If wish to mention that you want subtitles, it has been a year since I have complaint to google and they still dont know why some of my videos do not show subtitles. Sorry but its not my fault.

Thanks Joe
great video
Pedro Barbosa Thanks :)
Perfect video
Thanks :) . Glad it was helpful.
Your videos are very good. I hope you can make one on doing the external inline fuel filter for the DL650A 2012-2016 model :)
Priestly Lotus Thanks for the kind words. About the fuel filter video, this is gonna be difficult especially as I do not own a 2nd gen model. I will however add other videos as soon as the weather gets a bit better. Best the Doc.
@@DrVstrom thanks for the reply, from what I've found it looks somewhat easy to do. I've taken the pump assembly apart a a few times and reverse flushed the fine filter with kerosene and had some success at improving fuel/throttle performance. but I'll do the by-pass in a month or two.
Priestly Lotus it might look easy but you have to make sure that the bypass will not affect the pressure. Good luck :)
Thanks for this Video , can you adjust the idil speed ? I have the same model and i feel its idiling a bit high , maybe . Also , what rpm 's does yours idil at ?
Thanks
Mine is at 1350. Did you change air filter and/or exhaust or anything else? If you did not change anything and you still feel its higher than 1350, try this:
1) Turn ignition to OFF.
2) Put the bike in dealer mode (follow my video).
3) Turn the ignition ON.
4) Turn the ignition to the OFF again.
5) Wait for 10 seconds and the ISC valve automatically goes to PRE-SET.
6) Put bike out of dealer mode & if all is well, Idle should be at around be 1300rpm.
@@DrVstrom ok , thanks , had from brand new , no running mods , all standard , only 3000 klms . Can you send me the link for that video please ,
Thanks .
This is the video to put the bike in dealer mode th-cam.com/video/0yWRhRmFweo/w-d-xo.html
Great!
Thanks :)
Two questions: 1) Will this procedure work with second gen ‘Stroms too? 2) Does throttle free play contribute to throttle lurching?
Walter Wilkins 1) yes it will work as the process is the same. Use the triangle stickers as marks, measure and adjust.
2) With 3rd gen Vstrom the ecu compensates for throttle automatically at low rpm so it’s a slightly special case. But in general with all bikes it’s better to have the cable adjusted properly always to :
-Have immediate power transfer when twisting the throttle so as to shift in synch
-And also to avoid cases where the cable might be too tight and the engine idle speed raises automatically when you turn your wheel with the risk of accidents.
Adjust as the video and if you need help let me know :)
I love to see your vids. But i miss the subtitles. Your english is good but i dont speak it. Need read your explains subtitled to understand you. Thanks for all friend
Kron0s I m sorry but there is no easy way to make subtitles. It would have to be done manually and to synchronize text with scenes. This would take a lot of time and this is something I currently do not have. As you say you don’t speak English, few others have also asked to have subtitles in different languages ! So if it takes long time for one imagine for more languages. I think there must be mobile phone applications like “Translate me” that translate from sound. Maybe you can do it this way. Play my video and put your phone with the app next to the speaker. Problem solved
@@DrVstrom Thanks for the response. I understand thats difficult to make it. No problem, i ll try this app. Please, continue with your vids, they are very useful🙂
Haha… watch twice.
Thanks!
