain will stop and the plagues of Egypt will visit them.
Thanks end days. My thought on Tabernacles was that the shepherds would be required to be in Jerusalem and couldn't be in the fields.
someone has to take care of the sheep.
True but women are available especially back at the tower of the flock
For what it's worth: Your dating of Yeshua's birth day pretty much agrees with Michael Rood's Book "The Chronological Gospels: the Life and Seventy Week Ministry of the Messiah" in which he identifies Tishri 15 3998 - Sept 26 3 BCE.
Roof and I agree on a lot. Not everything. He misses that during tabernacles the shepherds were in Jerusalem at the Feast
@@NelsonWalters good point
There is a spring equinox, but no spring solstice. There is a winter and summer solstice.
I love your work Nelson but with pride cometh a fall and consider what other channels are rated highly by utube and some things that might be censored bless you Nelson but you could be a stumbling block to those trying to achieve humility
So…the possible Birthday of Jesus is…9.11?!
Yes many say that
It’s interesting that if you count 8 weeks from the feast of Trumpets, Jesus would have been dedicated on the 27th day of Cheshvan.
Have a blessed Christmas Nelson! God bless you and all your loved ones. And may the peace of our Lord always be upon you.
Thanks Thomas blessings to you also. Rainy season? I missed that
I think that John the Baptist was born at around Passover and Yahoshua was born six months later. Just a hunch though.
1 Corinthians 15:27
"For he “has put everything under his feet.”Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ."
Zachariah and Joseph were brothers. Elizabeth and Mary became family.
On Christmas, duh!
Interesting. Btw the 7 churches are seven menorahs a very Jewish symbol as we’ll demonstrate in our upcoming video on the temple of God in Heaven
You are correct about the other woman constellations and also about the Jewishness of Virgo as it’s the only woman in the mazzoroth the Hebrew zodiac
He was born in the 15th century when they invented the letter 'j'
You dont know o dear man has given or the church has given the date 25 12 ? James
NELSON! GET THIS!
IT REGARDS THE ALIGNMENT IN 2017
At the time of the birth of Jupiter the Sun was on Virgos shoulder!
Strong's says the Hebrew word for shoulder, Katheph, comes from an unused root meaning 'to clothe'!!!
Strong's h3802
- Lexical: כָּתֵף
- Transliteration: katheph
- Part of Speech: Noun Feminine
- Phonetic Spelling: kaw-thafe'
- Definition: shoulder, shoulder blade, side.
Thanks for the information on The Hebrew word for shoulder
Concerning the Sheppard on being in Jerusalem for Sukkot. If we take the premise that Yeshua had to be born on a Mo’diem. And if we use your logic that the Shepard had to be in Jerusalem for Sukkot so they could be out in the field. Well then what about Joseph and Mary? They were in Bethlehem we know that and not Jerusalem. Or is Bethlehem close enough since it is only 2 miles away?
Not only was it not his birthday, but most pagun Gods were said to be born on dec.25,so by worship on dec.25 who are you worshiping.? It matters !!!!!
If Jesus started his ministry at the end of the 69th week and was cut off in the mist of the 70th week. Wouldn’t that leave only 3 and 1/2 years left in the prophecy of 70 weeks?
My view is none of the 70th week has begun yet. I have a number of reasons that I believe that.
As for me and my house......we don't "celebrate" on the 25th....
One can observe Hanukkah this year like we do on that date
Can you show what is going on on Nisan 1 in those years? I just watch Jonathan Cahn show the birth date was then, then He would have been born, began His ministry and died about the same time!! John @ tells us at the wedding of Cana , Nisan 3, it wasn't yet His time, but 11 days latter it was!!!
Please show one verse that exempts shepherds from having to go to the city of their father.
LUKE 2:1-5 (World Messianic Bible)
1 Now in those days, a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled.
Give or take a few years
70 AD just a Shadow of things to come a Prelude to future events,
If one uses the right calendar, the birth date of Yahawashi is not difficult to decipher.
It is said that the first 300 yrs of Christianity, the Church didn't celebrate Jesus s birthday?
Exactly frank
Thanks kuiama
