Thats actually what i hate most. He would have gone wide everytime but he uses other cars as a braking pad, pushes them wide and gains time and positions. Other guys maybe even get a penalty for going wide.
@@Wbfdwheelman LOL, have you evenwatched the video? He was 3,5 tenths behind super GT. This has nothing to do with leaving a gap open, thats just divebombing and was no overtaking opportunity at all. While starting his cheap "attack" he wasnt anywhere beside super GT. Just dirty driving nothing more. On the second incident this guy doesnt even turn into the corner. Just driving straight to the outside and pushing the other guy of the track. You cant race all the race glued to the inside, so that noone can divebomb. Sometimes its just the racing line . But some people seem not to know them and see a open gap.
THE WHEEL!!! The countersteer is a must have when to do these bumps in the turn... speed up in the turn and let your "accidental" oversteer push the other out of the way. It's really clever to get away with anything. Get on the inside in the turns and put that pedal down "oh sorry it wasn't on purpose"..; your backend will push them out, you have an excuse, and countersteer recovers for you. I bet you can win any race with that system with no penalties.
I have a hugely hard time getting rank ups because of overly aggressive players going for intentional contact. They force you to break late where you have less control, miss the contact then s shape to go for a second attempt. They most likely bomb their stats but if they hit the doors sometimes you get penalized as well and you lose stats
The fact that both the mustang and vw got away without penalty means the moves are calculated. Yes they're noobs, but noobs who knows the loophole within the system
from my limited experience in this game i've noticed this track is a rammer heaven. It doesnt have that stereotypical long straight with heavvy braking zone at the end, but if you have mastered the art of "oopsiedaisy, didn't mean it, i swear" you can pretty much do anything you want in the first sector of the track :(
That subtle ramming thing would make an excellent gimmick for a racing mode. The idea would be that if you push it too far, you get huge penalties, but subtle rams are allowed. Definitely not good for global rankings though.
this is why i love gt, very close race at the end, the feeling when you or your opponent make a come back with dem slipstream at the final lap, your heart beat rising up like crazy, the racing is just intense when i played with some really good players on gt6 lobby, driving gt500 class cars on suzuka with few difficult corners

The penalty system ruined this game for me. Getting rammed off and losing all the postitions AND THEN getting a penalty and losing SR so you can drive with ever worse rammers... terribly implemented. Hopefully Turn 10 learns NOT to implement a penalty system for Forza 7 next year.
The problem with the penalty system in GT Sport is that a lot of the time it gives the penalty to the wrong driver. As evidenced by this exact video, where SuperGT gets that penalty instead of the guy who incorrectly re entered the track.
thinking about it, it would be pretty difficult to try and program and not give the penalty to the wrong person. either that or im just bad at programming and developers are lazy

i don't see what he did wrong all the drivers in front did not defend there line and left a gap to get inside the corner but he could have drive more clean, the roles say plain and simple "no contact between cars"
Two of the moves were from about 200 metres back, of course the drivers weren't going to defend their position. That doesn't give the person behind the the right to lunge in, edge you wide to pass. Here's what he did wrong: used contact to get past. Without the contact he woudln't have passed.

Also, that Dirty Mustang Driver: Judging by his driving I imagine that he’s one of those people on these racing games that is under the impression that as long as he can get any part of his car alongside before the apex of the turn, he should be left the space.
