China's Economy in 2023: The Startling Truth Exposed

  • One of the world’s strongest economies has done a complete 180, going from an economic powerhouse to what President Biden has called a “ticking time bomb.” China has gone from economic prosperity into one of the worst possible scenarios: deflation.
In recent years, China’s economy has slowly headed towards stagnancy. Compared to their double-digit growth rates in the early 2000s, the 5.5% growth rate for the first half of 2023 looks less than ideal.
You may be wondering: what does that have to do with me? If I’m living in North America, how does China’s economy affect me whatsoever? Well, think about it this way. Imagine that all of the countries play on the same sports team, with China being one of the star players. If it suddenly gets benched for the rest of the game, it’s hard to tell whether or not there’s even a chance to win.

China is FORMERLY the factory of the world. Most of the made in China products are now either made entirely in Vietnam, Mexico or with the case of all my new tools. GERMANY.

China will still be strong for a long time but you are right that Mexico, Vietnam and India are separate to steal some of the pie. We have a videos about some of the troubles facing India and Mexico in particular in doing so. Thanks for commenting.

All of the special effects ruins your presentation. Too bad because the narrative looked pretty good. Thumbs down.

    Several comments...
First of all, you're assuming that China's economic challenges this year cannot be overcome. China's economy is extremely large and resilient. China has time to work on the problems. So what is the purpose of your doom and gloom video? Sensationalism? Click bait?
Second, all the other major economies face similar challenges. The USA also has problems in real estate and the banking sector. The USA also has tremendous debt. Europe is in huge economic crisis because of inflation and energy prices. But we should fret over China exclusively?
Third, Western analysts and journalists have be predicting China's economic collapse _every year since 1990._ Go ahead, do the research.
Guess what. They've been wrong _every single time._
    If I were a betting man, I wouldn't bet against China. It's a sucker's bet.

Thanks for your comment. No one is suggesting we fret over China exclusively. This video simply looks at the challenges facing China. We have plenty of videos looking at the challenges the USA is facing for example. Some of those challenges, such as de-dollarisation are potentially hugely damaging and destabilising for the USA. That doesn't mean that China doesn't have issues and that those issues should be glossed over. China's economy hasn't been around long enough in its current form to suggest it is resilient enough to face any and every challenge though it does have some advantages in terms of population size and structure (semi-controlled). However, these can just as easily work against it.
      Thanks for your comment!
