We visited this area in April of 2021. The geography and geology of this area is remarkable, and most interesting to explore. Bryce canyon hikes are amazing, one should spend at least 3 days there doing the hikes. Also great is Kolob canyon. You could spend a month exploring Kolob, which is just as impressive, if not more so than Zion canyon. These other destinations are also excellent and good for at least one day, but more likely several days, lots of hikes to show you the mysteries and points of interest in each of these areas. Also not to be missed is the Cedar Breaks rim trails, which provide some truly awesome views. regards, Dan
KayVgKatTV: Thanks for the comment and thanks for the complement ! Glad you liked it. It took me 10 days to produce, lots of editing, and much longer to capture the footage and images. But I'm proud of how it turned out. I'm learning a lot more about video editing through making this Six Awesome series. thanks again for your comment !!! Very kind. regards, Dan
Utah is an amazing place to explore. It has all kinds of geographical features that can be found nowhere else in the USA. Most people just see what's in the parks, but there is a ton more than that all around the state.
Jim: Thank you for the comment. I am looking forward to our next visit to the area. I didn't spend as much time in these places as I would have liked had I not been recovering from my surgery earlier that year. I think it takes about 18 months to mostly recover from open heart surgery, as I'm feeling pretty well recovered these days. Again, thanks for the comment. Regards, Dan
Jim: Thanks for the comment. If you ever get over to the southwest Utah area, you should plan a few days to visit Kolob Canyons. It's a very special place. Regards, Dan
Why are you reading all of those? Have you even been there before? It would be much more authentic if you would just talk about it and your experiences there. And why would you include Bryce national park in a list of unknown places? Sounds like you don’t know the area at all who are the people who visit?
Well, I must say that I've produced more than 100 videos, and this is the first time I've ever had a comment like this. Fair enough. Different people have different ways of producing videos. Since I get literally nothing to produce these videos, it behoves me to minimize my costs, yet I want to produce as good of a video as possible. In order to remember to mention all the many important details, I write a script after I've amassed all the details, including the many details that I absorbed by going there. The script includes details that ooze out of the landscape, as well as those that I unearth while doing an exhaustive research of the area. In answer to your "have you even been there"? The answer is yes. However, as a visitor there renting a house there for 3 months I have not absorbed as much information as someone who grew up there, and worked hard to explore and learn the area. My visit there cost approximately $11,740.00, not counting the amortization of about $16,000 of camera equipment, and 3 months of my life, all for your free entertainment. If you remit me a check for $200,000, I will hire a camera crew and produce a genuinely wonderful, no doubt much better video. Let me know if you are interested in paying that much. My goal was not to be authentic, but rather, to be informative, and useful to future visitors to the area, while providing a mildly entertaining viewing experience for a few minutes. Please feel free to produce your own video and send me a link, and I'll feel admonished if you spend a like amount of time and money and produce a better product. :-)
@ you obviously do not handle rejection well. I have been watching lots of videos about Utah, Arizona and New Mexico since I am planning a trip there and planning to move somewhere there. So I really need thoughtful, insightful good information. I don’t want to just read a book to find out about things I want to experience it. There are some top quality travel related videos, and I don’t think all of them use expensive equipment and expensive production stuff. I know they don’t but they have personality, warmth, excitement about the areas, and just use that to express their information. It is so much more rewarding and I really enjoy them. I save a lot of them. And all of those people have lots of followers and lots of views and likes and comments. I can pretty much tell now if there’s hardly any comments that means it was an AI or just read out loud. I feel bad so that people spend a lot of time and they don’t get many likes, or comments. I have other talents that I doubt if you can do. I’m a resin artist I’m a very experienced, and now retired physical therapist. I adopted two sons from Russia, which takes Unbelievable, skills and talents to raise them. I volunteer with at risk teenagers, mostly boys. So I’m not interested in trying to do a TH-cam video and don’t pretend that I could.
Thanks for the video!
you are welome.
Thanks for your kindness, and thanks for your comment.
