      @bonjourmansee  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, infact the sun is at the front facade during the late mornings.... and sunset at the back balcony in the evening! ;-) Will try to set up a sitting area in the front balcony inspired by your cafe! :)

    Nice kitchen tour. So tidy and clean. Many Belgians here hesitate to give apartment for rent to Asians/ Africans since some of them dont keep the house clean, especially kitchen ( leave it all greasy and dirty), and the bathroom etc. One Belgian person known to me ( I live in Brugge)...would not want to rent his house to Indians or our Pakistanis because he cant stand the smell of spices! Lol. I open all the windows while cooking Indian once in a while so that house air is fresh and no smells. Which part of Brussels are you at? I am often at Molenbeek Brussels at my friends place.

      Thanks! Yes you are right somewhat- but our experience has been lucky so far, we never encountered discrimination. Although we have offcourse heard of some experiences and hence stay extra careful about not annoying the neighbours (like I mentioned in my earlier videos) currently we stay in wsl commune . Please subscribe and keep watching the videos 🙏🏽

    Enjoy the new apartment! I must say it’s indeed a wonderful kitchen setup…do you get utensils as well as a part of furnishings in kitchen ?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you again! Sometimes utensils are included (like in our previous 4 apartments…they were fully furnished) this one , the new apartment is unfurnished..so no utensils were included. However we did get in built kitchen appliances as a part of deal.

    I like how systematic the kitchen is, you found a great place! How is the TRS quality when compared to Indian supermarket brands?

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the quality standards in Europe are very strict, brands like TRS go under strict screening. So the quality is very good & no chances of food adulteration. I found products slightly better than our traditional at-home brands. :)

    This looks as a typical 1960s high-rise. My girlfriend used to live in one. Elevator capacity 2 people, often broken down.
    Halls wide enough for barely 2 (not too fat) people. But even worse was the imposed "curfew" at 10 PM. After that time, no walking around, no talking or you could be certain a nasty neighbour would be banging on your door.

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very nice vlog I have watched so far on Belgium...Can you please share some information on schools in Brussels..????.and also how tough it is to be a vegetarian ( not even eggitarian) in such European countries. One more question.. How easy it is communicating there in English. Thanks in advance.

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks first of all for watching & reaching out Sunita! 1. About schools : The government schools are free and offer schooling in french & dutch. The private schools are very expensive. English schools fall under this category. 2. Being a vegetarian is definitely not easy as your food options get drastically limited. There are vegan options in supermarkets, some restaurants have vegan menu as well 3. English is (very)slowly getting accepted in public places but STILL a lot of your official work, interaction with people here hugely relies on local languages. Very soon I'll upload a new video covering challenges/culture shocks faced by Indians here - so that new Indian expats can be better prepared :)

Kindly mention the average rent for 2bhk flat there like urs with such a pretty kitchen with great ventilation...???

    Yaar I got an offer in Belgium, but heard ki wahan ka tax pay rate is too high, kuchh bachega nehi after we pay our tax which is 50%. So any suggestions Jaan Kitna sahi rahega? I found your videos quite informative and helpful, so asking this. Thanks dear.

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, tax in Belgium depends also on your family situation, how many members are earning, if there are kids, etc. Other factor is salary(more salary, more tax -obviosuly), your status- local contractor or expat(expats are given a tax relaxation)- so saying that 'kuch nahi bachega' is a miscalculated conclusion. However, its definitely true that Belgium a developed country, capital of EU and taxes are high - this doesn't mean you will not be able to do any savings. Based on your situation, how many members will earn in the family, child plans, loans in your home country that you need to pay back, your take home salary in belgium that your employer is offering, make calculations & decide. It will make the situation clear for you ! good luck! :)

    • @bonjourmansee
      @bonjourmansee  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Coconut is not native crop , so we don’t get a lot of variety but Yes you get it 👍so we get it in indian stores (tender coconut, peeled and packed) we also get cut coconut (the one with brown hare covering used for making chutney) but it is pre-cut packed. You can find it in delhaize
