Jasper, Georgia is an amazing town just outside of the Atlanta area, and it’s considered the first mountain town in Georgia! Today, I’ll take you around Jasper and show you a few homes at a few different price points so you can see if Jasper is a good fit for you, whether you plan to move here permanently, or if you’re looking for an amazing vacation home. Jasper has it all!
Jasper is such a beautiful town, and it offers a ton to eat, amazing homes of all shapes and sizes, and absolutely breathtaking views of the mountains. It’s situated right at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, so you’ll find incredible hiking, biking, swimming, and more in this unique, historic town.
One of the things that many people enjoy about Jasper, aside from the obvious pristine, serene views and sites you get every day when you look out the window of your home, is the fact that so many of the communities are gated and kept up extremely well. Many of the single family homes in this area have pretty much all-inclusive amenities within the communities, so that makes living in those areas of Jaspers really convenient, no matter what life stage you’re in.
There are, however, many homes in the $200,000 range that are perfect for a first-time homebuyer, or someone who may be interested in a second home or vacation rental, and no matter what, you’re guaranteed a beautiful scene around your home - you can’t get away from those spectacular views!

I don’t plan on moving anytime soon and I can fully understand if you don’t want to “work” for free, But I was wondering if you know any other cities surrounding Jasper in any direction that you can recommend? If you can, I would greatly appreciate it. If not, no harm done. Either way, Thank you Sir for your video.

No worries, I always love to help out where I can! Ellijay is one you may have heard of and it sits almost just north of Jasper. Ellijay is a beautiful mountain city which comes with great views and plenty to explore. Another scenic city is Blue Ridge which is also nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains. Dahlonega offers mountain views and has a beautiful, historic downtown area. If you are wanting to get further away from the Blue Ridge Mountains, Canton, Woodstock and Cartersville are great areas since they are close to Lake Allatoona and have easy access to Atlanta.
