Good block but if the uppercut is slightly to the inner side of ur body it will slip and evade the block going straight into ur face

Its best to evade an uppercut by a lean back with guards up or side step out of it............caz some are full.uppercuts

Well it’s a good way of blocking it and maybe hurting there hand,other way is using hand to tap it down,but most effective way really is !!!!!,use footwork move away lol,a uppercut is a short punch if your getting hit with it,definitely your fault for being flat footed and standing still,now getting caught by a uppercut on the counter walking into it bit more realistic,but if being attacked and caught by a uppercut your not very good boxer in the first place

Hes asking you to catch upper cut with elbow...not practical skill...good on tape in slow.mo...show it in live action anywhere.
The block of upper cut is foot work...you dont know which variation he's throwing...
See G.Davis vs Santa Cruz...Cruz saw body upper cut, Davis slips and bolo uppercuts head for OK...you can't block upper cuts, as a first response...footwork to angles and smother, all come before 'bullshit blocks'
