Sir, when you can't play the game evenly, change the scoring parameters. If you have to prove Venue better car than Nexon, then definitely you will pick Bottle spaces, features which make you decide which car you buy. I have been driving for 20 years and have never met anyone who has bought the car which has more waterbottle spaces or charging points. People carry powerbanks as they can't carry cars everywhere and carry Milton bottles to keep water chilled and keep refilling. But that is why Venue is a better car than Nexon. #Pappushit
The problem here is that Indians are again being dazzled by slick adverts. Yes Nexon has 5 stars NCAP. But EcoSport, venue and xuv300 have safety features (ESP, TSC and HLA) that prevent crashes. It would be great if Tata can bring in a new top end variant that has more features.
Even if Tata builds a five star car with no brakes, some people are gonna keep bragging that it's the safest. That's how deluded they get with these star ratings.
Who needs gadgets when there drive and comfort matters most? Nexon and Ecosport are the better cars in this lot and everyone knows that. Only if Tata could get a bit more equipment and upgrades in the Nexon, it could be there up at best.
The ford ecosport you are reviewing has 4 charging points and not 3(as mentioned in the video).Just check the right side corner of the passenger seat for the 4th one.
Ecosport is best in handling, music quality is also second to none. only problem is creepy foot space in rear, i mean u cannot squeeze back ur foot bcz no space bellow rear seat. XUV has the most beautiful cabin... only high price is the dealbreaker.
One of the best comparisons I've ever come across. I own a Hyundai Venue. Although it scored best in the segment, there are many issues, which I think may be is just in my vehicle (Unfortunately). These being on the technical side, Hyundai have yet not been able to rectify. Other than those, everything is good.
Some of the scoring in this test is really strange and hard to understand on a reasonable basis. For example, see the waterbottle test from 11.20-12.20 in the video. Both Venue and Nexon can take 6 bottles as per Overdrive but Venue scores a 7 and Nexon only a 4! And, Venue and XUV300 are scored higher than Nexon on safety. Really? Just because they have additional airbags on the top trim option. But there is no evidence to show that overall impact on passenger safety, whereas Nexon is tested and certified to be NCAP 5 star rating. Just correctign these two mistakes places Nexon at the top of this comparison. Even if you consider water bottles to be as important as parameters like ride and handling and safety. So, was Overdrive just feeling a compulsive need to call the newer models better?
Great comparison with multiple criteria. Just a thought, may be you can include headlamp focus and light throw as one of the criteria for future comparisons. That's an important parameter for safety at night.
weight of xuv is 1405 kg and weight of brezza is 1185 kg so,try to understand brezza is made of cheap quality of plastic and metal and to much of cost cutting

Biased review.. Venue promotion Nexon 7 for safety Other then bottle holding it was about to get most points Only complain with nexon is it's infotainment system which is really not user friendly
Excellent review. Two key things you are missing: 1. After-sales support - this is the BIGGEST Category, and a game changer. 2. Weightages - Need to consider how important are features to a typical Indian mindset. Do not believe all of these params are at the same level. Great video - one of the best one's I have seen
Idiots commenting about safety, it is explained that other factors such as the number of airbags are taken into consideration. That does matter in a crash. Or you guys can swallow only the BS that TATA fans and showroom guys say..? Get a life idiots. And the build quality in Tatas is as bad as it gets, very inconsistent. Acceleration- the brezza is a very light car and the 1.3 multijet revs freely for a diesel. The turbo lag does bog it down in the rolling test, so no problem there. Handling- a lightweight car is fun to handle most of the time, and the EcoSport is not that great a handler. Build quality- if thickness of the body panel is the norm for build quality then go get a tank, Tatas are a joke when it comes to build quality.
Nice Review Overdrive. However, I guess you need to have a weighted score. Waterbottle's 10 point is not same as Breaking's 10 points. If some car scores breaking 9 and having waterbottle 4 should not loose to a car which scored breaking 7 and waterbottle 10 Thats an example. Following might be a good weights for the scores [ How much important this feature / view point is to a car ] Luggage - 6 Comfort - 7 Safety - 10 audio - 6 Gadget - 4 waterbottle - 2 parking - 6 [ or 8 in a city ] Fuel Economy - 9 Drivability - 8 Ride - 8 Handling - 8 [ Actually I see you can combine Drivability, Ride, Handling - But its ok to have it seperate also ] Breaking - 10 But what about prices ? Reliability ? Service centres ? Easy Parts ? - These plays a major role in buying !!! Overall, I enjoyed your review Request : Compare Upcoming Nissan Note vs its competitors in Indian market - Leave about the e-power thing. Just ride quality, comfort and things in this video

Water bottle point is hilarious. 4 bottles are more than enough for 5 ppl on trip. Why do we even need more bottle slots. Also the charging ports. 2-3 are again enough. Why do we need 5-6 charging points. And yes, the safety rating was given with high on weed 😂...
Yes, can they accommodate 2 litre bottle in any car. Nexon easily takes it. What's practicality if they think only 1 l bottle and that too in cup holders😅
After collision safety, and safety to avoid collision two different chapter. Those who call 5* rating as safety parameters should understand this simple topic
Nice video. Good practical test. Please incorporate them in your next videos. By the way, any news about Jeep Renegade? Will love to hear about this car from you guys.
Ridiculously good video...very helpful...need to include more on engine, transmission etc....videos can be made even more elaborate...which will actually be helpful..
Amazing comparison and quite a different way to review. However you could have included price that justfies all the points... One more thing..I don't understand you logic in safety. How come nexon is only 7 in safety when it got 5* rating. Other cars don't even have any rating at all. Do you think providing air bags is only safety with out shell integrity..I don't agree with this point... Your airbag logic is completely wrong...
Great video very entertaining and informative. Shows the strengths and weaknesses of every car. Personally I like the ecosport for its strengths mentioned in this video but I can understand why it didn't win overall.
I am really confused between the Ecosport Titanium + and Nexon XZS. A lot of highway munching to be done and sunroof is a requirement. I am okay with the space in the Ecosport. How big of an issue is the clutch of the Ecosport (read loads of reviews that it gets very stiff very quickly)?

Venue ne Engine nikal ke Mobile free diya hai. Khelo Grahak Khelo.
Tata reduced the features so that nexon could become a good 'value for money car'
The moment you said a Brezza handled better than the EcoSport, I was done.
For what
that was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
What issues?
Sir which car is better, ecosport titanium or venue sx turbo both petrol
Great comparison with multiple criteria. Just a thought, may be you can include headlamp focus and light throw as one of the criteria for future comparisons. That's an important parameter for safety at night.
I think this is by far one of the best comparisons. The factors on which the comparison has been made are practical and meaningful. Keep ot up!
weight of xuv is 1405 kg
and weight of brezza is 1185 kg
so,try to understand brezza is made of cheap quality of plastic and metal and to much of cost cutting
I know duster does not come in the sub 4 meter cars...but price wise..yes...I wonder why it's not even mentioned..for the sake of the customers..
Brezza is an outdated one..but people still buying that toy😂
I believe in safety-build quality- performance and fun to drive, so I’ll go for Ford ecosport blindly 😎💪
bhag gayi ford
I think if xuv300 would have petrol automatic and connected feature like venue than xuv 300 will be best subcompact suv in all...venue is bogus car and ecosport have bad interior
Deepak saini rrggn.3e
It's the promotional video for the venue😂😂
The car is so good that....it makes reviews like it's promotional video😅
@@manoja538 In which manner is it good😂😂
@@Ankitpatidar95 except leg room . All fronts
Felt the same in first few minutes
@@manoja538 have you driven it for a long drive, it's petrol engine is puny, the steering is too light on high speeds, suspension is too soft, has less ground clearance. Car is small and feels small especially back seats. It's by no way a driver's car.
I would say the real winner based on scores is nexon . even with a score of 4 in bottle holding department, it scores 93 ,which indicates a good score in other important departments.
Nexon is best choice
Nexon and EcoSport are close ..with Nexon edging out in space as is wider and much more roomier
Venue seriously??? It scored so low in the power department, we literally heard ull say 'cant carry 5 people with ease' and handling is also not up to the mark and still Venue is 95??? Go recheck!
Nexon Safety 7/10 lol 😂😂😂 ye toh ncap ke bhi baap hai
You don't buy a car for how quickly it can be parked. Rather you buy a car and learn to park it quickly.
Ecosport is king of this segment don't missleads peopls they know all your paid marketing statics
1.ecosport in segment & premium
1.nexon in safty , stability ,affodibilty & now revotron engine is also doing well as compare with past expirence with tata moter
1.brezza in mileage ,service, engine relability best in class all
1.xuv 300 in premium ,mahindra promisses in suv segment ,bild quality
1.venue in rich in feature only
Hight cost not justify, low power, less milage comare to all, compact, high mantanance,
Your spellings are torture for my eyes
safest car of country has scored least in your comparision. Great work guys, your standard is so high. No one considers gadget friendlness and water bottle holding capacity while purchasing car. I purchsed NEXON only because of safety and comfort. Can live with low fuel economy but safest car tag gives peace of mind.
Just watched 19 Minutes long advertisement of Hyundai Venue
I too am a Nexon owner bro :)
Biased review..
Venue promotion
Nexon 7 for safety
Other then bottle holding it was about to get most points
Only complain with nexon is it's infotainment system which is really not user friendly
Build quality- if thickness of the body panel is the norm for build quality then go get a tank, Tatas are a joke when it comes to build quality.
ignorance is bliss😂
Nice Review Overdrive. However, I guess you need to have a weighted score. Waterbottle's 10 point is not same as Breaking's 10 points. If some car scores breaking 9 and having waterbottle 4 should not loose to a car which scored breaking 7 and waterbottle 10
Thats an example. Following might be a good weights for the scores [ How much important this feature / view point is to a car ]
Luggage - 6
Comfort - 7
Safety - 10
audio - 6
Gadget - 4
waterbottle - 2
parking - 6 [ or 8 in a city ]
Fuel Economy - 9
Drivability - 8
Ride - 8
Handling - 8 [ Actually I see you can combine Drivability, Ride, Handling - But its ok to have it seperate also ]
Breaking - 10
But what about prices ? Reliability ? Service centres ? Easy Parts ? - These plays a major role in buying !!!
Overall, I enjoyed your review
Request : Compare Upcoming Nissan Note vs its competitors in Indian market - Leave about the e-power thing. Just ride quality, comfort and things in this video
Though I dont agree with your views on some parameters, I must say this is probably the most practical test done by OD that I know of.
Good job!
Which would be the best drivers car?
Ecosport👍
Mahindra xuv 300 is the legend
1 year 40000 kms on the top diesel ecosport. Car feels solid and I feel safe. For my family of 6 I am buying a nexon from this review. Another 5 star ncap champ like the ecosport
Water bottle point is hilarious. 4 bottles are more than enough for 5 ppl on trip. Why do we even need more bottle slots. Also the charging ports. 2-3 are again enough. Why do we need 5-6 charging points. And yes, the safety rating was given with high on weed 😂...
They want these cars to transport water to the draught affected areas!
Yes, can they accommodate 2 litre bottle in any car.
Nexon easily takes it. What's practicality if they think only 1 l bottle and that too in cup holders😅
I like the audio test...most reviewers dont do that...and for some people music is more important than the cars😂
After collision safety, and safety to avoid collision two different chapter. Those who call 5* rating as safety parameters should understand this simple topic
So what are extra features on venue that make it avoid collision ?
Nexon brakes the shortest n has a 5 star rating after collision! Makes it the best either ways!
So according to overdrive Hyundai Venue has the same handling as Ford EcoSport....😂😂
Does not seem to be test with correct parameters, XUV definitely the best.
Nice video. Good practical test.
Please incorporate them in your next videos.
By the way, any news about Jeep Renegade? Will love to hear about this car from you guys.
If removes water bottle test then nexon is the clear winner....nexon rocks..👍
They somehow wanted to make venue no1. water holding capacity, WTF man
Thank you so much for this comparison video helped a lot
vageesh r this is based on wrong facts. See the comments section
I think Hyundai venue is the best . It offering lot of features and overall comfort..
Ridiculously good video...very helpful...need to include more on engine, transmission etc....videos can be made even more elaborate...which will actually be helpful..
Well , according to me xuv300 top this segment . Like it if u feel the same .
Nexon is the safest car with 5 star global NCAP rating, and Indian too,
Even Nexon could be fitted with a sunroof from the showrrom itself!!! But not a factory fitted one...
in nexon ,hexa, and harrier sunroof in next facelift, trial pic are already out
it omitted for safety aspect... what will happened in turnaround cases ? need a helmet... right?
Which is better brezza or xuv 300 for city as well as highway?
EcoSport is good one next Nexon 🔥
How is light throw on road between venue and Nexon during night ?
How it is when a car with high beam during night time for venue and Nexon ?
Nexon> Eco sport> xuv 300> venue> brezza
I really love the way that you compared the cars . This is really useful to the buyers to pic the one the are looking for
Xuv300 is beast 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing comparison and quite a different way to review. However you could have included price that justfies all the points...
One more thing..I don't understand you logic in safety. How come nexon is only 7 in safety when it got 5* rating. Other cars don't even have any rating at all. Do you think providing air bags is only safety with out shell integrity..I don't agree with this point... Your airbag logic is completely wrong...
.. before I watch the full video ..I ended in comments box ... thanks guys ..I save my 18.50 minutes of my life..🙏🙏
Great video very entertaining and informative. Shows the strengths and weaknesses of every car. Personally I like the ecosport for its strengths mentioned in this video but I can understand why it didn't win overall.
Ecosport is d best....do some research bro before presenting...
Please advise... For a Budget of 9L on road final.
Is "Venue-S Petrol Manual T" better than "Nexon XM/XT+ Petrol Manual T"?
The song they are listening to is Thomas Gold - Sing to Me .... You're welcome 🎶
Good review! Very helpful for the real world!
Very informative review in terms of practical use. Also liked the review style for its simplicity (without any flashy bgms and graphics).
I am thinking of buying car from above category....which car you prefer....plz reply
Nexon scored 5/5 in ncap test...
How on earth is the tin can brezza safer???
Biased review
I am really confused between the Ecosport Titanium + and Nexon XZS. A lot of highway munching to be done and sunroof is a requirement. I am okay with the space in the Ecosport.
How big of an issue is the clutch of the Ecosport (read loads of reviews that it gets very stiff very quickly)?
Are you sure the Nexon score
only 7 for safety?
Plz correct your calculation on right way and make total score below venue 😂😂
did venue passed crash test from indian vehicle segment ?
Well detailed comparison.
This is worst review i ever watched.
Hyundai owner i think.
Venue venue and venue.
Aur kuch isko dikh nai raha. Usi mein betha raha poore reciew mein🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hello.. I’m 6-ft-4. Which car would you recommend for me?
Best comparison till date !
All the practicality matters.
Keep up the good work..!!
Thanks,
For basic application wise comparison.
Charging ports and water bottles? What was i watching
amazing review.. these points are supposed to be included in a proper review .. the real world stuff and not just good and bad things overall.. keep up the good work..
Brilliant review👍👍
I am awaiting Nexon with 6 airbags and 8 bottle holders to score 99
😆😆😆
🤣😆
😜😜😜👍🏻
for me quality and safety is the top priority.. i am very satisfied with ford ecosport. i love driving and ecosport seem the best to me
what is the mileage? my manager had ecosport and she sold because it gave only 9 KPL..
Nexon and EcoSport any day. Rest are all shitty drives with tech features which are just eye wash and don't last long.
Great video... Many thanks for making this
