Mango Tasting & How mango is grown in SoCal

I got to hang out with my friend Phi to test out couple of his home grown mango and Thai Seedless Guava. He's very knowledgeable in growing mango and atemoya and many other exotic fruits.

Any good soil I can buy to plant mango in ground? I am in south California. Any suggestions?

This is my own soils mixed, DG, pumice, triple grind red wood and gypsum
