Hey Theo, I liked hearing your thoughts much more than the reveal, and I liked the card too. For me, It’s the stories behind the cards that matter most. I am glad you had a memorable Father’s Day.
I appreciate that Terry, I agree the stories behind the cards mean the most! Thanks for watching and the kind words! 👊🏻
Great story. I think it is important to have these memories. I think baseball is very impactful in the way it shapes memories.
It really is! As important as football is in the country, baseball still has something special that’s hard to describe. I appreciate you watching and commenting!
1966/67 Bazooka RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRoberto gets a 6.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 You, my friend, must be living clean! Awesome thoughts as well! CONGRATULATIONS, my collecting brother! 😊👊
Haha, clean living 😂 Definitely happy, what a stunna! Thanks for making me smile and sharing in my enjoyment!
Loved that you got to play catch with your dad and kids. That will fill your heart real quick. Time well spent!
100%, gotta put things in perspective!
So great that you were playing with your Dad. Congrats on the card.
Thanks Orlando! 😊
Getting a chance to play catch with both your dad and your kids is a perfect Father's Day. I agree with your thoughts, a majority of the cards I collect are tied to memories, and those stories are the ones that matter the most! Fantastic Father's Day present, what an awesome-looking card and grade! Congrats and thanks for sharing that great story, enjoy the 4th with your family Theo!
Definitely a great day! Thanks Steve, I’m definitely so happy to add such a scarce card to my collection! You enjoy your 4th too!!!
Great video. Baseball cards are more than just a little piece of paper. To a collector they can be a fun core memory.
@@hangloosecards 💯💯, thanks for the kind words and watching!
Having a catch with your Dad- Field of Dreams, CC! Love to see that glove some day. Nice stands, great cards and outstanding reveal! ‘67 is a great year! Love the stories behind the cards! Good Collecting👍❤️
Field of dreams 💯! Thanks, I appreciate that! 😊
Awesome cards Theo, congrats! Amazing story about Father's Day. What a great memory and probably more importantly your kids will remember it.
Thanks Billy! Yeah crazy to think they are 10 and 12 & it’s there first time playing catch, but as you know baseball isn’t king anymore. It’s sad in a way because there’s definitely something special about playing catch.
@ClementeCollector No doubt. Unfortunately, my kids have no interest in it.
Great Bazooka's! Awesome SGC return on the 66/67, a 6.5 is incredible!!! Congrats bro!
Let’s gooo!!! Haha! Yes a big grade for a hand cut card! Thanks man!
Great video! I have the same sentimental attachment to this hobby, but it is through my mom. She gave me her 60’s collection a few years ago and I am hooked!
That’s really cool! For them to persevere there cards for so many years, is actually insane! Life wasn’t as easy and space was at a premium! Very blessed! Thanks for sharing!
Fantastic bazooka Theo Congratulations! Great memory you made with your family on Father’s Day!
Thanks Jason! Yeah glad to share and I appreciate that! I’m enjoying the new show with Sammy, keep it up!
@@ClementeCollector Thanks Theo!
That’s a great thing to do on Father’s Day ⚾️ Really cool to have that card to remind you of it. Thanks for sharing your story Theo and congrats on the beautiful card!
Thanks Hugo! Definitely happy to have this card added and even more important the memory of this Fathers Day!
Cool memories with the family . Nice 6.5 🎉. Grats Theo on that grade
Thanks Adam! Super happy! 😃
Congrats Theo.
Thanks TJ!
Theo, What an awesome day! I'm glad you and your dad got to play some catch. I don't mean to be sad, but it's so important to take those opportunities because you don't want to look back and wish you took the chance. All the best to you my brother! See you at the National my Burgh Brother!
Yeah you are right, time goes by so fast! I appreciate the kind words and you watching and commenting! Yes, can’t wait for the Natty!!!! Happy you are coming again!
Like #68, L.C. Greenwood in the house of cards! So many of my cards have memories that go along with them. It's what makes a lot of our cards more special. Not corny at all Theo! or stupid to talk about. Couldn't agree more with what you are saying in this video and I can relate to how you are feeling and the words you bring to us. I always say that cards are like music. You always remember where you were or have a specific memory that goes along with a specific song or card. That is so cool that you collect because of your dad, great memories for you. It was opposite for me, I never had the privilege of my dad supporting me at really at anything. But not going to get in to it. I just want you to know that I feel a lot of the same feelings as you, being a father myself and wanting to give my children more of my time than my dad gave me brings me joy. Anyways, thanks for expressing your feelings and sharing it with us and it's awesome that you got a 6.5 on the Bazooka Clemente. I am so happy for you. I guessed a 7 by the way. Great looking card and I love the Bazooka as well, I was just searching some yesterday. Don't own any, but have been drawn to them for years. Such cool cards. Enjoyed the video and elated for you, now Lets go Bucs! It was almost as if you raised the Jolly Roger with this pickup and to be a local pickup is even more awesome. 👍👍 and ✌out
Wow great comment! I feel you, every parent has things their parents did, that they say- I’m gonna do that better. Different times and different set of circumstances, it’s hard sometimes to know for sure what they had to deal with. I love the music analogy, and just like music, it’s fun to listen to alone but it’s also fun to share with other ppl that love that song. Us as collectors, urn to have family members and close friends show some interest in our hobby, but unfortunately that’s more rare these days. But as you build friends in this community, it feels like family. Well I hope you find a bazooka card, I’d say- go for one that isn’t a Clemente. Or big star, if you want to save money. I picked up a few Groats recently and will show them soon. The Clemente that is the most attainable is the 71. Thanks for watching and the support! 👊🏻
Nothing like playing catch! Great story Theo. You're making me an emotional Trainwreck! 🤣🤣 Great Bazookas!
LOL, you’re so funny Warren! Thanks I love the card, it’s really awesome but the day itself was def the best part!
Awesome grade on a great card. The 1966 Clemente Panel has Dean Chance Angels, 1967 Panel has Dean Chance Twins.
Yeah that’s fair, but how would SGC know what panel this card came from? They are identical when cut out. It seems they just decided to grade them all 67, when individual. Thanks man, appreciate you watching!
@@ClementeCollector They don't know the difference between the years. Watching you cut a panel might be the only way. Some of my 1928 or 1929 Stevens-Davis are lumped as 1928/29, when they could just look at the date and say 1928 or 1929.
Great thoughts on family connections to cards, Theo! And a great run of Clemente Bazooka cards; I can see why they’re your favorite ‘food’ issue!
Thanks Robert! Yeah, there’s something special about the images they used, as well as the uniqueness of them being attached to bubble gum- baseball and bubble gum go hand in hand in card history! Thanks for watching and the kind word!
Whoa! Congrats my man, that is some reveal!
Thanks Dan!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better card, with my budget, super excited!
Congrats on the great card and amazing grade.
Thanks Graig, definitely happy about owning this card!
Wow! Great card and collection. Congrats!
Thanks Rob!!! Super happy! 😊
Great personal story and an awesome 1966/67 Bazooka Clemente.
@@mathbowler2782 Thanks brother! Definitely a sweet card, with a personal story tied to it!
Great words Theo, it's good to have memories attached to certain cards.
It really is! And the fact it’s a card I really wanted is the cherry on top!
I thought this was just going to be an SGC reveal.
I was pleasantly surprised that this video was so much more, and so much more meaningful than putting a card in a plastic tomb.
Sincerely enjoyed the first half of the video Theo, and congratulations on your addition!
@@LegendsNeverDieCollection haha, glad you were pleasantly surprised! Appreciate that, thanks for sharing in my joy!
I’m gonna support you and your channel even if you put them in those plastic holders 🤪😉
But really, some meaningful stuff in this one!
@@LegendsNeverDieCollection 👊🏻
Great thoughts Theo. I also remember my dads exact glove he used for decades to play catch. Awesome bazooka collection 👊👊🤙🤙
Thanks Dylan! Yeah I used to make fun of him in middle school, because he had this vintage glove at baseball practice but now I think it’s cool, but it’s definitely falling apart! Appreciate you watching! 👊🏻
First time watching your videos and absolutely love it. The hobby is wonderful if your focus and goals are pure
@@CarlFord-qj4fc wow, thanks so much and welcome to the channel!! 😀
Just incredible pickup and to get a 6.5 Wow
I’m definitely excited! Thanks Scott!
Congrats, Theo! Fantastic grade, amazing card. I think out of the ones you showed, I like that '67 the most. It was great to hear about your special Father's Day.
The 67 is definitely a sweet card and image of the great one! I was shocked by the grade, that’s crazy for a hand cut! Thanks man for watching!
Nice reveal Theo
Thanks Jason!!!
Hi Theo, that is cool that you got to play catch with your dad. Congrats on the Bazooka Clemente. The card looks great.
It was, thanks Jim! Yeah I’m super happy with it, I appreciate the comment!
Great story Theo. Reminds me of one my favorite sport movies..... Field Of Dreams
Haha, thanks man! Appreciate you watching and the kind words!
Happy belated Father's Day on congrats on that sweeet Clemente. What a nice grade.
@@eddyscardboardchaos thanks Eddy! Definitely a great addition! 😀
Hi Theo
Great story, very sincere and global to parents everywhere.
@@ronmelnik4430 thanks, much appreciated! Really appreciate you taking time out to comment!
Great memories were definitely made - congrats on the card!
💯, thanks man I appreciate it!
Hi Theo, Seem like such a great dude and appreciate your story before the card reveal. What a moment to have with your family! All those Clemente are amazing! Appreciate how you’ve branched out with other channels and diving into some hot topic… (Psa vs. others) keep up the great content man!
@@Jeremy-VintageCards That’s very nice of you, thanks so much! I’ll definitely do more deep dives in the future, I really enjoy doing them.
Congratulations on your pickup. Great story
Thanks Peter!!! 😃
Great video and great thoughts. I hope I’m there with you in a few weeks to watch you knock another one off your list.
Stands look great if I do say so myself.😁
Haha, they definitely classed up the place!!! Hope you sell out! Thanks for watching and for the 2 free stands! 😊
Congrats on the great addition and grade!
@@cardboardhistory Thanks, definitely an awesome card! 😀
Congrats on the card, and awesome memory! Hopefully you get the ones you have left.
Did you see the Bazooka’s from the Fairfield, CA show that Graig posted? I don’t remember if those are the years you’re looking for. What’s funny is I actually saw those cards at the show, thought of you, and got to actually meet Graig!
Wow, what are the chances!!! Graig is a good dude! Yeah Graig text me from the show, I need the 68, but the guy wanted $2500 for it, which is ridiculous!! So I’m gonna have to be patient. I’ll keep grinding and hopefully get the last 3 at some point!
Love it, Theo! Congrats on the sweet Bazookas. Cheers! ❤
Thanks so much!!! 😊
Congrats on a great grade on a great card!
Thanks Mark, super happy! 😃
So awesome, great story and an awesome card. Congratulations on the grade! Take care
Thanks brother, I appreciate it! Have a great 4th!
Man them are sick !!! I luv them ! I also Clemente collector too! Great job 😎😎
Awesome!!! Clemente guys need to stick together! Appreciate you watching!
Your best video yet, imo. Cheers!
Wow, thanks that’s nice of you! Cheers!
Awesome grade!
Yeah I was blow away, you never know with the hand cut cards
I've got the 68. It's raw and will grade it this summer. Probably send it in after the Nat. It's actually my favorite pic of any card I have from my collection
The 68 is my favorite bazooka card also!! It’s such a unique image of Clemente! And probably the most expensive bazooka of his. Keep me posted on how the grading goes, that’s awesome!
You have me looking into Brooks Robinson Bazooka cards now. I might pick your brain about them at the National. Awesome Clemente cards!
I told you I’d eventually wear you down! They can get pricey but they are so unique. I’ll definitely help however I can, there’s a few red flags to look out for.
Brooks Robinson is a fine choice. Go O's!
Good stuff there Theo! Congrats!!
Thanks David, appreciate you watching! 👊🏻
YOU ARE BAZOOKA JOE!
😎
Looks like SGC has previously slabbed some cards as 66/67. If anything they should do 66,67, and 66/67, as the majority of the cards are identical when cut out, but some are only in 66 or 67. For example Koufax retired after 66 and was replaced in 67.
Yeah, I know Clemente’s panel is different in each year but how does SGC know what panel this is from? If you look at the pop report, they never have graded his individual as a 66, only a 67. I appreciate the consistency but feel they should have done 66/67 from the beginning on the individual. I didn’t know that about Koufax’s bazooka, thanks for sharing!
We want 9's and 10's
LOL, I’ll try harder!
Dude! I thought this was a grading reveal not a Hallmark movie 🥲 haha wow amazing run and grade and the new addition!
Haha, got me there!! Thanks man!
