Hi Sarah, I've looked at the New colours and I did think there was a likeness to the original colours hey-ho they are gorgeous anyway 😊, the blankets look amazing very snuggley perfect for baby ❤ I think poaching or boiling eggs is an art 😅 continue to have wonderful relaxing weekend ,take care xx
Hi Sarah, what a lovely day you had. It is lovely to know you had such a relaxing and yet productive day. So deserved. I didn’t know that Stylecraft had moved their manufacturing from Turkey to England. Great for English workers, likely not so great for Turkey 🤷♀️. I too love blankets in acrylic. So easy to care for and very affordable. Acrylic yarn has come a long way! Love seeing the cat getting some love, I miss my fur baby still, he did like a good brush too 🤩. See you next week - Isabel 🇨🇦🤗
❤❤❤a perfect day for you,Sarah,,,🎉🎉 Love ur new blanket all fresh and done ,,,!!!! Saw the new style craft on wool warehouse site,,,looks lovely,,,😅 My local yarn shop here in Canada Carry's some style craft DK,,,I have gathered a few for blankets,,,,over the years,,,and may use it someday,,,, She doesn't have the new colors,,,, Have a great week,,,and at the retreat,,,,how fun!!!! ELAINE 🏠💗
Enjoyed the run. Well now I know how to use those egg poachers I bought corrently. Lol. Beautiful baby blanket, pretty blue! Glad you had a good day. I’m looking forward to you and friends sharing about the yarn retreat.
So happy to see you running today. I just had a conversation with one of my dear friends about how we both want to resume running. I’m happy to know that I’ll be on the journey with you. I love the baby blanket and I’m glad that you will be sharing more about it on your regular podcast.
Hi and thanks for watching. I’ve gifted the blue blanket. She was very happy with it. So glad I’ve started couch 2 5k again. Just hope I can be consistent with it. 😊
Looks like a lovely day off with crochet and yummy food :) I love doing couch to 5k; I use it a lot just to have the intervals. Also, the baby blanket is gorgeous! It’s funny that you just got the egg poachers. As soon as I saw them I thought I might get some to try.
The baby blanket is lovely 💙 Someone will treasure that for always and as its not too delicate it can be used outside or for a blanket fort once the baby is older 😊 I haven't bought the new Stylecraft colours but Lucy at Attic24 has done a really good blog post (3 or 4 days ago) looking at the colours, how they work together and how they fit with the original colours. Very interesting. Now I'm off to Google silicone egg poachers!
You look so relaxed today Sarah 🥰. Your cardigan looks lovely too. The blue baby blanket looked so soft & cuddly after its wash & tumble. I was wondering if it was crocheted the same way as the grey & white one that you are doing now, as I thought for some reason that the blue one wasn’t crocheted in a square? 🤔. The stylecraft yarn looks amazing & just the thing for a blanket. Unfortunately we can’t seem to get stylecraft yarn over here in Western Australia as I have tried & found a few others that have tried too. So glad that you will be having a wonderful time next week at the Lay family yarns retreat & I hope that we may see a little bit of what you get up to, if you have time. Always lovely to see you Sarah, cheers 😍💕🥰🤗👏❤️
Hi Joan. Thanks for watching. Off to the retreat today. The blue and white and grey blankets are the same pattern. Made going round and round in a square. It’s the Dainty Diamond pattern 😊
I agree with you about some of the Stylecraft colours. They’ve moved their manufacturing from Turkey to the north of England, hopefully opening up the old mills which is lovely. Can you just remind me of the name of the blanket you are making? 😊
A while back I commented that I wished the Felix sweater came in child sizes. Well, I recently found a sweater pattern for children with the same raglan lace detail. It is called the Rosa Little cardigan, if you ever want to make one for a little girl. I am making one now for my niece.
The baby blanket is beautiful. What do you wash it in to make it smell so nice? I always enjoy seeing what you're having for tea. It gives me ideas. I hope the car service wasn't too costly. Enjoy the retreat. X
Hi Anita. Thanks for watching. The car service was free, as we bought a package when I got the car last year. I wash my acrylic makes in my usual washing liquid and lenor softener 😊
The baby blanket is lovely. Well done on starting the Couch to 5K. I've tried it but never completed it. I like running but it doesn't like me😂😂. Lucy Wyndham -Read has a good exercise video series on preparing to run. I completed that and it's very good with lots of tips and stretches. All last year I had Achilles issues so I don't think I should try to run. I do walk and have managed to complete the 1000 mile walking challenge this year. I do weights in my home as a way of keeping strengthening exercises up. Good luck with the running and I hope you enjoy the retreat. ❤
Hi and thanks for watching. Off to the retreat today. Thanks for your exercise tips. I need to build strength. I’ve completed couch 2 5k a few times. Just need to keep it up 😊
Lovely vlog thanks Sarah. Can I ask what is the blanket called? I’d love to do one but would need to follow a tutorial as I struggle with reading patterns!
Hello Sarah, wonderful blanket(s). Could you tell me what crochet hooks you favor most? I'm always looking for new ideas, whether it be yarn, patterns, or hooks. Love your vlogs!
What a perfect start to your weekend Sarah. Your crochet blanket is beautiful, do you have any TH-cam recommendations for crochet tutorials, btw I think you would be a great teacher, it looks so confusing! what size hook should I buy for DK yarn. Enjoy your weekend retreat, look forward to hopefully seeing & hearing all about it on your channel. X
Hi Chris. Thanks for watching. I have taught my daughter and friends to crochet. I did enjoy that. See link to some good videos youtube.com/@woollychic?si=4lhapFW6-E0UnSL2 😊

Hi Elaine. Thanks for watching. Off to the retreat today 😊
I've enjoyed spending time with you. If only we could all be so relaxed and calm! I live in North Carolina, by the way, and I LOVE your accent.

@ it’s consistent baby steps in the right direction for me. I have run some every day since Monday. I am proud of myself. 😊
Love your baby blankets, well done. Did you have to walk back to collect your car? Hope you have a good week, Sarah. X💕
Hi Barbara. Thanks for watching. The last bit of the video is us in the car going to collect my car. 😊
Looks like a lovely day off with crochet and yummy food :)
I love doing couch to 5k; I use it a lot just to have the intervals. Also, the baby blanket is gorgeous!

Hi Erika. Thanks for watching. I wish school used couch 2 5k to help me run. It’s such a good programme 😊
What a beautiful sunset! Hope you enjoyed your curry!
Hi Heather. Thanks for watching. Always enjoy a curry 😊
What a perfect way to spend your day off with your crochet and TH-cam. Bet you’re counting the sleeps until the retreat 🧶❤️
Hi Jules. Thanks for watching. Off to the retreat today 😊
Late to the party as I had a few days in Kent visiting my Mum, Catching up on all the blogs.

Hi Lisa. Thanks for watching. I use the Addi Swing crochet hooks. They look like toothbrushes but are so ergonomic in your hand. 😊
