- In this extra long Christmas Special we use God's Word as well as the historical records of the Greek Historian Flavius Josephus to arrive at the true birthday for our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Magi did not visit Jesus at His birth, but later as "a child" almost two years old! So how can what you say be trusted if you think they were there at His birth?
I've heard this theory several times. The word used for "child" in Matthew chapter 2 verse 11 is παιδίον "paidion" and refers to "a little child, an infant or a little one." And due to their being from the east, they would have seen the Bethlehem star appear much sooner than those in Israel.
Furthermore, Luke chapter 2 specifically states that Joseph was already from Nazareth and not Bethlehem. The only reason for them to be in Bethlehem at the time of Jesus's birth was for the census commanded by Cesar Augustus when Quirinius was governor of Syria. At 2 years old, Jesus would have been living in Nazareth, the home of his father and not in Bethlehem.
I hope that helps you understand why I chose to state this. Either way, knowledge of the exact date of His birth truly doesn't matter. What matters is the faith in Him as Lord and that His birth ushered in the beginning of the end of sin and death. This was just a fun exercise to see if we could come to the correct date.

Number one, the Scripture does NOT capitalize the word "sun" as you did, falsely implying that the "sun" is to be worshiped. The Scripture does NOT condone "sun" worship. It directs the reader to follow the "SON!"
This is what the Scripture ACTUALLY says. And you can see... by keeping it in the CONTEXT in which it was written, that the Lord was telling Malachi about "the day" that HE will send "fire to burn like a furnace" and destroy EVERY evildoer. But those who "Revere HIS Name" will not be affected by that. It also points out, that is it GOD and GOD ALONE who will "ACT" to make that happen. NOT the acts of any person or "man-made" religion, or "man-made" religions false interpretations.
“1 Surely THE DAY IS COMING; it will BURN LIKE A FURNACE. ALL the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and THE DAY that is coming WILL SET THEM ON FIRE,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them.
2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

JESUS also spoke on that! Read Matthew 7:21-23 and SEE FOR YOURSELF what JESUS says to those who BASTARDIZE HIS HOLY NAME for the sake of "their man-made religion." Because NOT EVERYONE who runs around the planet doing evil deeds and claiming that they're doing it "IN JESUS NAME," is going to make it into Heaven!
"21 NOT everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER who is in heaven. 22 MANY WILL SAY TO ME ON THAT DAY, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy IN YOUR NAME and IN YOUR NAME drive out demons and IN YOUR NAME perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU. If you want some more EYE OPENING TRUTH about what JESUS thinks of "man-made" religious organizations, and the people who perpetrate that garbage... read the entire chapter 23 of Matthew! 6 times JESUS starts out with "YOU Pharisees and Teachers of the Law," YOU HYPOCRITES!" HE is calling the "religious leaders" HYPOCRITES.
Then JESUS goes on to tell the "religious leaders" that they are "Snakes, Vipers, Brood of Vipers, Blind Fools, and Blind Guides!" And then HE tells them that "they are NOT going to Heaven, nor will they allow anyone who is trying to." (vs. 13). And then HE says to them: "You Snakes. You Brood of Vipers, how will you escape being condemned to Hell?" (vs. 33)
JESUS also does NOT want any of HIS FOLLOWERS to take part IN ANY PAGAN RITUALS!
Which INCLUDES the worship of "Eshtar," the goddess of fertility (i.e. where the word "easter" comes from, and using the traditional signs of fertility such as "easter eggs" and "easter bunnies" in their worship of the goddess of fertility), and the worship of "Herodias, the sun god," who was literally born ON Dec. 25th, by changing the name of the PAGAN "Sol Invictus Celebration" to "the Christ MASS," which they later shortened to "christmas."
Side Note: The catholics call their church services a "mass." And the only other "religion" that calls their services a "mass," is the church of satan... do you see the correlation there?

For their ways are worthless!" Then it proceeds to talk about "cutting a tree out of the forest, and fastening it so it won't totter, and trimming it, and adorning it with gold and silver!

I found another article that follows the star of David and the census. That one came up to be September on or around the 8th - the 12th. IDK. This one makes sense. But the other one also goes by where the animals are. They're still in the fields. An Angel plus a lot more, told the shepherds to go and see. They would be bringing the animals in at night somewhere early October.

Find out when John the Baptist was born and you will know that Jesus was born 6mos later.
Yes very perceptive also look to the heavens to see years later when the kings mentioned in Matthew's gospel. Therefore Jesus was about two years old when Joseph and Mary had to flee to Egypt. Then look back some years for the actual birth. Look for a more accurate time line.
john was conceived just after his fathers (zacharias) priestly course had ended, Which was the course of Abijah, with was the 8th course and was in June. So John was conceived in June. When his mother met Maty, it was the 6th month of her pregnancy.which would be November-Dec. This when Jesus was conceived. John was 6 ,months older that Jesus and bothe wer about 30 years old at the start of their ministries. This would Make Jesus' birth aug-sept. And also fulfillment of the Feat of Tabernacles.

So every twelve weeks, that family would be in the temple. It can be debated, on what month did the courses start. If you assume that they started.on the first month. (Abib, or known now as Nissan). All you do is count 8 weeks from the first day of the first month. Since Abijah coures was the 8th. That's 56 days, but add another week because all the courses would serve during passover. So at least 63 days. I would say add another week to give old Zach time to get home and lay with his wife. Now you are looking at 70 days. So john was.concieved around Pentacost. Maybe even the same day. That's usually in our late may. So John was 6 months old in Nov-dec. Mary conceived at that time. Now count 9 months. You are looking at Aug-Sept. Thus likely during Sukkot for Jesus' birth.

I did not arrive at a date, only a rough time period of about two weeks between late February and early March.
You can search for "Birth of Christ Timeline, Liberty Pastor" if you want to watch it. I don't think we can prove any specific day, nor do I think God wants us to. The fact is more important than when; and His death and the reason for His death is most important.
His birthday was not revealed for us to love him everyday of our life not only in dec 25 to remember him but throuout our lives...so as to tell ourselves christmas everyday...love everyday because Jesus is love!

Christians that celebrate Christmas, Easter, and worship on Sunday always use this very excuse for every time when evidence is too overwhelming. They’ll say it doesn’t matter as long as we worship him. But you are still designating a day to do it. Then get it right. Sabbath is on Saturday, birthday is on March 20. Christmas, Easter, and Sunday worship all came from paganism originally.

The funny thing I think is that Nimrod was actually born on Dec 25. I heard years ago, biblical scholars, astronomy experts and someone else came up with April 13.

I believe that Christ was born around the time of the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles which occurs during September or October. He was about 33 1/2 years old at His crucifixion which was on the Passover which is in the spring.

The "Sol Invictus Celebration" had been taking place for 400 YEARS BEFORE JESUS was ever born! And it was celebrated EVERY YEAR for 400 YEARS BEFORE JESUS was born, to "honor the birth of the Roman PAGAN sun god!" They had noticed that at this time of year, the "days start getting longer" so in their interpretation of that, they dreamed up the idea that "the sun god" was blessing them with more sun and more daylight. So, they "worship" the "sun god" for giving them more daylight, which also means more warmth.
And... the way that the PAGANS celebrated it, is almost EXACTLY the same way it is celebrated today in countries all around the world. The christmas trees, the decorations, the giving and receiving of gifts, the Holly, the Mistletoe, the bright & shiny Silver and Gold, they used to use "candles" for the lights, but today they use "electric lights." And even the falacy of the "santa clause, or saint nick, or Kris Kringle," dates back to BEFORE JESUS Birth.

However, you're partly right, about the fact that it was NEVER celebrated as the "birth of JESUS" until it was declared by the UNHOLY catholic church as a so-called "christian" holiday, and they "re-named" it and began calling it "the Christ Mass." Where do people get live evergreen trees from? They CUT them OUT OF THE FOREST!
They bring them into their homes and SHAPE IT, or as they say "TRIM IT" with tools, to make it look perfect.
They ADORN IT with SILVER & GOLD; then they FASTEN IT with a hammer and nails so that IT WILL NOT TOTTER and FALL OVER!
I've had "religious people" actually try to JUSTIFY themselves for DISOBEYING GOD, by telling me that this verse of SCRIPTURE is referring to "totem poles" and not "christmas trees." Therefore, in their minds, that makes it okay for them to DISOBEY GOD'S HOLY WORD!
But I have never seen a "totem pole" ADORNED with GOLD & SILVER. And I have never seen a "totem pole" being used as part of a "celebration" of any PAGAN rituals. And going by the wording of the SCRIPTURE it sounds very clearly that this SCRIPTURE is NOT at all about "totem poles" but it most certainly IS about "christmas trees." Because it DESCRIBES the "christmas tree" PERFECTLY! And it does NOT describe a "totem pole" perfectly, or at all!
Worshiping satan, on the exact same day that satan wants you to worship him, and in exactly the same way that satan wants you to worship him, with ALL of the same rituals and traditions intact, that satan has put into his celebrations... and then merely "changing the name" of that celebration, and claiming that you're "worshiping satan" in the name of JESUS or to honor JESUS birth... Does NOT REALLY make it a "christian" holiday!
A "Rose" by ANY other name is still a "Rose!"
And "changing the name" of a PAGAN ritual and tradition, and "calling it" a "christian" holiday, doesn't make it a REAL "christian" holiday, any more than eating at McDonalds makes you a "Big Mac." Or, any more than a man "PLAYING DRESS UP" as woman, makes him into a REAL woman!

JESUS, NEVER HAD ANY PART IN THE "christmas" TRADITION TO BEGIN WITH.
So, how can you "put him back into it" when HE was NEVER a part of it to begin with?
Do you KNOW WHY people will FREQUENTLY use the term "X-mas" rather than "christmas?"
Because the "X" actually represents "DELETING" or "X'ING OUT" the part of the word that it is replacing.
Thus, replacing "Christ" with an "X," is literally DELETING "Christ" OUT of the word "christmas!"
According to what the SCRIPTURE actually says... TRUE CHRISTIANS (i.e. those who actually FOLLOW JESUS... and actually "DO" what JESUS DID, and do "NOT DO" what JESUS DID NOT DO) would never "take part" in such a PAGAN ritual. Only those who follow MAN-MADE religious organizations "take part" in those PAGAN rituals.

I saw a different program that suggested the fall, around September. One thing is for sure, our savior was not born in December for sure!

If your not baptized into the body of Jesus Christ your still lost. John Chapter 3 verse 5 through 8. If you believe you will take the next step. If you don't believe you won't take the next step. How many times does God have to say something before it's true? ONE TIME. How many times has God told us you have to be baptized into the body of Jesus Christ in order to go to heaven? By the way baptism is not a work. It's a commitment to follow what God has told us to do so many times. A work is yourselve spreading the good news of salvation getting as many people to come to the word. Respect it do nothing more or less. God only wants to know one thing. Did you do what he has commanded you to do. Ephesians chapter 4. How many faiths are there? How many baptism are there? How many churches are there that is acceptable to God? ONE, TO ALL 3 QUESTIONS ABOVE. Either you respect God's word or you don't.
If, if the exact date of birth of Christ were really important, then - be sure - the Bible whoud have mentioned it.
This is exactly my argument. If it is so important, the bible wouldn't have missed mentioning it. The truth is nobody knows the exact date for sure. But the Catholic Church insists that it is on December 25 inspite of the bible forbidding anybody to add anything to what it says. Insist on a date the bible did not mention is exactly doing what it says we don't do -- add.
Not everything is in the Bible. The word Bible isn't in the Bible, and the Bible doesn't mention that it would be just one book composed uniting many. The Bible is important, is inspired by the Holy Spirit, but there are somethings that came before it also by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and it's interpretation was made with the Holy Spirit. But remember: the Holy Spirit was given in the Pentecost to the Apostles, and their sucessors are the Bishops. You can have a Bible today because of the Catholic Church, wether you like it or not. The Catholic Church was who defined the books which composes the Bible as authentic and inspirated.

@@primsandwhims7533 My friend, we are the firsts to proclaim that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. But He came through Mary. He could came for Himself, but He chose to came through Mary. She absolutely isn't a goddess. But she is the Mother of God, Mother of the true God made flesh. Perhaps you have some difficulties with this term, but if you believe that Jesus is God, and that Mary is Jesus' Mother, you must believe that Mary is the Mother of God. Not in the sense that she created God, no, we catholics don't believe that. But in the sense that in Jesus there are two natures, human and divine, but just one Person, the Second Person of the Trinity, God with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Nobody is a mother of a nature, but of a person. If the Christ's humanity was taken of her, she is the mother of a Divine Person made flesh. And Christ honoured her, He fulfilled the fourth commandment. We can and need to honour her above other creatures, because her mission and dignity was greater than any mission and dignity gave to humans: give to God the human nature. Christ's flesh was taken of her. We honour her, but behind God, of course. He is not a creature. Jesus is God, He is not a creature. God gave to Mary all graces. He should be adored. Mary not. But we have to honour her as the Mother of my Lord(Luke 1:43).
@@primsandwhims7533 Concerning confession, we don't believe the priest himself forgives sins. It's Christ who forgives. The priest is his minister, who uses the power He gave to the Apostles: Receive the Holy Spirit: To whom you forgive the sins, they shall be forgiven; and to whom you don't forgive, they shall be retained. (John 20: 22-23). The apostles were bishops, were priests. To them the Lord made the command to celebrate His Eucharist, His Supper, at the Last Supper, in his commemoration.
As long as we acknowledge His birth and pay homage and reverence to His being born as man to show us the way.

Well, we know he wasn't a half-grown boy, lol, that would put Jesus at 6 years old (based on the bar mitzvah which is an ushering into manhood that's done at age 12). Even if he were two years old, a toddler is NOT ever considered a half-grown boy; So the text clearly means infant (as in: a baby). Also, the Hebrew word for 'house' matters. We had to keep the purification laws and other laws, no exception. Yeshua HAD TO BE brought forth for His consecration on the exact day scheduled according to law, no exceptions. He couldn't fail in this; To fail to show up for dedication would've disqualified Him as a sinless lamb. Your presentation matches best. I'm curious though, have you ever done a presentation on *when* Zechariah served in the Temple and received word of Elizabeth becoming pregnant? I ask because Mary got pregnant around the same time. Passover lambs had to be one year old. That means they had to be born around a year before they were to be sacrificed - passover time. Bethlehem area raised lambs specifically for passover, meaning they would breed their lambs to be one year old at passover. That is why they were out in their fields watching their flocks - around passover time, not 5-6 months later. Lambs are not born in the fall because it is too cold for them in the winter. Lambs are naturally born in the spring time.
Also, the bible does not say that Jesus was two years old when Herod slaughtered the children. Herod was afraid of Jesus on day one. He would not have waited two years to carry out this panic driven slaughter. The magi were clearly tipped off early by God to have enough time to get to Bethlehem at the right time. Herod just went by the time the magi first left for their journey and then added several months, or a year, just to be safe.

Christ was born in the fall. The shepherds were still out in the fields with their flocks. This means probably fall but late fall since they writers point it out that they were “still” in fields. I highly support that it was on one of the feast days. Nothing is by accident with God. Especially his birth. His death was on a feast day. Go and listen to Rabbi Jonathan Cahn (on Messiah's birth,) who gives an excellent logical, deduction from the scriptures itself to fix the time of Jesus' birth. You will be amazed how God arranged every detail to authenticate His TRUE MESSIAH, fulfilling every prophecy to send His Passover Lamb to take away the sins of the World.

It is said in the Bible that when Jesus was born the Shepard’s were out tending their flock. Shepard’s did not tend their flocks in the winter. They tend their flock sometime late spring thru the fall. In the spring the Lambs give birth and that’s when the Shepard’s tend to the flock at night in case they give birth.

What's the problem of putting a Christian meaning in a pagan holiday? Now it has a Christian meaning! St. Paul used the Unknown God of the greek pagans to evangelize them. We don't run from things that have not a Cross, we put a Cross in them.

For me when he was born is not as important as the fact he was born. I was brought up that Christmas was when we honoured the fact he was born but that he was born in spring.
But in your heart of hearts if you truly believe in him is what day he was actually born on important or is the things he done for all of us the important fact of the whole thing. For me it is the fact he was born and full filed all that he was to full fill for us.

In the OT "YHWH" in Hebrew is what is meant when they write in English "LORD" and "God" means "Elohim." Not being bossy here but suggesting this as something for you to try. I am American born and raised but using the actual name of Yahweh instead of LORD and Elohim instead of God has added definition and personalization in reading the English translations. When listening to it being read it shows who is speaking LORD Yahweh or Lord Elohim/Yeshua especially when both are referenced in the same passage. He is LORD of Lords and KIng of kings but there is only one God with either the name of YHWH or Elohim no other gods have a holy name. I have heard a lot of testimonies similar to "God if you are real then please show me" and the person identifies their prayer being answered By Jesus/Yeshua/Yehushua. He is big enough not to be offended with our lack of understanding otherwise he would not have answered and a soul would not have been saved. In the OY he told the Hebrews to spread abroad his name to the heathen. Instead they hid it. Now most of the world don't know him by any means other than God or Jesus. Even today we are just only beginning to understand Yahweh as our Father and Jeshua (Yeshua) our Elohim. The confusion is there because the devil does not want us to personalize GOD as our own. Why we might even become dedicated believers and act upon it. Blessings to you!

Jonathan Cahn, a Jewish rabbi convert to Christianity, does a very good explanation of this on a You Tube video. He uses biblical observation and Jewish tradition to make his claim. I think it's pretty accurate, though, I do admit, I am no scholar in either.

And Scriptures do reveal that our Messiah was born, not only in Spring, but precisely during Passover!!! The best revelations in Luke 1 was the key word "Abijah" or more correctly, "Abiyah" and those that know and understand the Torah well know it is during either the 1st Month in Spring or the 7th Month in the Fall, then other clues would nail it to Spring, and then during Passover!!!
I have a debate with a high ranking pastor, and he admitted that the Messiah was not born during December, and told me they chose December 25 because, to make to story short, close to other pagan big holiday...which today known as Christmas. He then asked me where in the Bible does it reveal that our Messiah was born...and when? And I answered him, "you are a pastor and you are asking me?" And he knew what I meant...
If you do a history research you will find the real reason why the Catholic Church chose December 25. In fact, all Christian holidays are NOT biblical but pagan, and Scriptures tell us why. @@jc2coming The Catholic Church instituted a lot of paganism into Christianity, solely for the purpose to make it more palatable for the pagans to "consume." Too me, the most notorious being Transubstantiation. The pagans needed this blood sacrifice ritual to buy into the RCC doctrine. I'm an ex-Catholic, with all the studying I've done on their history, I see right through their adaptation of paganism.

I was very angry with the pastors when I confronted them about the lies they knowingly taught. I could not believe none of them could refute the truth...and all these happened when I have not read/know Scriptures, only after each debates I realized it was not I alone but the Ruach/Spirit of The Father has spoken through me. One of the purpose was for me to see that NONE of them would believe, just as He told us in Yahuchanan/John 6:44-45 and many other places...for we do not choose Him but that He chose us, even before the foundation of the world, as Scriptures foretold - HallelyYah!!!

Although I don't celebrate Christmas or Esther, I would agree with this documentary. God has a perfect plan for man's redemption. He was born on a Friday, He died on a Friday, that's perfect.
What I don't understand is why people are again making a fuss about the fact that we now actually know the correct birth date of Jesus. It has never been claimed that Jesus was born on December 25. Because the birth of Jesus was not known, the more or less pagan festival of lights, which celebrated the passing of the shortest day around this date, was used to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Not Jesus' birthday, but his birth. Like so many commemorations, such as the soldiers who died in both world wars, of course did not die on these dates. That was very interesting and your math and deductions seem sound. I'm personally happy to know the date of our saviors birth but we were never told to celebrate it anyway, so whether we celebrate on the 25th of December or March 2nd doesn't really matter... At the end of the day lets all celebrate his birth every day and do as he told us, Love God above all and love thy neighbor as thy self.

Life begins at conception. The angel appeared “6 months” after John. That is known to be very close to June 24-25, as his father’s service, as shown in the gospel was just before, and he walked home, as shown in the gospels. Therefore, life started very close to Dec 25, 6 months after John the Baptist was conceived. Born of the water would be 9 months later, in September.
