I upgraded to Loom 2, and I love this, you can use this in RnB, HipHop, Pop, Dance Hall, Movie Scores, Trap, etc. This is going in most of my music. Air Tech you guys rock big time!
Thank you for sharing. Fine tutorial. I upgraded lately to version 2 of LOOM and I think there could be some more new elements but what is there is great anyway. An already brilliantly sounding instrument became even better. A sound designers dream :)
Vacuum Pro has a lot of character. I haven't looked too much into the others but they kind of underwhelmed me generally, aside from Loom and Vacuum. Riser is probably the least interesting to me because I don't make bread and butter EDM type music, my transitions are less conventional and weirder than something like that. Their drum synth seems pretty cool too, though.
just purchased this, seamless upgrade from Loom 1; and I got the free Iris 2, so two mind blowing synths, which work on Reason 9.5 and above, nice to have VST support in Reason.
I have Reason 10 l really like LOOM 2 but when l use it in Reason it is huge and part of the interface is cut off there is no way to resize that l could find . Do you have the same issue ? I also have FL Studio same issue .
@@roy4286 VIP by AIR..... except you still have to install it in a DAW but then VIP can standalone and you can play your vst's through VIP without opening a DAW. .......Akai MPC Beats DAW is free....,
Just bought this from Plugin Boutique today. Looking forward to checking it out. Surprised I don't hear more about it. Seems like a great sounding and powerful synth.
I bought Loom Classic after buying Structure and Hybrid and I can't get Loom to show up in Reason. I have mini host and it shows up in there. I have Reaper and it doesn't show up in there. Can someone tell me what the heck is going after buying two other AIR synths with the same requirements. Was looking at this but I have to get classic going first.
idk what computer you are on but sometimes some daws seem to get arsey over plugin types... logic on my mac only allows .AU, so make sure you download and install all of the available options (au, vst, vst3, and maybe another one, I forget). not sure if that is your problem, but hey you never know

I love this plugin. Already used it in several new tracks. Not a fan of some of the other AIR synths but this one is gold.
I agree, this one is great, but Hybrid is pretty amazing. Velvet is also solid for what it is.

Is there a way to use it as a stand alone outside of a DAW ? I so please leave a how to reply .
