I got some grasses in 2 pots from my Korean landlord, and after a few years, the bloomed into the incredible 1-day bloom, so I realized it was a walking orchid, not just a grass. The plants are still inside and are giant now--I got more than 100 blooms off two pots this spring. I have not been able to find info on how to handle the shoots/babies, so thank you! Am going to repot those babies today.
the wildlife in Aussie is so amazing. you're so lucky to live in such an amazing country. was this taken in Brisbane? you should go take video updates of some of your old projects. that would be fun. I miss when you had your landscaping business. those were the good old days. you botanist you
I seen these everywhere and always thought it was an orchid. Wandering Iris very pretty. Do they have Wandering jew plants or teddy bear plant over there?
Tough as nails. I have them growing in areas that are very hostile. Cant see you killing one unless you fuss about them too much. Flowers don't last a long time.
Is it waiting for you to stir up the bugs so that it can eat them? Birds would do that whenever I would cut grass they would come and eat whatever bugs would flee the lawnmower.
This little video made me very happy. Thank you, Greg.
+diggindepp thanks :)
These things went nuts in my yard. If you hang them from trees they "walk" down to the ground and look beautiful. Love your videos mate
