The veil is such an emotional rollercoaster of a song. What a way to bow out... Honestly only really got into them when they introduced the new vocalist and he has been amazing. every song has been great but this one really does hit different as you say. It's really an emotional song. Listening to this song gives me goosebumps. especially if I watch the video. lol.

I kinda grew out of Metal/Death-core, but I for some reason got a hankering to listen to Winds of Plague's Decimate the Weak album, and I thought to myself what was the name of that one French Christian band on Sumerian records similar to WoP haha. Their 2011 album is still rocks and their new shit is just as good. Cheers.

And no doubt Baptist; Boris; and the others will still be active in the fr metal community, they're just too good to just drop music for good. And as for Rui, it does pain me a lot we won't get to hear more of him in BTM. Hopefully we'll still see him around.

My favourite band that doesn't exist anymore would have to be Feed Her to the Sharks, Strangled (ik Orphan exists) and Breakdown of Sanity kind of. This band was never the same after the first album for me, and just got progressively less interesting with each release, but I definitely liked this the most of the songs with the new vocalist. That said, I don't think I'd ever choose to listen to this over Breathe In Life. It is sad to see them go though, because I think I could have like this sound a good amount, especially over the ep from last year which was just bland imo.
