I wouldn’t either. But the way they play is boring. Camping under the basket and throwing up shots is not fun to watch. Clark plays like an actually good basketball player.

Personally I would like to see just those two in a gym... doing their 3-pt workouts and talkin' shop.
You have to understand... the size of the court is the same. But Steph Curry rarely casts up a shot from the logo. Caitlin Clark does it regularly. I think the joy with which both Steph and Caitlin play is a huge part of their popularity. People who don't usually like, certainly don't understand, and don't ever watch basketball... are now tracking and watching Caitlin Clark play whenever they can. She's that good.
She's also not a jerk a la Angel Reese. Clark is respectful and grateful for the coaches she's had and for her teammates at every level. As Lebron James said, "Basketball is a team game."
That said, watching Steph and Caitlin on those long, long shots they put up is like a kid during the last 10 days before Christmas... the waiting can be pretty delicious all by itself.
